You really need to replace those mattresses, beds and pillows. The bed was very squeaky and the pillows made my neck/upperback hurt. Was expecting a beach front view when opening the curtain and windows, not someone’s backyard. There shouldn’t be a parking fee if we paid to stay there. It should already be included. I’ve stayed at several hotels and this is the first where I’m charged a separate fee.

Facility was undergoing renovations but did not disclose while booking. As a result facility was minimal: no fitness center, no food option and lounge was tiny. Front desk person were not of hotel quality—reminds me of a motel by the side of highway. Room towel and linens were very cheap and thin.

Nice vacay just one block from beach. Roof top hot tub, exercise and kitchenette closed for remodeling (but we did not see those remodeling happen). Breakfast was just muffins, water, canola bar in brown bag. All not what we expected....sorry

The property was ok . There is construction going on and the noise is disturbing when you are trying to relax as it lasted into the evening. The blow dryer did not work. The rug in the room was worn out in spots and seemed quite dirty . The jacuzzi wasn't in service and the refrigerator worked but wasnt cold enough. The housekeeping staff was friendly. The view was great! Just a short walk to the beach. Dining and shopping is very close which is a plus .

if you stay here be prepared to pay 15 bucks a night for parking I’m not sure how people can rate this a 10! the staff was arrogant. The location was great but do urself a favor save your money and pick another place

Very close walking distance to the beach. Everything is walking distance, beach, shopping, food. The hotel it’s self, was under construction so it was a good price, no working hot tub, pool, fitness. Definitely needs updated, but it was clean! No breakfast either so that was a bummer. But would stay again!

Hotel was being upgraded and remodeled during our stay and noisy and the room was “fairly” clean. The floor was not as clean as expected.

Had construction in the room above me at 8am. I pay to sleep there, poor management, start work as the guests from the night before check out not when they are sleeping. Sticky stuff on my floor when I checked in. Red marks on my white towels. Water leaking everywhere in the garage Just overall not what I expected. With that said, still has such potential to be nice place

There was a big red sign right at the front door that said the first floor of the structure was unsafe to occupy. It was dirty dingy, I’d suggest staying literally anywhere else. Construction going on next door. It’s just was not worth the money.

Stay was average but Room 115 specifically, the WIFI does not reach. I had to go near the entrance DOOR just to get 2 bars. Once you leave the door, u lose the wifi.

Our 3rd floor oceanfront room was mediocre at best. The partial view of the ocean was nice. The traffic noise of PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) was absolutely horrible until late at night. Our king bed was old and too firm and the pillows were extra small and lumpy. The chairs were very uncomfortable. The sliding glass doors to the balcony got stuck. There is only a cheap small aluminum rack to hang clothes and no dresser with drawers. Overall, the hotel looks and feels old and tired. Signs indicate remodeling in progress, but are several years old. Ownership needs to upgrade the rooms and property. Booked last minute to attend a business conference nearby, but should have looked elsewhere.

We had 3 rooms on this visit. 2 of the rooms had no ceiling or wallpaper. It was just insulation sticking out of the roof. I understand they are renovating but to have a room with no roof or wall was not okay. If your in the middle of renovating that room, you should not have guest in it.

Fantastic location, upgraded bathroom, friendly staff. In room coffee pot wasn’t clean and fridge didn’t work great. Patio was great and the beach steps away was fun. We would definitely return.

Property is clean and a great location but is very outdated. Appears to have been under construction since 2022 and the bed was very springy and uncomfortable. For the price, not a terrible experience.

Overall, our stay was good. The only issue was that the staff was very rude, and the WiFi didn’t work. They told us it was because of the 'fires,' but the signal was on—we just couldn't connect. Every other nearby place with WiFi was working perfectly. We chose this place for a business trip, so at times, we really needed WiFi. That being said, the price-quality ratio was really good, so it was still a decent option.

We always stay at this property when we come to HB, the location is great if you want to be close to Main Street shopping and food, the pier is a short walk. The property is undergoing renovations and we were offered one of the new rooms. Way better than before. Not to mention, the receptionist was able to check us in a little early which was awesome. Thank you!

When we arrived they had cancelled our reservations. They blamed Expedia and Expedia blamed the hotel. The hotel charged us outside of Expedia's charges and I am still arguing for that refund. But they have no phone because apparently someone cut their lines so no one is answering and when you're a guest there you can't call down because there's no phone. The hotel was dirty and the person at the front desk had no idea how to run the hotel. Had to call a manager from his cell phone multiple times and we still ended up leaving for another hotel. Then I found out when I got home that they charged me for two nights when I never actually stayed there. Never again.

I would like to say overall the experience was poor. What is wrong with the overnight staff and the morning staff , seems to have an attitude for us just being there. I didn’t ask y’all to work there, so don’t take it out on the customers when choosing this property

Huntington Beach Inn is one of the best locations. Only a few blocks to Main street, HB pier, and many restaurants and shopping. Safe area for walking and the beach is literally across the street. The hotel is remodeling and common areas are not complete, but how much time would you spend in the lobby? My room was fully remodeled and clean. Included a coffee maker, mini-fridge and microwave. I enjoyed my stay. Prices are competitive for the area. I do recommend the HB Inn.

Beautiful outside of hotel, inside is dirty and run down, beds and linens are awful. They have been doing breakfast area renovations since January 2022-a yr and 8 months. Take out is cheap danish and a stale granola bar with a mini water. Very disappointed in the photos compared to what you actually see. You leave a sign to not clean your room and you walk up to a housekeeper in there.

Overall, we really like this hotel. We have stayed here a few times because it is nicer and cheaper than some hotels nearby and walkable to Main St. restaurants, the pier and the beach. It is isn't fancy and the lobby and hallways could use some TLC, but it has what we need and is clean. Only wish they would upgrade their breakfast (which is currently only a package of mini muffins and a granola bar.)

A one and done weekend trip. Overall a very good stay with the beach across PCH and Main Street about a 3 min walk. They do have a grab and go breakfast which was "light" on choices and the coffee maker was not working correctly.
