I have stayed here many, many times. It's my prefered hotel when in this area. In all the times I have stayed here (over 40) this is the first time I had an issue. The room had some weird smell to it. I can't put my finger on what the source of the smell was. Noticeable and not pleasant, but not bad enough to make me request a different room. I'm going to consider this an anomaly and book my next stay here.

Unfortunately, my stay resulted in two significant issues: a coffee maker with visible mold and multiple bug bites after sleeping in the room. I photographed both the insects I found in and around the bed and the bites I received. The staff was kind and did refund my room, which I appreciated. However, I have repeatedly requested the written pest-control inspection report so I can understand what was found in the room and what may have caused the bites, and I have not received the report or a response to those requests. I typically do not leave negative reviews because I understand that isolated issues can happen. What has been most disappointing is the lack of transparency and follow-up, particularly because the bites caused ongoing issues and I needed the information for my own health and to determine what precautions I needed to take with my belongings. I do want to acknowledge that the staff members I interacted with were kind and courteous. My concern is with the lack of follow-through after the incident.

The kitchen really helped, although not enough kitchen appliances- you need to request them (if available). I would recommend to bring your own (like skillet, blender, tea kettle). The rest is great!
