Nice inexpensive motel for a Morro Bay getaway. 2 person table in the room along with refrigerator and microwave (not included in the description!). Note parking on property is somewhat limited, parking has a height limit of 9\'-6" for most spaces. Street parking is adjacent and pretty abundant, which is what I opted for.

Property was clean and had all the necessities. Problem-not enough park spots for the number of rooms. Had to park down the street one of the nights-not good!

The room was great. The parking however was not. At check-in we had a spot but returning after our concert there were none. Red curbs up and down the street made it almost impossible to find a spot close to the property. They don’t check license plates a check-in so good luck if you get to your room later in the evening.

Rude Owners/Management. Limited Parking with no other accommodations. We were accused of having pets because of a noise complaint which was the creaking floors that were close to collapsing. The mini fridge was noisy all night. We didnt have hot water and when we called they were short and hung up with no explanation or expectation. I waled to desk and when I asked about the hot water I was told to "calm down" which i was very calm. I will never stay here again. Jerks

Morro Bay Beach Inn had positive and negative aspects. The staff was very welcoming and the room was fine for the one night my daughter and I stayed. The location was good as it was only blocks away from the water and you could see Morro Rock from the property. The negative aspects to the property was that it was extremely loud and you could hear everyone’s conversation. I was woken up multiple times until about 3 in the morning from people’s conversations, slamming of doors, and walking above us. The second challenge was parking. There is just barely enough spots in their parking lot, so if there is more than one car in your party to stay there will not be enough spaces for everyone to stay. My daughter and I got back from dinner at 9pm and there was only one spot left to park. Lastly, the parking spaces are extremely small and tight so if you have a bigger SUV as I do you will barely fit. When my daughter and I returned from dinner I was barely able to fit our SUV in the one space available and we had to climb out of the back in order to get out of the car, definitely intense! To sum things up, if you are staying for more than 1 night I would stay elsewhere.

Our room was a little outdated but not bad at all. We did have an ocean view. It was very quiet. Our AC didn’t work well and I told the owner in the morning. He checked on it immediately and apologized for its malfunction. The bed was comfy and we had a nice size fridge. Parking was a bit tight as we have a bigger truck but the owner allowed us to park in front of the office.

Will come back again...affordable, easy parking, walk to Morro Rock and watch the otters, very comfy beds, and amazingly quiet. Clean and lovely folks who manage.

The room was very clean, we were there a very short time. The mattress was not to our level of comfort but other than that it was a nice clean room.

This road side motel appears to be recently renovated. The check in and desk clerk was friendly and the process went smoothly. The hotel was a few blocks from Main Street and the water front area. Not bad for a long walk. The room was clean and well done. We noticed the traffic at the nearby intersection was a bit loud and could be heard throughout the stay. Overall was a nice place for one night to see the town.

Sheets on bed were only straight there were no fitted sheets sliding up laying on matteress pad. Hair in shower , towels with stains old worn. Room dated and stained would not recomend

This place was absolutely disgusting!! I literally walked into the room and 5 minutes later walked out! No way I was staying there!! I went to ask for a refund and they wouldn’t give me one!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!! Absolutely a waste of money!!! The pillow cases had yellowish stains!! The restroom were absolutely disgusting!

The room with 2 beds was small. The place has thin walls, hearing the occupants above and it's on a fairly busy, ie noisy, street. Walkable to the pier with places to eat and shop. The host was friendly.

The view of the rock is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. If you have a disability make sure you let them know ahead of time so you get a ground room there are only a few rooms. Close to restaurants and shops. The Friendly Fisherman has great food next door!

Mom and pop owned hotel that was clean and comfortable. Loved that we overlooked the morro bay rock. Wish the bed had more pillows.

They could invest in some nicer bed linens that are not scratchy and old, it was clean but the decor was very outdated for the price. The rooms are small. The mattress was tolerable, but again either old or cheaper quality. Not much insulation in walls, it was noisy with kids running up/downstairs. Good question would be what were the parents doing? Nothing This property would have more appeal with some much needed upgrades for interior decor/fresh paint, etc.

I love Morro Bay andthe Morro Bay Beach Inn made so convenient and accessible to all the places we like to walk to. Straight down to our favorite restaurant and the view of Morro Rock. Definitely will return for repeat visits.

Safe and clean, close to where we wanted to eat. Perfect for the price we wanted to pay.

I was glad to be able to find something last minute so I could enjoy the kite festival and not have to rush home . The staff were friendly but the place is in need of some attention for sure. We got a room which is tucked away at the end of a very short corridor . The beds were hard and noisy Shower has a tub but couldn’t use tub. The walls are paper thin and all night I could hear the person next door snoring like a big dog! In the morning I took my small cooler to the ice machine to fill it with ice for my waters only to find a sign on the machine not to fill any coolers. Wt?! So I took it back inside and proceeded to make several trips back and forth with the small ice bucket until I filled my cooler. 😂😂 There is no continental bfast..nothing in this place . Just a place to crash and then scram .
