Great property, very minimal breakfast with no cappuccino, problems with hot water, but they were resolved with the help at the front desk. Very nice pool overlooking wonderful countryside.

We had three nights at La Chiusa. «Room nr.5» The place it self is adorable with an stunning view from the hotel. Bathroom was very well renovated with a large shower and spacious bedroom. No complaints about the staf, helpful and kind. The breakfast was a little disappointing with not much to choose from. The food it self at the restaurant was good, but maybe a bit to small portions for the price. The reason for the three stars is because we had ants walking the floors in the room and on the bed 2/3 nights. Not really pleasant when the rooms are «fully renovated» We had a really small discount on the room, but not really what we hoped for. Fully understand that countryside hotels struggle with this, but for the price of the hotel this should not be any problem. Pool was really good, and enjoyed this feature. The only thing was the fountain in the pool was quite «loud» and disturbing going on the whole day. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay, and thanks for the wonderful sunsets!

La Chiusa is beautiful, staff are very nice and the location fantastic; views from the property and situated next to Montifollonico with access to grocery store, pharmacy and super local restaurant (13 Gobbi). Rooms had a fridge but no kettle, coffee maker or even cups or glasses which was odd and would make a big positive difference so that you can make a hot drink or sip your own wine while enjoying the view! If you’re a foodie you will love the onsite restaurant, but it is a limited menu so a couple of visits will get you through it, but there is so much within sprucing distance you’ll want to get out anyway - so hire a car.
