I like the location and that you could see the hotel easily from the road, so it was easy to find. However, we did not have Wi-Fi all week, and we had to use a lot of data. I would not have stayed there had I known the Wi-Fi issue. I asked about it every day, and I was told that they were having issues and would restart it. Very disappointing! Would not stay there again.

Overall, check in was good with a friendly staff member. No bar of soap was in the room at check in but I ended up buying some hand soap. Interesting place, 10 flooors with a owning residents, airbnb, hotels. The place was clean and had working items, coffee maker, fridge, iron/board, etc. I'd upgrade the shower heads, towels, and the building I know is older but some freshener in the hall would be awesome. Overall, very clean. Fitness gym is better than most hotels. Check out with an employee that could work on his professional demeanor but didn't ruin my day. I'd probably stay again.

In this day and age with so many options to get to the internet. This hotel decided to go with who ever is the most unreliable, off more times then it is on, slow to non-existent, joke of a service. If you can't provide simple daily Internet service to your paying guests. Why are you in this business in the first place?????????? Never Again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Property is good and we love the pool as well the water in the pool is murky and dirty though needs to be cleaned better the food options are pretty gross it was served to us cold it's not very much of a good option even though they say it's free and they don't have no air conditioning but it is clean and stuff is friendly

We live 40 miles from this property but wanted to come here to view the 4th of July fireworks. Even though we were on the second floor, the balcony view worked out fine. The mattress was fantastic. We had a great night's sleep. The heating and A/C is centralized, but there is an output fan in the room that you can adjust. We turned it off, but the air bleed was just enough to keep the room at a good temperature. The oversized outdoor pool was immaculately clean and obviously heated. The bathroom was small, the towels rough, and the shower needed grab bars. Since this is a 12 story building with residence on the upper floor the hotel has three top notch Otis elevators. The property is very tastefully landscaped and nearly like a park. Pop for the upgraded room so you face West for the mountain view and avoid the East side noise from Academy Blvd. For a 50 year old building it is obvious that money is being spent on it. The staff is great. This is a great value and a surprisingly good experience.

Interesting setup. Condos, hotel rooms and shops in a high rise building. Room was small, queen bed, easy chair, desk chair, refrigerator. Older building. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Air conditioner was good but you need to turn the fan on in a separate location for it to cool. Excellent cafe breakfast, made fresh, with table service. No menu choices, but really didnt need it. The cafe was no longer avaliable for (included) breakfast our last day there. Continental breakfast in a conference room that day. Not sure what happened. Toaster, microwave and refrigerator brand new, with pastries and microwave breakfast sandwiches. Parking was not easy. We had a commercial oversized van so we had to park on the fringes.

The staff was all very nice especially the restaurant owner , the pool was amazing and they had the crew out cleaning it every morning at 7am when i went outside to drink coffee. We had a very comfy bed as well. And the price is doable . We will definitely come back we stayed a week on our vacation.

Just needed a night to stay before departing CO Springs. Reviews said this was a great hotel. Upon walking in, it was definitely dated, ok no problem, get checked in and go to my room to find it had not been cleaned took photos and went back down to the front desk. The receptionist apologized and referenced putting me in an upgraded zing suite for my troubles. I walk into the new room and it’s “cleaned” but severely outdated and smells old and musty. The bathroom was also outdated and had a terrible smell associated as well. The old room that wasn’t cleaned was more updated than the one they moved me to. As I walked down the hallway there were doors damaged and one with a big hole as if it were kicked in. This hotel gave me a very uncomfortable and unsettling feeling.

My husband and I had to find a hotel in CO Springs at the last minute, and after reading a few mixed reviews online about the Satellite Hotel, we decided to stop to see if rooms were available. They were almost sold out, but we were able to get a standard room. All we cared about was its cleanliness. The hotel is older, but parking was plentiful, and the room was very clean. The construction of the hotel is solid, so you could not hear people stomping down the hallway, like you can in other hotels. The bed was firm, sheets were clean, bathroom was very clean. Overall, I liked the overnight stay, and would definitely stay again.

The room was nice, well laid out with lots of places to put your things. Bed was comfortable. Cable TV. There didn’t seem to be any air conditioning, a fan over the balcony door didn’t work. We were able to get cool air by opening the balcony door. The shower control was broken, we managed to get it to work with much trouble. We reported it, but it was not fixed during our 3 day stay,

The view from the room was awesome. I stayed on the 4th floor. AC worked great. Had a microwave and a mini fridge in the spacious and clean room, and a balcony. Lots of services on the 1st floor and a pool. Electricity plugs were conveniently located.

Front desk staff was the best! Enjoyed the pool, the room was spacious with a balcony. Admittedly, still need some renovation to bring it into modern- but overall a respoonsive, clean, safe, and fantastic hotel. Will stay again our next time in Colorado Springs.

What I liked the most was I was on the 3rd floor with a balcony and I could leave the sliding glass door open all night and get fresh air. Loved it. Also, clean room and linens and comfy bed. I also need to say that when I arrived I found I had really messed up my booking and brighton (the man at the front desk) REALLY helped me out. So, great staff. Will stay thete again.

The staff at Satellite Hotel were very helpful and friendly, helping as out with the extended stay we needed. Our room was clean and our bed and pillows were so comfortable! One of the best hotel beds I have ever slept on !! Misty Hackbarth, the Executive Assistant and Kay the front desk attendant were so helpful with our accommodations!

Booked a stay for two nights (Fri & Sat). Our flight was delayed Fri night, so we weren't able to arrive until Saturday. Upon arrival, I was "greeted" by a man that seemed as if he was inconvenienced to be doing his job. I asked to check-in to our room and was giving a "ROOM WONT BE READY UNTIL 3p!" response. I explained that we actually had already prepaid for the prior evening's room and had flight delays. To my understanding, my room should have been vacant and available 24 hours before this...yet, it still wasn't ready? The front desk agent literally yelled at me and said once again, "IT WON'T BE READY UNTIL 3P". It was 10a and snowing outside. Where were me and my wife supposed to go for FIVE HOURS to wait with all our luggage? The property's lobby was filthy and staff's attitudes were absolutely unacceptable. Needless to say, we were forced to check-in another hotel because of these issues and pay out-of-pocket for another night. I DEMAND A REFUND for this property, immediately. I have never been treated so heinously when simplying trying to explain my situation. Especially after paying good money ahead of time! Please, immediately fire your weekend lobby staff. I await my refund in full. Thank you.

Upon arrival, I was "greeted" by a man that seemed as if he was inconvenienced to be doing his job. I asked to check-in to our room and was giving a "ROOM WONT BE READY UNTIL 3p!" response. I explained that we actually had already prepaid for the prior evening's room and had flight delays. To my understanding, my room should have been vacant and available 24 hours before this...yet, it still wasn't ready? The front desk agent literally yelled at me and said once again, "IT WON'T BE READY UNTIL 3P". It was 10a and snowing outside. Where were me and my wife supposed to go for FIVE HOURS to wait with all our luggage? The property's lobby was filthy and staff's attitudes were absolutely unacceptable. Needless to say, we were forced to check-in another hotel because of these issues and pay out-of-pocket for another night. I DEMAND A REFUND for this property, immediately. I have never been treated so heinously when simplying trying to explain my situation. Especially after paying good money ahead of time! Please, immediately fire your weekend lobby staff. I await my refund in full. Thank you.

I got charged for an extra night for checking out 8 minutes late. Do these people not understand it takes time to get to an elevator and then get downstairs? Was out of my room at exactly checkout time. Plus I had to wait for the attendant when I got down to the front desk to check out. The online checkout wouldn’t work either saying it couldn’t charge my card even though I’d already paid through Expedia. On top of this, when I got there it took 15 minutes for the attendant to check me in last night. Overall horrible customer service, don’t stay here

Great staff! Vanessa helped us out a lot. The Satellite is a great but aging hotel. We had an issue or 2 but the response time to fix us up was immediate. This is a great place for economy and comfort. Pet lovers will love it. A great ground for dogs to play. Owners were respectful and took care of the business. The balcony is a plus. I don't think there is another hotel in the vicinity that has balconies.For the money this is a great spot.

The Customer Service Rep that was there on Friday when we checked in was so polite and friendly. I had two encounters with the gentleman who was there on Saturday and he had very poor customer service skills. I came to the front desk and said "Good Morning, how are you". His response was "what do you need". I asked him where I could get decaf coffee and he replied the restaurant; which did not have decaf. He needs a little polishing.

It took literally 2 hours from the time I checked-in at the front desk to getting in my Room. The Rook key didn't work. And the next hours unfolded with failed effort after failed effort to get their system to work while I waited in the lobby. It wasn't clear whether or not it would ever work with their "new System." Front Desk Clerk was truly trying heartfully, but it was sickening that they couldn't get me in a room until 2 hours later. Expedia was no help on the phone. It was a paradox because I was already checked-in but couldn't get in my room. Finally, I got in a room, losing 2 hours of what I had otherwise planned to do.

I was not aware the property was primarily condos. The lobby was outdated and loud. Paid about $90 for the room, but was going to have $250 hold out on my card. Parking was an issue. As a solo traveler, walking from the back and across a large parking lot left me feeling uneasy. I ended up not staying.

When we first arrived, we were very skeptical. My wife, who is from Japan, noted that this Condo/Hotel hybrid looked like a Japanese apartment complex. The staff was friendly and the rooms, though dated, were nice. This had the vibe of an old Las Vegas hotel, with a 1970's aesthetic. This being said, it was well-ran and even had a decent restaurant in it that was open from 7AM - 1PM. For the price, this was actually excellent and we ended up really enjoying our stay here. A pleasant surprise overall!

The room was clean and the Air Conditioner worked great. The Hotel Property is outdated and is used a permanent residences by quite a few inhabitants. This area of town did not have a lot going on as far as restaurants or attractions. The weekend I was there this was much cheaper than other options in better parts of town. I am not unhappy with my stay as it was a business trip. If I were there for vacation with family I would choose a better part of town to stay in.

We live 40 miles from this property but wanted to come here to view the 4th of July fireworks. Even though we were on the second floor, the balcony view worked out fine. The mattress was fantastic. We had a great night's sleep. The heating and A/C is centralized, but there is an output fan in the room that you can adjust. We turned it off, but the air bleed was just enough to keep the room at a good temperature. The oversized outdoor pool was immaculately clean and obviously heated. The bathroom was small, the towels rough, and the shower needed grab bars. Since this is a 12 story building with residence on the upper floor the hotel has three top notch Otis elevators. The property is very tastefully landscaped and nearly like a park. Pop for the upgraded room so you face West for the mountain view and avoid the East side noise from Academy Blvd. For a 50 year old building it is obvious that money is being spent on it. The staff is great. This is a great value and a surprisingly good experience.

Really enjoyed the stay here! Definitely will go back! The owner of the restraunt made us a really nice breakfast. She was very polite and we had an awesome conversation that I appreciated. Thanks for making our stay in Colorado awesome. The gentleman that checked us in was also really nice. My daughter was very tired as we climbed up a mountain. He was so kind to her.

For the price, the place was excellent. I read other reviews before my stay that had me worried about the A/C so we got a fan from Walmart just in case. The A/C turned out ok even though we like to sleep in freezing temps. The staff was awesome. The breakfast at the orbit diner downstairs was awesome. The bed was comfortable and clean and though we didn't swim, the pool area was really nice and clean. When we return to Colorado we will definitely be staying at the Satellite again.

Friendly atmosphere. The young man in the coffee shop was delightful. I loved the coffee shop options for breakfast! Our room was comfortable and I loved the balcony and screen door so you could enjoy the fresh air.

The breakfast at Orbit was amazing. Tina, Ethan, and the cook were great. Compliments to the chef! Overall very friendly staff, minus the day I tried checking in early. Young white short guy on Thursday behind check in counter at 1pm was pretty rude when I asked for early check in. Lots of attitude from him about it. Really was no need for him to be that way. So I waited till 5:30 to come back and check in. The young lady then was very nice, knowledgeable, helpful, and polite.

Property is good and we love the pool as well the water in the pool is murky and dirty though needs to be cleaned better the food options are pretty gross it was served to us cold it's not very much of a good option even though they say it's free and they don't have no air conditioning but it is clean and stuff is friendly

Interesting setup. Condos, hotel rooms and shops in a high rise building. Room was small, queen bed, easy chair, desk chair, refrigerator. Older building. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Air conditioner was good but you need to turn the fan on in a separate location for it to cool. Excellent cafe breakfast, made fresh, with table service. No menu choices, but really didnt need it. The cafe was no longer avaliable for (included) breakfast our last day there. Continental breakfast in a conference room that day. Not sure what happened. Toaster, microwave and refrigerator brand new, with pastries and microwave breakfast sandwiches. Parking was not easy. We had a commercial oversized van so we had to park on the fringes.

Soon as we drove in it looked very sketchy. Looks like it’s a residential property besides being a hotel. When checking in there was a guy talking smack at the staff calling them gay slurs. Staff guy was professional. It appears that guy was a resident. There were also sketchy people outside sitting on a bench by entrance. Room was clean it’s ok lil outdated. Free breakfast was good not buffet but freshly made.

This is a terribly outdated "hotel". We arrived in early October to a room that was 90 degrees and had ripped carpet/curtains. We assumed the AC was out of order and spoke to the front desk clerk. He explained the AC to ALL THE ROOMS had been turned off in anticipation of the coming winter weather. The outdoor weather was 80 - 85 degrees every day we were there. He gave us a fan and told us to open the sliding glass door. We opened the sliding glass door AND the front door to the hallway to ventilate the room. The temperature never went below 86. We spoke to Hotels.com and asked to transfer our reservations. We were told there was nothing Hotels.com could do. We got out of there as soon as possible. This place should not be listed at all. And, will not be using Hotels.com again.

Room was very spacious and extremely cheap so good value. Bed was comfy, water pressure was good. I would definitely recommend going to the restaurant downstairs at Jay’s Soul Food, it was delicious & the owners were very welcoming! The rooms were updated, but still had some older features but a very comfortable stay overall

This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. When we arrived it was pleasant looking at first. The man that checked us in was simi pleasant at first. The room was hot after signing all the paper work and getting the key is when he told us oh by the way the ac was off for the season 😳 felt like this should have been disclosed before signing anything. The pool was also not usable after having a convo with my person he made a whipping sound as a joke that we didn’t find funny or amusing. The balcony was very dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Only positive was the room was actually clean. Customer service was horrible!!
