The staff was amazing always willing to accommodate and be helpful. The communal areas were warm and welcoming. The pool was larger than expected which was nice lots of seating around it and a fire pit. The gym had everything you could possibly think of and a yoga studio. I will definitely stay here again but also try different locations in California and around the world.

The best things about the hotel was games and a big pool. The pool was outside and not very warm. They were very friendly. They are very much into recycling that they did not have a regular trash can in the room. You can buy food but the breakfast was not very much. The sidewalk was not the best. They also forgot to give me a washcloth. The plants were nice. The gym was nice too.

Not bad but not great. The photos make it look nicer than what it is. Pool was nice, lobby and gym were nice. The room we had faced a dumpster and we decided not to park in the back because it didn’t seem secure. The room was clean but the windows made it look dirty. The bathroom door was a barn door so it doesn’t completely shut for privacy. Bed was comply. I hope they change their mind on when to put on coffee, people passing through tend to start their day before 6:30 am, the coffee could have been brewing while the staff was snuggling on the couch.

The pictures are a bit deceiving. The lobby area was nice, the employees at check-in were friendly and fun to talk to while we enjoyed our complimentary beer. But it was very clear that the hotel was once a very worn down motel that they were trying to remodel but still seemed worn down in many areas. The beds were comfortable and we liked the overall vibe of the rooms. We wish we would have had a mountain view outside of our room but it is a nice view of them from the front of the hotel. Our kids did enjoy the outdoor pool. The continental breakfast did not have many options and we really wish they had an ice machine. Overall it was fine for our short stay but we would not stay here again.

The elevator was down our entire stay which is the only reason I gave 3 stars. Aside from that our stay was amazing! The room was clean, the facility was clean and we had no complaints.

The hotel overall was nice. If you’re looking for something fancy this is not it. My complaints are the workout facilities are not as they advertised. The workout room only had 1 treadmill and it was broke. They didn’t have a large selection of weights, the bikes and elliptical were dirty. There were no cleaning wipes to sanitize equipment before or after use. My other issue is I stayed for 5 days and housekeeping never came to our room, even after requesting for more toilet paper as we had run out and started using kleenex, fresh towels would have been nice as well. The air conditioner also went out of order for half a day and when the sun was facing your room the room felt warm.

I love the fitness center. Definitely the best I've ever used at a hotel. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is very close to stores and restaurants. Also loved the large common room with couches, televisions, tables, pool table, breakfast room, and work areas (that they allowed us to use daily for work/meetings). We didn't use it, but the pool area is lovely. This is a very affordable and earth friendly hotel. Definitely our favorite place to stay in Colorado Springs!

Great little hotel! Very clean, customer service was excellent. All of the games, pool table, bar, etc are just fantastic - it's a really cool vibe. Unfortunately the AC was out and we checked out a couple of days early because of it. The staff was incredibly understanding and immediately refunded our $$. Would definitely stay there again.

The pool was empty (no water). The elevator didn't work. The air conditioning did not work so the room was over 80 degrees at night. I've read that others were provided with fans for their rooms. I was not offered, nor provided one. No ice machines, you have to ask for ice at the bar (someone in recovery shouldnt have to go to a bar). The floors and walls had what looked to be dried ice cream on them and we didn't eat ice cream.

When I arrived, the front desk staff informed me water would be shut off at 9:30am the next morning. I had not been informed of this prior to booking or arriving and would not have booked here had I known that. In the morning, I received a text from the property that the water shutoff would actually be at 9am. Room itself was alright, a bit dirty with yellowing comforters that clearly hadn’t been washed in a long time. The bathroom door also doesn’t truly close/shut so I am very glad I was staying here alone.

Room floor and walls were very dirty. Although non-smoking, the room smelled of cigarettes, when it was brought to front desk's attention, I was told to pick up a diffuser and that room will be cleaned next day since no other room was available. Stayed there for the next two days with no room cleaning. Great size rooms, but very dated. Windows that had the 'mountain view' I paid extra for were in fact facing the corridors so I would have a jump scare every time someone passed the room. Def not what I expected.

I truly don’t ever leave reviews- either positive or negative. However, the amount that is charged for these rooms is asinine for what you get. The bathroom tub was dirty and had hair in it, there was no actual trash can, only a bottomless wooden crate with a recycling bin, which was odd. The bedding had a blood stain on it, and the walls looked a bit dirty as well. The most frustrating thing for me though is the fact that I paid in advance for the room, however there is $100 hold on my account and it has still not been released and it’s been about 24 hours since I’ve checked out. I will likely not stay here again unless these things are addressed which, based off of a lot of these reviews I had a similar experience to many.

The MOTEL is very run down with lipstick put on it. You can hear every car that passes on the adjacent road. Half of the lights in our room did not even work. And the icing on the cake.... there was dirty underwear from the previous guests still in the bed.

This is not a 3-star hotel.. As we entered the room, we noticed that the floors were dirty. There was pet hair, dust balls, etc. There was duct tape on the window holding the curtains. We immediately got that uneasy feeling of a dirty room. We checked the beds for bedbugs.. thankfully the sheets and towels were clean. However, the lighting in the room was dark, and everything about the room just felt dirty. The doors open to the outside, so we would hear people in the parking lot or walking the hallways at all hours of the night. The hotel was in a bit of a sketchy area, right next to a mobile home part. SCP - stands for Soul, Community, Planet.. they were very "ecofriendly" so there were no water bottles in the room, no personal toiletries (only big sharable bottles), no bags in the trash. We did not enjoy this hotel, and won't be staying at SCP hotels in the future.

I have never stayed in a dirtier hotel in my life. It was so filthy that my husband and I had to leave mid trip and find a new hotel. My feet were BLACK from the floor. The amount of dust was terrible it was as if they had never been cleaned. The room/hotel is a DIY disaster. The shower leaked all over the floor, there was no shelves in the shower and there were no hooks for the towels. I was going to hang my towel on the door until my husband wiped the door frame and it also came back BLACK from the dirt on the top of it. Don’t be fooled by the lobby, this places in a run down motel dump. The fact that it has 4 stars is truly beyond me.

The hotel itself was very nice, and the staff very friendly, however we had neighbors who were arguing and yelling at each other. Kids running around very early in the morning. The air conditioning unit was very loud, and scared us both awake a few times. If you are wanting a quiet place this is not the hotel for you.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice. The breakfast is only muffins and fruit so be prepared for that. Also, they are very serious about people not smoking anywhere on the property and there were several signs that said it would be a $200 fine if caught.

Our kids did enjoy the outdoor pool. The continental breakfast did not have many options and we really wish they had an ice machine. Overall it was fine for our short stay but we would not stay here again.
The pictures are a bit deceiving. The lobby area was nice, the employees at check-in were friendly and fun to talk to while we enjoyed our complimentary beer. But it was very clear that the hotel was once a very worn down motel that they were trying to remodel but still seemed worn down in many areas. The beds were comfortable and we liked the overall vibe of the rooms. We wish we would have had a mountain view outside of our room but it is a nice view of them from the front of the hotel. The beds were surprisingly comfortable for a hotel room. Most places tout a comfortable bed and SCP delivers. The rooms are basic but clean and the space felt inviting. The view of the mountains made it worth it all. Overall vibe is fantastic.

Interesting place. Should be listed as a motel so you are aware that your room will open directly to the outside. Rooms are nice, clean and beds are comfortable. Floors are all hard surface but there is nowhere to dry your shoes off at the door. It’s also very pet friendly which is probably great if you have pets with you, but barking and whining dogs every time you make any noise in your own room gets old fast.

Interesting and hip hotel. Very nice staff, only thing I didn’t care for was how cold my room was and how loud it was where my room was facing. It would have been better to have a room facing the front parking lot over the back. It wasn’t busy the one I night stayed there because there wasn’t many cars so I don’t know why I had a room that was on that side. But overall it was fine for one night. I’d stay again if I had to and the price was reasonable.

Overall the property and room was exactly how the listing promoted it. The only bit of feedback I have is regarding my room. The heater worked but VERY slowly. Took almost 2 days for the room to “heat up”. I was in socks, a sweater and sweatpants the entire time in the room. The rooms lock was also a bit loose. It locked fine, but if the door was pushed on the door would shift/open about 1/2 inch or so. All in all was pleased with the property and staff with it being my first time visiting CO Springs.

Nice quiet stay, bad thing the bathroom door was a farm style door and didn’t even cover the whole door, no privacy. The free breakfast was the worst I’ve ever encountered. Yogurt and pastries that’s it. Don’t stay if you want a hearty Free breakfast

There was only one person working the front desk and bar area. We were greeted but then told it would be a few minutes while she finished making drinks. After a long trip, having to stand and wait for 15 minutes to get our keys wasn't ideal.

I love the fitness center. Definitely the best I've ever used at a hotel. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is very close to stores and restaurants. Also loved the large common room with couches, televisions, tables, pool table, breakfast room, and work areas (that they allowed us to use daily for work/meetings). We didn't use it, but the pool area is lovely. This is a very affordable and earth friendly hotel. Definitely our favorite place to stay in Colorado Springs!

The staff was what really sold us on how great our stay was! Nikki and Corynn were absolutely amazing! The beds were super comfy and rooms were very clean! Had a great time in the lobby playing Jenga while having some drinks! Definitely would recommend staying here! We even donated a coffee mug to add to their collection! Thanks again to my girls for making our stay so much fun! :)

Lounge area was fun. The bedding needed another look from housekeeping, the duvet on one of the beds looked unwashed. Location was not an area of town to be walking around but they kept the property secure. Overall I appreciate updating something old and giving it new life. I like a cool funky atmosphere. If you are like-minded you will enjoy it but if you're looking for fancy and high maintenance, probably not a stay you would like.

It was overall a cool place. There is no signage and we were confused on where to check in. The room was pretty clean other than the windows. The outside looks a little rundown but once you walk inside it's nice enough. The bar provides a welcome drink which is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable! The free breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but at least there was some fruit. My only big complaint is the air conditioning did not work. The fan was going but the room never cooled.

I found this hotel on TikTok and booked it through Travelocity. The price was great for the quality of the property. We checked in on Monday and checked out on Friday. The first two days there were 3 homeless people living in their vehicles on the street in front of the hotel which made me uneasy. Also, there are rooms attached to the check in building that would consider it a hotel. However, our rooms were in a different building that wasn’t attached to the check in building, that was a motel room which was spectacular. The rooms was very clean and modernized. I loved the soap, shampoo and conditioner that was complimentary. They also had lotion. The check in building was very nice. They had a lounge area, bar, pool table, checkers, and more games. The staff in front very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again. We were 10-12 minutes away from shopping and eating out. Everything was avarage there was only 2 things. Solo traveler and didn’t like that my room was not connected to lobby. On cold Days last thing you want is to walk in the cold. And the area it was in was a bit unsafe looking.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice. The breakfast is only muffins and fruit so be prepared for that. Also, they are very serious about people not smoking anywhere on the property and there were several signs that said it would be a $200 fine if caught.

I’m not sure what entails it as VIP access?? Would stay again- all though the property kind of looked sketch and location- the remodel and price is hard to beat. Was clean, friendly staff, close to a lot of CO springs activities. The only down side which isn’t even that bad is they said breakfast was included and it was, but only had muffins, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea. Which is great for me and my husband but the kids options were lacking. I know their vision is healthy, which I appreciate and thought it is a great vision- just wish there was more breakfast options and more coffee options (I.e. creamers, organic sugars, to go coffee cups). But don’t like the breakfast steer you away from this hotel. It was perfect for my me, my husband, and 2 kid (12 & 8 years old). Free WiFi a plus!!!! Beds comfy, good customer communication and service. Close to all the activities we did- zoo, walked manitou, cave of the winds, dwellings and garden of the gods.

I saw this property on Expedia and wanted to check it out when traveling through Colorado Springs. It was very comfortable and has a cool unique vibe. I didn't have time to check out the swimming pool or gym but they had terrific coffee and offered breakfast muffins and yogurt for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again in the furore.

Rooms were decent enough to sleep, although there were cobwebs on the ceiling, dirt in the corners, drywall on ceiling was bubbled/ falling off, balcony cat walk was uneven, cement was coming off the sidewalks, the stairs were uneven and chipping and made with different materials, weeds everywhere! It looks like the front of the property is better maintaine than the back of the hotel. I will not stay here again.Pictures on website are misleading!

Very difficult to get into due to the construction on the road out front. Our room door had been pried open and was broken, we reported it to the front desk and they gave us a new room with an unbroken door. Breakfast the girl took all the breakfast items out of the display cabinet and we had nothing to eat , very strange
