We book this cabin for our teenage daughter’s birthday. We loved it so much we can’t wait to come back in the spring. A short but beautiful drive to town. My wife and daughters couldn’t stop playing the arcade game. Just amazing

My 3 daughters and I rented Dancing Bear cabin 4/4-4/7/24. Of course I loved it online, but it exceeded all my expectations upon walking through the front door, scratch that, upon pulling in the driveway. The cute front porch swing and rockers were so inviting. This cabin was so very clean, very spacious (for us plus 2 doggies), the decor was beautiful, and I loved finding the lil bears on the fireplace and in the kitchen.They absolutely thought of everything. It was like picking up everything I needed from home and bringing it with me. Anything you could possibly need in the kitchen is there. There was even plenty of firewood for the firepit. The hot tub was AMAZING! We were in it everynight. Very relaxing. We didnt even leave the cabin the 1st day and a half except to go to the grocery store. Everything you need is within a short distance. I almost forgot, we were sent a welcoming text from the owners letting us know all the basics but they also included places to eat and things to see. A huge shout out and BIG thank you to the owners for offering such a wonderul place to call "home" when you\'re away from home. I have rented quite a few VRBO\'s and this one is by far my Favorite! We will be booking again! 5 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Dancing Bear cabin in Deep Gap! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We loved the cabin and secluded location. The hot tub and Ms. Pac-Man table were the biggest hits. We will be back!

Overall impression was amazing! The right getaway to celebrate each other after 9 years together! This cabin had everything you could ever want for that special getaway! From the beautiful Mountain View to the gentle relaxation of the hot tub on the back porch! This is a must place to book! Would definitely go again!

This cabin provided a very private secluded feel, yet was located close to numerous towns, restaurants, and family outdoor activity options. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway was a short drive. The cabin was very clean and provided a very cozy, comfortable place. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The grand kids loved the loft sleeping area with games, stuffed animals and the arcade machine. The hot tub was fantastic! We also enjoyed spending time on the front porch with its swing and glider chairs. The commercial gas grill was great for cooking. All of us had a great time at the cabin. We look forward to returning.

This cabin was wonderful! We were given lots of information about the area before we arrived. Everything was clean (including the hot tub), the beds were comfy, and the location was peaceful and perfect. We also really appreciated the paved "driveway" and paved parking - it made everything so easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Our host was absolutely amazing! Anytime I had a question she responded right away. She gave us great places to go and check out. Left information in the fridge about the trash which was very helpful. She was so nice and friendly! I have never had a host be that great before! The cabin was beautiful. It was in a great location. Very private but not so private that you feel like you are out in the middleOf nowhere. It was very easy to access. My son enjoyed the hot tub that was one of the main necessities for our trip. We got in it every night! It was just perfect. We loved everything about it!I loved the decorations in the cabin, very homey and cozy. It was like home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back next year and be able to book this place again. I highly recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed. Thanks again to the host for being so accommodating and availableIf we needed you!

House is as pictures portrayed. Clean, comfortable layout with hot tub and swing on front porch. Perfect for a couple or family of 5. Quality kitchen ware plus plenty of spices, paper towels, detergents. house is on level property once you manage the steep driveway. I would suggest keeping the code to the key on paper as our Verizon showed no service once up the hill. We drove back down to the road and was able to pull up the instruction message once we had service. Management responded quickly. The Internet worked great. Secluded but close to highway and attractions.

Just spent 3 nights in this lovely cabin. Very comfortable and clean with everything you need in the kitchen along with internet access. Even though it rained the majority of the time were there, we still enjoyed having some down time to read and play with the dogs. It is a little remote, so take groceries. Very close to hiking and Blue Ridge Parkway. Lots of wildlife around, including a bear that showed up the morning before we arrived, but we did not see it while we there. Highly recommend if you are looking for a family cabin or just for a couple. Very quiet and relaxing venue.

We had a wonderful time at the Dancing Bear! We were close to amazing hikes and visited Boone and Blowing Rock. The house was stocked with everything you could need. It was by far one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The hot tub was a favorite after hikes and pickleball. We highly recommend.

We have stayed in a lot of rental homes. This was by far the best of the best. It is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The owner is VERY responsive. There was a little problem with the hot tub. She had the caretakers there first thing in the morning. She checked throughout our stay to make sure everything was good. We will be going back. Please don't hesitate to put this cabin on your list. We highly reccoment It

We had such a wonderful four day stay at the Dancing Bear. Such a clean place you can sit back and relax in. It is spacious, yet cozy! The hot tub was a plus as the weather was cooler in the evening. It was also very clean and well kept! We had everything we needed to make it feel like home away from home. We ventured out and visited West Jefferson, Boone, and Blowing Rock during our stay and all were easy to get to. Part of the Blue ridge parkway was closed for repair so we couldn’t get so some of the closer hikes but we made it work by going to Blowing Rock. Steep driveway but good info in the description to warn about it (and totally expected in the mountains, right?) Overall, such a perfect place for our spring break getaway.

We had a wonderful, quiet, relaxing time at this mountain cabin getaway. It was clean and comfortable for our family of six, and the property matched the photos and description. (No surprises.) The host was attentive and easy to work with. We will definitely consider staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, stocked and well equipped. I only wish there were a king bed in master but I completely knew it was a queen based on listing and would stay here again. It is very private and you are completely alone but close to Boone, Blowing Rock and the Parkway. We enjoyed the hottub and video games and the beautiful nature. The road to the cabin is a thick gravel road so tires spin easily on a hair pin turn which can be a little scary but it's fine once you're in the driveway. Driveway is pretty flat and perfect. We hope to come back soon with our children. Owners are super easy to communicate with.

We had cellular Verizon and no reception until we connected to Internet so I suggest you keep the code to the entry lockbox somewhere other than your phone. Communication with the owner is excellent. You won't be disappointed in choosing this cabin.

My 3 daughters and I rented Dancing Bear cabin 4/4-4/7/24. Of course I loved it online, but it exceeded all my expectations upon walking through the front door, scratch that, upon pulling in the driveway. The cute front porch swing and rockers were so inviting. This cabin was so very clean, very spacious (for us plus 2 doggies), the decor was beautiful, and I loved finding the lil bears on the fireplace and in the kitchen.They absolutely thought of everything. It was like picking up everything I needed from home and bringing it with me. Anything you could possibly need in the kitchen is there. There was even plenty of firewood for the firepit. The hot tub was AMAZING! We were in it everynight. Very relaxing. We didnt even leave the cabin the 1st day and a half except to go to the grocery store. Everything you need is within a short distance. I almost forgot, we were sent a welcoming text from the owners letting us know all the basics but they also included places to eat and things to see. Just spent 3 nights in this lovely cabin. Very comfortable and clean with everything you need in the kitchen along with internet access. Even though it rained the majority of the time were there, we still enjoyed having some down time to read and play with the dogs. It is a little remote, so take groceries. Very close to hiking and Blue Ridge Parkway. Lots of wildlife around, including a bear that showed up the morning before we arrived, but we did not see it while we there. Highly recommend if you are looking for a family cabin or just for a couple. Very quiet and relaxing venue.

Overall impression was amazing! The right getaway to celebrate each other after 9 years together! This cabin had everything you could ever want for that special getaway! From the beautiful Mountain View to the gentle relaxation of the hot tub on the back porch! This is a must place to book! Would definitely go again!

My husband and I and our adult daughter and friend stayed in this adorable cabin for the weekend. It is very well-stocked and decorated and the beds are especially comfortable! The owners are super nice, and have excellent communication. Highly recommend.

This cabin was wonderful! We were given lots of information about the area before we arrived. Everything was clean (including the hot tub), the beds were comfy, and the location was peaceful and perfect. We also really appreciated the paved "driveway" and paved parking - it made everything so easy. I would definitely stay here again.

House is as pictures portrayed. Clean, comfortable layout with hot tub and swing on front porch. Perfect for a couple or family of 5. Quality kitchen ware plus plenty of spices, paper towels, detergents. house is on level property once you manage the steep driveway. I would suggest keeping the code to the key on paper as our Verizon showed no service once up the hill. We drove back down to the road and was able to pull up the instruction message once we had service. Management responded quickly. The Internet worked great. Secluded but close to highway and attractions.

Cabin is perfect for a couple or a family of 5. Owner has generously supplied staples, paper towels, toilet paper and even towels for the hot tub. Clean and comfortable. There is a steep driveway. We had cellular Verizon and no reception until we connected to Internet so I suggest you keep the code to the entry lockbox somewhere other than your phone. Communication with the owner is excellent. You won't be disappointed in choosing this cabin.

My 3 daughters and I rented Dancing Bear cabin 4/4-4/7/24. Of course I loved it online, but it exceeded all my expectations upon walking through the front door, scratch that, upon pulling in the driveway. The cute front porch swing and rockers were so inviting. This cabin was so very clean, very spacious (for us plus 2 doggies), the decor was beautiful, and I loved finding the lil bears on the fireplace and in the kitchen.They absolutely thought of everything. It was like picking up everything I needed from home and bringing it with me. Anything you could possibly need in the kitchen is there. There was even plenty of firewood for the firepit. The hot tub was AMAZING! We were in it everynight. Very relaxing. We didnt even leave the cabin the 1st day and a half except to go to the grocery store. We have stayed in a lot of rental homes. This was by far the best of the best. It is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The owner is VERY responsive. There was a little problem with the hot tub. She had the caretakers there first thing in the morning. She checked throughout our stay to make sure everything was good. We will be going back. Please don't hesitate to put this cabin on your list. We highly reccoment It

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Dancing Bear cabin in Deep Gap! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We loved the cabin and secluded location. The hot tub and Ms. Pac-Man table were the biggest hits. We will be back!

Our host was absolutely amazing! Anytime I had a question she responded right away. She gave us great places to go and check out. Left information in the fridge about the trash which was very helpful. She was so nice and friendly! I have never had a host be that great before! The cabin was beautiful. It was in a great location. Very private but not so private that you feel like you are out in the middleOf nowhere. It was very easy to access. My son enjoyed the hot tub that was one of the main necessities for our trip. We got in it every night! It was just perfect. We loved everything about it!I loved the decorations in the cabin, very homey and cozy. It was like home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back next year and be able to book this place again. I highly recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed. Thanks again to the host for being so accommodating and availableIf we needed you!

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, stocked and well equipped. I only wish there were a king bed in master but I completely knew it was a queen based on listing and would stay here again. It is very private and you are completely alone but close to Boone, Blowing Rock and the Parkway. We enjoyed the hottub and video games and the beautiful nature. The road to the cabin is a thick gravel road so tires spin easily on a hair pin turn which can be a little scary but it's fine once you're in the driveway. Driveway is pretty flat and perfect. We hope to come back soon with our children. Owners are super easy to communicate with.

My wife and I needed a vacation and decided to visit the mountains of NC. We choose the Boone area since friends of mine reccomended it. The good: The cabin its self was very clean and cozy for the two of us, although there is enough room for a family of 4-6 to sleep comfortably. The hot tub was very relaxing and nice when the temp was below freezing. The cabin is secluded and very private, which is nice compared to other areas. You\'re far away enough from Boone that there is minimal traffic but still close enough that you could get there in about 20 minutes. The owner of the property reached out and offered information about where to eat and visit while we were in town. The "eh": The roads used to access the area are narrow with lots of twists and turns. This isn\'t necessarily bad, but if you\'re not use to driving down these types of roads, it can be intimidating. The driveway to the cabin is very steep as well, so making it up in the winter months can be challenging. Overall we enjoyed our trip and will defiently look towards return in the future.

This cabin provided a very private secluded feel, yet was located close to numerous towns, restaurants, and family outdoor activity options. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway was a short drive. The cabin was very clean and provided a very cozy, comfortable place. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The grand kids loved the loft sleeping area with games, stuffed animals and the arcade machine. The hot tub was fantastic! We also enjoyed spending time on the front porch with its swing and glider chairs. The commercial gas grill was great for cooking. All of us had a great time at the cabin. We look forward to returning.

We had such a wonderful four day stay at the Dancing Bear. Such a clean place you can sit back and relax in. It is spacious, yet cozy! The hot tub was a plus as the weather was cooler in the evening. It was also very clean and well kept! We had everything we needed to make it feel like home away from home. We ventured out and visited West Jefferson, Boone, and Blowing Rock during our stay and all were easy to get to. Part of the Blue ridge parkway was closed for repair so we couldn’t get so some of the closer hikes but we made it work by going to Blowing Rock. Steep driveway but good info in the description to warn about it (and totally expected in the mountains, right?) Overall, such a perfect place for our spring break getaway.

Amazing Experience! The host was always there to help in any way she could and went above and beyond expectations. The cabin was beautiful, firewood fully stocked, hot tube worked well, and everything was very clean. Will definitely be back next year!

Our host was absolutely amazing! Anytime I had a question she responded right away. She gave us great places to go and check out. Left information in the fridge about the trash which was very helpful. She was so nice and friendly! I have never had a host be that great before! The cabin was beautiful. It was in a great location. Very private but not so private that you feel like you are out in the middleOf nowhere. It was very easy to access. My son enjoyed the hot tub that was one of the main necessities for our trip. We got in it every night! It was just perfect. We loved everything about it!I loved the decorations in the cabin, very homey and cozy. It was like home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back next year and be able to book this place again. I highly recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed. Thanks again to the host for being so accommodating and availableIf we needed you!
