Days Inn by Wyndham Sarasota Bay

First room they put me in on first floor was gross. It smelled so bad. But 2nd floor room they moved me to was like a totally different hotel. Clean smelled good. Towels are rough and limited.

I will never stay there again. The room floor had some dirt on it, the TV is about to go out, for breakfast they only had cereal, the towels were so cheap it hurt to dry myself after a shower, the water pressure in the shower was low, the toilet seat was very loose, the stand between beds would rock back and forth. The elevator did not work, the a/c unit was noisey. Over all not a place i will recommend to anyone

I booked a two night stay at this hotel. I checked in, brought luggage in, everything was fine. The room didnt have an odor, besides a slight smell in the bathroom that was tolerable. I turned on the ac unit to cool down the room and I immediately left to get to an event. I was gone for about 4 hours. I came back with my family, and the room smelled sickening. We could not breathe from the smell of mold/mildew that came from the ac after running it for a while. This wasnt a smell that we could just "deal with". We would get sick if we slept in this overnight, let alone two nights. I informed the staff and they tried to get me to another room. The smell was worse in there without the ac on. It was the only room they had left, so I was offered a refund but I had to call Expedia first. After processing this cancelation, I was told it was only one night refund and the GM would have to approve the second night. Needless to say, after having to find a new hotel at 10pm with two kids and an elderly mother, the GM did not grant the second night refund, given the fact they couldn't accommodate me in a room we wont get sick in. If the GM would have allowed my full refund, everything would have been ok. We ended up at a Quality Inn 25 min away that was so much better. GM of this property - do better. I understand cancelation policies, and I was very polite to your staff, but this wasn't a situation where I changed my mind. This was a health risk. Ethically you should have understood.

Check in en ligne assez simple. Arrivée sur place la chambre était prête. Mais par contre il y avait une flaque d’eau dans le milieu obligé de redescendre pour changer de chambre. La deuxième chambre était OK par contre la salle de bain ce n’est vraiment pas ça. Les taches d’humidité au plafond, la lumière est cassée, pas de ventilation… Nous venons ici pourtant depuis plusieurs années et l’hôtel semble se dégrader au niveau des chambres. Le soir à la piscine(samedi soir) il y avait des gens qui mettaient la musique trop fort. Je ne suis même pas sûr qu’ils soient de l’hôtel car ils sont partis en voiture tard sans revenir à l’hôtel. Et le reste de la nuit il y a des gens bizarres et bruyants qui ne respectent pas les autres. Sinon, piscine est très agréable la journée. Petit déjeuner basique mais suffisant, même si il manque du salé. Pancakes, muffins, bagels, céréales, yahourts. Les quantités de refill sont cependant insuffisantes. Au final, je crois que ça sera notre dernier séjours ici. Les chambres ne sont pas remises à jour, les gens qui traînent le soir sont trop bruyants. Dommage.

La habitación estaba sucia, tenía óxido en todos los herrajes del baño, había un papel de ropa íntima pegado en la puerta del baño. No lo recomiendo
