The room that we had reservations for was dirty, there was a hole in the bathroom wall that had a bad musty smell coming from it. I found a plastic straw with want i assumed was coke in it, which we turned over to the receptionist. The tv didnt work. There were cigarette burns all over the bed spread and stains on the sheets. The pool was dirty and it was closed.

Horribly stay, thank goodness it was for only one night. Booked this hotel for my birthday weekend due to price and pool. Show up pool is closed but refused me a refund only a 10$ discount!! Next morning contential breakfast was very disappointing, coffee maker out of order, no juice, two bagels, 3 pieces of bread, two tiny muffins and nothing to drink, only kids cereal, just went back to room empty handed and to check out. Will never ever stay again and suggest you don’t either.

Reserved 2 room they were 4 rooms apart. Pool was closed. Bathroom light didn't work in one room. Other rooms lamp was rusted and bathroom wall and door was filthy. One room was missing ice bucket also. Wouldn't recommend nor would I come back

The desk clerk checking me in needs to more friendly. Second floor rooms you has walk up steps. No elevator . Which was ok. Last, i want thank the night clerk . He help me jump my car. I went to start and dead battery. He jumped me so i could go get a battery replaced.

It was clean and well priced. I didn't have any issues. There was nothing to make it exceptional, but I was totally satisfied. It had everything I needed for the week. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, telephone. The parking was easy. It was in an area where you could walk to a couple restaurants and convenience stores. It is located near some fast, high traffic roads; my only disappointment was that I didn't feel comfortable jogging there. I was impressed how well the staff cleaned my room. There is no elevator, so I wouldn't recommend it to people with mobility issues.

I’ve stayed in two star hotels before. They’re usually fine. Nothing fancy but good enough. Well honestly, that was not the case here. There was mold on the ceiling by the vent, and on molding on the floor. Dirt was in little mini dust piles in the corners on the floor and the moldings were very dirty. On The ceiling above the bed, sheet rock was majorly sagged. I know it wasn’t going to fall down, but it was still scary to see. Everywhere there was metal, was rusted. The shades barely covered the window at all so there was a bright light shining on us all night. I cleaned up a spill from the floor and the tissue came up black l also washed something gross from the bathroom counter. Overall, it just felt really dirty. We’ve been on a road trip and of the 5 motels this was the worst. PS the toilet and bed sheets were clean.

Very soon after checking in for a two night stay I killed a roach crawling across the floor. Hoped it was a fluke. At 3:00 AM I got up to pee and took my phone with flashlight with me and wore shoes. Killed 3 more roaches. Never went back to sleep. When I got out of bed every small thing left on the floor had a roach under it. Showered and checked out. Asked for a refund for the night we didn’t stay. They refused to give our money back. Aside from this the mattress was completely worn out and there were holes in the drywall behind every doorknob. Terrible property. Do not stay here. I’m surprised Best Western tolerates this.

Rooms need to be updated and cleaned. The bed was horrible and the room smelled funny. They were power washing the facility and we had to move from one room to another due to the water in the room. Even the room we had we had to wipe the floor. The rooms have a funny odor.

Found 2 cockroaches in the room. The main door and bathroom door didn’t even shut all the way. The pillow cases, blankets, and sheets had an awful smell. There were stains on the bed. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the US and this was by far my worst experience ever. I left immediately.

I was appalled at the appearance of room assigned, there were spiderwebs on wall near the door, the chair upon entering to the right of the room was soiled, the bathtub had a soiled ring, the shower curtain was soiled, and there are numerous other concerns.

The toilet was leaking and there isn’t a seal around the door, so you hear everything that happens in the hallway, AC had a musty smell every time it come on.

While the property was obviously well-maintained and the room was clean, we found out after the fact that it has a reputation for being an unsafe area. In addition, the internet provided was horrible. We had to go out in the parking lot to get a decent signal. For the price, it was acceptable, but the old adage "you get what you pay for" certainly applies here.

The Air Conditioner did not work properly. We requested a room change they said they couldn't, so the first night was in misery. Here in Georgia the temps were in the 90's with high humidity and dew points... So at 6:30 the next morning I requested a room change they said they I would have to wait until the other rooms got cleaned. When I came back to the hotel after working all day, I went to the front desk to see if they changed my room. the desk clerk put me on the phone with the manager and the conversation got heated for he said he could not change my room and that they had a repairman check the AC and said it was working, guess what it wasn't. So my wife and I had to spend another night in a hot room. The manager the next day said he went to the room and said I was correct that the AC was not working and let me choose from two rooms. The next two nights we had AC.. The rooms are very old and dingy, and they have a strange smell.. Another guest also complained how hot his room was... I will never stay there again.

I was traveling alone with my two young children and unfortunately had a very unsettling experience. The air conditioning in our first room wasn’t working, so the hotel moved us to another room—which also had AC issues and crumbs in the bed. At that point, I decided it wasn’t worth continuing to switch rooms and tried to make the best of it. However, around 11 p.m., a man attempted to enter our room. It turned out that the employee who had reassigned us earlier never updated the system, and a second employee had unknowingly given our room to another guest. What made the situation even more frightening was that an employee then came to our door late at night, demanding that I open it. This experience was extremely stressful and felt very unsafe, especially as a woman traveling with children. I would not recommend this hotel based on the lack of communication, cleanliness, and disregard for guest security.

The man at the front desk was painfully slow. It was like talking to a statue. One of the restrooms in the lobby was out of service. The second restroom was the worst I've ever seen. Fecal material on the seat and the toilet was full of you know what. Disgusting. I will not be staying there again, ever...

Front Desk Person is Very Nice and Super Helpful

I came into Brunswick late and spent 3 hours trying to find a hotel from Kingsland - Brunswick , everyone was sold out . As I am booking a room at this location it became midnight and the reservation rolled over to the next day online and I ended up booking for the wrong night . I tried to call and speak to someone the next day but was told , too bad no refunds . Then Michelle takes my info and says her manger Kevin would call me back and I could discuss it with him but he won’t do anything about it . I asked her why and her response was because I know how he is and he never gives refunds . I then asked to have the reservation moved to another night that I come to Brunswick 8 times a year . I again was denied . Here it is day 6 and I still haven’t heard from this guy Kevin . With zero regard for their customers and some of the worst customer service I have even experienced I would not recommend this place to anyone !! It already looked like a roach motel but we needed a room for a few hotels to get some sleep and had no other choice . If you have other options I highly suggest you find a different place and not give these people any of your money

Took over an hour to get my reservation...it was made in Jan but was not at hotel when we arrived. Expedia made it right but it was an inconvenience to stand around waiting to get a room ..in fact the clerk kept telling us we could just pay for our room...which had already been paid in full at time of booking. It was finally resolved but really aggravating.

There was no breakfast. And no one at the desk. The only thing I was thinking about was maybe there was an emergency. And the floor in the room I think should be cleaned.

An exceedingly cheery staff and clean room were well appreciated after a long day of driving — and compensated for the somewhat dated facilities. Well worth the attractive room rate.

The desk clerk checking me in needs to more friendly. Second floor rooms you has walk up steps. No elevator . Which was ok. Last, i want thank the night clerk . He help me jump my car. I went to start and dead battery. He jumped me so i could go get a battery replaced.

Do NOT book here. Sleep in your car if that is the only other option. Lousy service. Bad part of town. Literally Brunswick’s worst. Avoid my mistake and go elsewhere. Call the front desk and try to inquire about the facility and you’ll have all you need to know.

It was easy check in and right off the interstate. Our room was nice for a good nights rest to continue our travel. Hotel staff was friendly!

I was in the shower when there was a loud knock on the door. I grabbed a towel, wrapped it around me and answered to my surprise it was a police officer. They were at the hotel the entire night. When i arrived to check in a young man was getting arrested right in front of the office where i was checking in. The officer questioned me about a vehicle that I had no knowledge about. Instead of allowing me to return to my room beings i was in a towel he continued to question me about my vehicle which was a rental and a series of other questions i clearly had no knowledge of. The rest of my stay I was unable to sleep and felt uneasy to leave my room. I actually left early and was not able to get any of my money refunded. Will never go back there again!

Got a king bed and it was extremely comfortable . Very quiet only complaint would be the Hotel behind this one Guest Cottage is very sketchy.

While the property was obviously well-maintained and the room was clean, we found out after the fact that it has a reputation for being an unsafe area. In addition, the internet provided was horrible. We had to go out in the parking lot to get a decent signal. For the price, it was acceptable, but the old adage "you get what you pay for" certainly applies here.

Hotel is decent. The walls were dirty and floors scratched up. Rusty fridge and door knobs on dresser. The beds were comfortable, safe area. Could use a remodel.

It was clean and well priced. I didn't have any issues. There was nothing to make it exceptional, but I was totally satisfied. It had everything I needed for the week. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, telephone. The parking was easy. It was in an area where you could walk to a couple restaurants and convenience stores. It is located near some fast, high traffic roads; my only disappointment was that I didn't feel comfortable jogging there. I was impressed how well the staff cleaned my room. There is no elevator, so I wouldn't recommend it to people with mobility issues.

Upon arrival I noticed it was a bit unkept in the surrounding areas. The property behind the hotel seemed a bit sketchy. Checkin was easy and quick which was nice after an 8 hour drive. The room was in the first floor and was quiet. But apparently they have issues with moisture. Everything that was metal was covered in rust. Lamps, refrigerator, handles on the drawers. The coffee supplied was only decaf and no sugar/creamer. No tissues, just an empty tissue box cover. The bed was comfy tho. But make sure to lock the deadbolt. The housekeeping lady came right in at 930am as my daughter and I were getting ready even though checkout is 11am. For the price of $98 a night I guess I got what I paid for. Probably won't stay there again.

Very good front desk staff. The evening gentleman was fairly new to the area but it would be helpful if he knew more about the restaurants in the immediate area to assist people who are checking in at dinner time. Breakfast was very good. Nice stay at Sure Stay by Best Western.

Tub faucet was half attached. Holes in the walls. Tub and toilet not clean -hairs. Staff knocked on door at 5am. Still don’t know why. Coffee was mostly water.

Horribly stay, thank goodness it was for only one night. Booked this hotel for my birthday weekend due to price and pool. Show up pool is closed but refused me a refund only a 10$ discount!! Next morning contential breakfast was very disappointing, coffee maker out of order, no juice, two bagels, 3 pieces of bread, two tiny muffins and nothing to drink, only kids cereal, just went back to room empty handed and to check out. Will never ever stay again and suggest you don’t either.

The coffee was the worst I have ever tried to drink. But the breakfast was ok. We were told the toaster was not working properly and my husband's bagel did not cook and mine was burnt. Hoy chocolate was good. Bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom was good.

I made a reservation for the Fourth of July weekend Before I made this reservation I called the hotel to check to see if the pool was available…at that time I was told it was…I asked again and was told yes…Friday I check in…drive around the building to take a look at the pool and it was green and extremely cloudy. But, I could of dealt with that…we were going to the beach with family anyway… Friday night we get back to the room get settled from the day and see roaches crawling all over the floor. After we killed them and checked ALL our bags and suitcases…I called down to the front desk explained that we are killing roaches and was told there was NOTHING they could do.. that they didn’t have another room available…he told me I could check out and go down the street.. my first problem is WE HAD ROACHES IN OUR ROOM.. My second problem came when he told us there’s was nothing he can do.. he didn’t even offer to come spray the room… the way the economy is these days..i can’t afford to cancel the room wait 3-5 days for a refund and at the same time go to another hotel on a holiday weekend with holiday rates…I am EXTREMELY devastated that this was apart of my holiday weekend with my family
