The facility was nestle in a very convenient and nice area from the Coliseum. The room was standard and the bed was very comfortable. The outside smelled of urine and the pool was green in color.

Pool was closed. No problem with that. A/C kept the room cool. The bathroom was not acceptable. We found hair in the tub and on the toilet. Used bar of soap above the shower rod. The front desk clerk was not friendly at all. Glad it was only for one night. Days Inn has gone down greatly. It was once my go to place to stay. I’ve been to a couple recently and they are bad now.

It’s a very old facility, looks to be remodeled about 20 years ago or if sooner it hasn’t hasn’t been cared well for. The stairwells rate of urine there is a heavy marijuana smell throughout the hallways. Paint chipping off walls in the room, baseboards, filthy, tub stained. Check-in was good employee was pleasant. Thankful we only had one night here.

The room was really, really gross. Our daughter walked on the floor barefoot and her feet looked liked she walked through ash. There were holes and stains in the sheets & the AC unit was held up with wooden blocks. To top it off there was a domestic argument that lasted from 10pm-7am and we got no sleep. The pool was accessible, which is the only reason I’m adding an extra star. Would not recommend.

I DO NOT recommend this property. I did not reserve this room expecting elegance. However I did expect the room to be clean. This room definitely needed a good cleaning. There was mold growing in the coffee maker water reservoir. The floor was so dirty the bottom of our feet turned black with filth. Some of the wall areas, the baseboards and the doors were disgusting. There were other things about this room/stay that were undesirable however the lack of cleanliness was unacceptable.

The hotel was unappealing. It was not a clean place to stay. The bedding had cigarette burns on them. The floors were filthy. The bathroom towels and wash clothes had stains on them. The room really needs to be updated.

I had kill a roach in the room. The room was not clean. I pulled the night stand out to get to plug and empty bag of chips on the floor. Lobby was dirty with construction. The Lobby was very hot NO AIR-CONDITIONING WORK.. I wand some of my money back on this Stay. This is not good place to stay. I can not make this up. If it was not for the access to good food restaurants around and stores to eat and shop this would not been good.

I booked this hotel by accident, and was intending to book the Best Western next door. Not changing my booking was a huge mistake. When I arrived for check-in, the woman at the front desk instructed me to let them know if I had any problems with the room "within 15 minutes", which I didn't think too much of, and this proved to be my fatal horror movie mistake. After checking in and setting my stuff down, I left again. When I returned for the evening, it was all downhill. I went to take a shower, and there was no shower head. I suffered through my hose-like shower, and then realized there were no towels, no bath mat. After drying off as best I could with the hand towel, I went to charge my phone. I tried all three outlets available, all of which were built-in to the light fixtures, and none of which worked. As a last-ditch attempt to find an outlet, I pulled the nightstand away from the wall were the clock was plugged in, only to discover trash that a previous guest had left behind. Once I was ready for bed and turned all the lights off, I discovered the curtains blocked out less than a majority of the light from outside, which made the room as bright as dawn well into the night. After finally falling asleep, the ancient air conditioning stopped working somewhere along the way and I woke up, hot and irritated.

No bugs thank god, first room smelly with cigarette holes on comforters, got my room changed asap second room bathroom was clean but maintenance had to change bath tube faulcet it was broken, beds were cleaner not the pillows stains smh floors dirty they need to invest with a mop, maintenance had to also replace the ac unit blowing out heat in 86 degree weather he was able to fix it. No issues with staff but they need to clean better and replace them pillows sheets and comforters you know better...

This hotel is in a prime location near the Hampton Coliseum, that being said there are a few issues that need addressing, one urgently! I had read reviews about bugs, but stayed 2 nights and had not encountered any until I read the review, then they came out of nowhere!! Even on the bed which I'm so glad I didn't see until check out day. Unacceptable!! The other issues are with the Internet service, many customers complaining about not being able to connect, and you have to keep connecting seemed like every hour and speed was just not there. The cable TV service is less than desirable, with a lot of stations receiving spotty service or not available. The children's stations/comedy shows seemed to work fine, but not for me.

i was very disappointed. i assumed that since it was by that it would be nice. it was very very run down. looked dirty, horrible water pressure, outlet strip in between beds didn't work, tv got a few channels, bathroom door would not stay closed. overall bad experience. never ever again!

The location was good, just off the main road and close to a lot of things. As I went to sleep early each night, I heard my next door neighbor's TV as if it were in my room and everyone who walked by my door. Two of my hangers were unusable because they wouldn't come off the anti-theft device. It also seemed like only half the hotel was in use.

Checked in on Thursday afternoon customer service was friendly and fast. Went to my room at first glance looked ok then walked through to the bathroom and then was the problems. Spiderwebs. The bathtub was not clean hair in tube and on on toilet. Went out on Friday morning came back to room only to see room service had been there only because the trash was gone but the bed was not made and only one towel was left and more hair in bathtub after cleaning it myself when Checked in Thursday. Left again Saturday morning and came back that night and no room service at all trash still there and again bed not made over all my stay was terrible. Will not stay there again

The front desk woman was completely not friendly and welcoming like you would want in a hotel. It took me over an hour to pay for my room because she kept making an issue out of everything. It’s like I’m trying to give you my money, I’m not asking for anything. I’m just trying to pay, but every single thing was an issue. I would not ever stay here again. Also, the housekeeper as I was leaving I had like four cart loads to take to my car cause I’m in the middle of moving and the housekeeper sees me moving all of the stuff by myself and keeps putting her housekeeping cart and linen cart in the middle of the walkway so every time I walked by with the cart I had to move her stuff so that I could get by and at one point, she actually stood in front of me, and instead of letting me go, proceeded to knock on someone’s door several times and have a conversation with them about whether or not they want housekeeping. Completely rude and unfriendly staff the room was disgusting. I would never stay here again.

Our stay was really good. We just had a issue with the water pressure. We also thought there would have been more towels for 2 ppl, but we made due. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Gave us directions to a few great places for food and drinks!!

Our recent stay was, to put it mildly, an exercise in patience and low expectations. From the moment we arrived, the front desk experience set a concerning tone. The initial desk agent was dismissive and uninterested, barely acknowledging our presence. This lack of engagement continued with the subsequent employee; neither seemed inclined to assist the considerably long line of waiting guests. Our first attempt to address an issue – a scorching hot refrigerator, a concern we tried to report via phone within their stipulated 15-minute window with no success – required another trek back to the desk. When the new shift finally took over, the replacement agent, while addressing us, unfortunately chose to badmouth her predecessor, which was entirely unprofessional and unhelpful. The "service" continued at a glacial pace, a recurring theme throughout our stay. As for breakfast, it was largely non-existent, offering little more than hot water and a few granola bars. Upon finally receiving a replacement for our faulty fridge, we discovered the towels provided were notably stained. Our neighbors, whom we met due to shared frustrations, were dealing with a non-functional toilet. To top it all off, the bottom of our room door was broken, preventing it from closing properly. Our recent stay was, to put it mildly, an exercise in patience and low expectations. From the moment we arrived, the front desk experience set a concerning tone. The initial desk agent was dismissive and uninterested, barely acknowledging our presence. This lack of engagement continued with the subsequent employee; neither seemed inclined to assist the considerably long line of waiting guests. Our first attempt to address an issue – a scorching hot refrigerator, a concern we tried to report via phone within their stipulated 15-minute window with no success – required another trek back to the desk. When the new shift finally took over, the replacement agent, while addressing us, unfortunately chose to badmouth her predecessor, which was entirely unprofessional and unhelpful. The "service" continued at a glacial pace, a recurring theme throughout our stay. As for breakfast, it was largely non-existent, offering little more than hot water and a few granola bars. Upon finally receiving a replacement for our faulty fridge, we discovered the towels provided were notably stained. Our neighbors, whom we met due to shared frustrations, were dealing with a non-functional toilet. To top it all off, the bottom of our room door was broken, preventing it from closing properly. Frankly, we're relieved we spent so little time in the room. The overall experience was truly abysmal.

I will say the drug dealers and ladies of ill repute were polite but there was no mistaking what was going on in the complex. Whom ever serviced the room didn't leave toilet paper, had to by my own. Won't stay here again.

The staff at the front desk were nice, however there is no security past that point and anyone off the street have access to the property there were people milling about the property drug sales out in the open the property appears to be run down. We were surprised at this because we have been to others properties belonging to your organization upon noticing these things we immediately checked out we and found more suitable accommodations very very disappointed Wyndham needs to step it up. Very dissatisfied customer.

The AC didn’t work, the floor was sticky and gross. At about 3:00 am a fight broke out in the room above me which spilled out into the balcony and I was afraid the whole night that a shooting was going to happen. I felt unsafe and won’t stay in a Days Inn by Wyndham again, it was a slum and not worth the money I paid for it. I would like my money back but I doubt I will ever see that happen.

The room was clean. I did not like that a lot of shady characters seemed to party in the parking lot. There was a large amount of clothing thrown in a parking space. They wouldn’t move when I tried to park and started walking to my truck door saying words that were not nice. Just don’t accept a room on the back side of the motel

Some of the staff was not friendly. The windows of the rooms were dirty. Our floors were so dirty, it turned our socks black! There was urine smell in the stairwells. There was suspicious activity going on there.

It's an average hotel. I don't think if I was traveling alone I'd feel safe in the evenings coming and going. There is no breakfast provided. Bathroom door didn't even latch.

I have stayed at this motel many times...I am typically in Hampton almost every month for 4-6 days. This property is my regular stop...it is clean, the staff and owner are very cordial, and I can count on a safe and comfortable stay. It does not have a restaurant so I do have the leave the property for meals but this is my only negative...after a long day it would be nice to be able to just walk into an onsite restaurant. I will continue to use this Days Inn. It is reasonably priced, clean, and the staff is nice. What more coud as traveler need?

Our stay was 3 weeks, Room was clean, beds were comfortable, decent pillows, after a week beeing there we had to ask them to finally change the linens, had to ask several times for fresh towels, room was not cleaned daily. People were friendly and accommodating when we asked for things like linens and towels. Breakfast needs some work, same everyday, limited selection for sure. Stayed there several years earlier, Quality and service was much better then.

Horrible cigarette smell in room. Shady characters hanging around in parking lot. Front office was helpful during check in and when I asked for extra time in checking out. Towels are paper thin and old. They did give me more when I asked.

If you want to relive hotels you might have stayed in when you had limited options in college, this property will fit your needs. Our room had all of the items mentioned on the website, BUT as professional, working adults who have stayed at all price ranges of hotels, we won’t stay here again. Sticky floors that left your bare feet black, cheap towels, people smoking on the breezeway outside our room, and an overall feeling we had of “I wish I had picked another hotel for the 3 of us”. There are other hotels nearby, so if you can afford to spend some more money, consider that option. We always will in the future!

It’s a very old facility, looks to be remodeled about 20 years ago or if sooner it hasn’t hasn’t been cared well for. The stairwells rate of urine there is a heavy marijuana smell throughout the hallways. Paint chipping off walls in the room, baseboards, filthy, tub stained. Check-in was good employee was pleasant. Thankful we only had one night here.
