Baymont by Wyndham Savannah Midtown

Overall nice stay. Convenient location for what we needed. Good price. T.v. was a little challenge to navigate though. Appeared to have a lot of channels, but only if you have streaming subscriptions to log into. It's okay, though. I wasn't in the room that long

The staff were friendly. The rooms however, looked NOTHING like the pictures. The tub was very nasty, but you get what you pay for.

The front desk clerk announced our room number (with other people (not part of my party) within ear shot. This is not a safe practice for your establishment. I asked for another room # (and to not say it out loud). The clerk seemed confused but after explaining it we did get another room.

After a long exhausting stay we just needed to rest!!! The bathroom (sleep side) had hair all over the shower walls from where the previous renter had possibly shaved. We used the one on the suite side as it was not as dirty. The sofa on that side had stains all over it so we laid down our personal towels before sitting on them. We couldn't figure out how to get the TV over there to work. When we moved back to the bedroom side and we saw what appeared to be blood stains on the bed comforter. We completely stripped it off and used the additional sheets that were in the room, they appeared to be cleaner. I advised the guest/desk service agent about this and also that we could not lock the door when exiting the room. She said she would get everything checked out. The rooms are dated but we didn't expect "glam" for the price. We did expect the rooms to be clean and ready for the next renter especially when there's a team dedicated to doing just that. We did not use the amenities so we cant really speak on it but: Value 7/10 Space in Suite 10/10 (Room 243 and 245) Aesthetics 3/10 Breakfast 4/10 Cleanliness 2/10 Accessibility to Interstate for travel 10/10 Overall 4/10 Summary: Poor/Fair overnight stay. Be sure to pack some Lysol/Clorox wipes and possibly your own linen, washcloths and towels. This review was not written with an attempt to get refunded or discounted. We paid and left, we never asked for a manager and I'm not even sure if the agent suggested it.
