Just the basics. The hotel was just the basics. It was clean and relatively quiet. The pool was closed and you had to ask for ice as the machines were not functioning. The breakfast was a disappointment. First, they close it at 9am. 2nd, the coffee cups they give you are the smallest I have ever seen. The pickings were slim.

Run away! When you walk in the entire place reeks and then is covered by the smell of what can only be described as cologne and fabuloso. We get to the room and the smell is 10 times worse. We decide to suck it up and give it a shot. We go out into the hallway to hear a lady moaning loudly from adult activities. We left for a bit and came back and the smell was so bad. There was a man yelling and fighting with a woman and in a completely different room than earlier a different adult escapade taking place. I assume it was a no tell motel. We took our bags and left. Didn’t even bother complaining to management, I just left. It was gross and not a safe comforting place I wanted my little girls at. The pool was not in service. Never again.

Room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. No room service offered for the duration of stay; breakfast was minimal - visited but didn’t eat; and, could see the unsightly pool from the window at the elevator. Definitely would not stay there again.

Close to the highway and convenient, but the hallway was filthy, the building was in need of repair, it smelled. We almost just ate the cost and went to another hotel nearby but we were tired and roughed it out. The guy at the desk was nice, but the property manager should be replaced.

Find somewhere else to stay. Check in started ok but there was a strong smell of cleaner when you enter. Pool out of order. Sign looks like it’s been on the door for a long time. The room is small. Bathroom tiny. Toilet leaking from the back? The walls may have been recently redone and there were bits of plaster stuck to switches, shower door. The shower door was not clean. The shower faucet head was wobbling. Water did come out hot. The blow dryer didn’t work because the plug was broken and could not be reset as the reset button was damaged. I called down for a portable dryer- nope.The AC unit has seen better days and was very noisy. It had moments when it would be quieter the. The whine began. Forget the breakfast. They have a waffle maker and the batter was empty. The desk guy did go get another one but no one checks stuff?it was 7:30 am. The clerks response to my list of issues was, “sorry”. The only positive was the bed was comfortable.

The clerk was vey unwelcoming & argumentative, I told him I didn’t know about the $100 hold & he tried to tell me I did, then told me about my reservation that I had Friday, which I cancelled thru Expedia & we all know that Expedia sometimes takes a while to send cancellations, but not sure why that even mattered, especially when my room was nasty, I showed him the pictures & he seemed unfazed like that’s normal.

It was cheap and you get what you paid for. Except breakfast during the hours they say it's available. We didn't get that. Though I'm not sure I would have wanted it anyway given how dirty the place was.

I stay this hotel before that's o.k. Last time, that's why we are coming back,but this time the room was very dirty,there is a large dirty stain in the bed sheets,and the microwave was very dirty inside ( sauce stains left there I don't know how long ago ,we ask to change room but the other room no better than this, I call the front desk guy come to cleaned the microwave so we can heated up our food, there is also. O hot water either , therefore we can't take a shower. There is 31degree in January in Savannah. No wonder there is only 3 cars in the parking

I stayed few weeks ago bed sheets looked dirty lots of hair dead skin i ask for sheets and remade the bed....tried it again few days ago the sheets looked cleaner but so much hair i had to brush off with towel and lay on my personal blanket due to the late hours i was tired..the shower had hair hair hair i ran the hot water and rinsed out the shower...i cant stay anymore..i Hate other people's hair...its disgusting and really affects me Mentally 😫

The room was ok but the hotel was dated. We seen several bugs throughout the facility as well as in our room and the AC only worked about half of the time. The staff was nice but not very helpful and at time the smell of weed was unbearable. Overall I would avoid this Sleep Inn. I’m not usually a review guy and feel like I can overlook a lot but this one’s a No for me!

I had a room with thin walls and could hear the neighboring guest clearly. This room on the ground level was not good at all but I stayed upstairs during another trip and it was a much better room and experience.

The room did not have a "welcoming" smell. Upgrades are needed. The bathroom door doesnt lock and it looks like they just painted over everything. There were a group of individuals having a party directly outside our room in the parking lot. We asked the staff to have them move to a spot not close to people's rooms, and the staff advised that he would "ask". Unfortunately, we had to handle the matter ourselves because WHY would they allow that type of mess at 7:30 AM?! Not a recommended stay..

Room was quite small but bed was comfortable. Room had been fairly recently renovated which is good, but smaller things had not been finished but hopefully will be in the near future. Breakfast was really bare bones. Great location on/off Interstate 95 and next door to Houlihans Restaurant where we enjoyed a great meal.

So this place is fine for a one night stay. The ac worked great. The room was a little damp blankets I think because of the humidity. They were not so damp in the morning. Bed was comfortable we slept until 9 am soundly. Everything was clean except the shower glass. The inside looked fine but we decided not to take a shower. Decided to not get the continental breakfast. Staff was friendly upon arrival but did want a million signatures. Tv has basic cable nothing fancy. But decent for the price. Place is old and hallway smells like old potato chips.

Stopped here as a second option after leaving a dirty hotel. Check in went smooth. Room okay but updates seemed cheaply done. Hall smells a little unpleasant.

When I got to my room, I realized the air conditioner was not working. I will say the staff was quick and prompt to respond. And the issue was actually resolved rather quickly. However, I didn’t know how long this process was going to take. I’d already been traveling close to six hours. I had asked if it’s possible to go ahead and just let me go to another room. I was told they did not have any of our rooms. However, my issue is I was in the lobby. A person walked in off the streets without a reservation. They asked if they had another room and they were told that they did quoted the price. That’s what upset me about the situation was I was told they didn’t have enough room with. my suggestion to the staff would be. When I asked to be placed in a different room lead with letting me know that this can be resolved quickly. If not, then I’ll be moved to another room rather than just telling me you don’t have another room available. We after seem like we’re trying and putting their best efforts, but they still have a ways to go. I was asked to provide a credit card at a time of check-in even though it already paid for room I was told this would be for incidentals. This was totally understandable however it was not mentioned to me that there be a $100 hold on my card. The person checking me in explain everything about the hotel in great detail except for the $100 hold. I would recommend mentioning this as part of the check-in process.

Don't bother even walking through the front doors. I stayed at Sleep Inn Savannah Gateway I-95 Savannah, GA 31419 for one night and my experience was highly disappointing due to multiple issues. During my stay, I encountered serious hygiene problems, including both bed bugs and roaches in my room; we know this because my 12-year-old son had 17 little bites on his back. When I brought these concerns to the attention of the manager/owner, I was met with rudeness and a lack of willingness to address the situation, which made the experience even more upsetting. He, a about 5'7 Indian guy with an attitude who claimed to be the owner, (even though it's a franchise) told me he "does not believe me" and that I should get out and then threatened to call the cops. This baffled me because I literally only went down to notify him and to ask for a different room. After that confrontation, I took my family of 3 to the hotel down the street at around 3 AM because he kicked us out for complaining. I am usually never mad enough to write a review but due to his groundless anger towards me and the fact that he refused to refund me my money. Cleanliness and respectful customer service should be top priorities for any establishment, and unfortunately, this was not the case here. I strongly urge future guests to be cautious and for management to take immediate action to resolve these problems to ensure a better experience for others. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This by far was the worst Hotel stay I have ever had. The hotel was dirty, there was an order in the hallways, and even in the room. As me and my wife were about to try and watch TV the manager had to come up and fix the TV the cord was missing, we didn’t have the code to the WIFI and had to repeatedly call the front desk where there was no answer. As we get ready for bed we try and turn on the air conditioner because it was extremely hot and stuffy in room the unit makes a loud noise and we discover it’s not working. We contacted the front desk he was very rude about it not working, we couldn’t be moved to another room since they had “sold out” so we asked for a refund and had to literally have an entire debate about why and the unfairness of the entire situation. Just the basics. The hotel was just the basics. It was clean and relatively quiet. The pool was closed and you had to ask for ice as the machines were not functioning. The breakfast was a disappointment. First, they close it at 9am. 2nd, the coffee cups they give you are the smallest I have ever seen. The pickings were slim.

It was cheap and you get what you paid for. Except breakfast during the hours they say it's available. We didn't get that. Though I'm not sure I would have wanted it anyway given how dirty the place was.

This is a good basic motel, excellent for the price. I was disappointed to find that breakfast ended at 9 am and I awoke at 9:20, but at least they left the coffee, some fruit and some yogurt.

Find somewhere else to stay. Check in started ok but there was a strong smell of cleaner when you enter. Pool out of order. Sign looks like it’s been on the door for a long time. The room is small. Bathroom tiny. Toilet leaking from the back? The walls may have been recently redone and there were bits of plaster stuck to switches, shower door. The shower door was not clean. The shower faucet head was wobbling. Water did come out hot. The blow dryer didn’t work because the plug was broken and could not be reset as the reset button was damaged. I called down for a portable dryer- nope.The AC unit has seen better days and was very noisy. It had moments when it would be quieter the. The whine began. Forget the breakfast. They have a waffle maker and the batter was empty. The desk guy did go get another one but no one checks stuff?it was 7:30 am. The clerks response to my list of issues was, “sorry”. The only positive was the bed was comfortable.

This was not noted on their website - there was some sort of garbage outside at the end of the hotel. It had been there for a while because it smelled like rotting food. - the breakfast was adequate, but no real options for me, as I can’t have gluten. There was cereal, toast, muffins, and a waffle-maker. Suggestion: Some sort of fruit would have been a nice complement to the breakfast options.
