The Candlelight Inn

We enjoyed a few lovely days in Gros Morne recuperating from rainy hikes in the Candlelight Inn. Our room was very comfortable, and the common kitchen and living room were filled with helpful instructions and amenities. Breakfasts were self serve but included a great assortment of food.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfast area is well stocked and very useful. The owners are putting their heart and soul into making this place special.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Candlelight Inn. The owners have put so much thought into making every guest feel comfortable, with many thoughtful touches throughout the property. The Inn is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The location is perfect in the heart of Rocky Harbour, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and other amenities. We especially appreciated having access to the well-equipped kitchen each morning to make breakfast. It had everything we needed, including to-go cups for coffee and tea, which was a wonderful bonus before heading out for the day. The owners are incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel right at home. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend the Candlelight Inn to anyone visiting the area.

A small inn with hands on owners. Kitchen well stacked for a light breakfast - make your own, with precooked oatmeal as well. It was chilly on our days there so we did not make use of the party shed out back, but a good add on for the guests. Place is well looked after as are the guests.

This was a stay beyond what we were expecting because of the thoughtful hosts and beautiful views from the back property. Many common areas both inside and out have been created for guests to relax, have a coffee or drink and enjoy some down time after hikes nearby. The daily breakfast had many delicious options to either sit down with or pack up. The location was also excellent- easy to find and right on the water, with many trails nearby, and restaurants and a lively pub were walkable. Would definitely recommend!
