Unwind in Style at our Island Oasis!

Excellent villa in a very handy location for shops, beach, buses. Host was extremely helpful and always very quick to respond to any queries.

Our stay started off a bit stressfully because the keyless lock on the door didn’t work when we arrived. We were also pressed for time because we were rushing to get to a surprise birthday party for our best friend (who had no idea we were even in Barbados!). We had to contact Henrietta to help us get inside, and she was always patient, kind, and responsive while helping us sort things out.Overall, the stay was comfortable. The home was very clean, the beds very comfy, and the shower was great! Every morning we woke up to the sound of chatty roosters — definitely part of the local wake-up call!Since we didn’t rent a car, we walked to a nearby beach and grocery store, both about a 15-minute walk away. The home is in a residential part of town rather than a resort area. One thing we noticed is that the streets can be surprisingly confusing to navigate.Even some cab drivers seemed unsure — so it’s easy to lose your way. The good news is that people in the neighbourhood were always friendly and willing to help when we asked for directions.A tip: use the cab driver Henrietta recommends — it’s much easier on the pocket:-)Also, look out for the buzzing kites overhead. They make a noise that sounds like angry bees. While flying them is a long-standing local pastime, even locals say the noise can get annoying after a while.Overall, we appreciated Henrietta’s responsiveness and the comfort of the family-friendly home, and we thank her for helping make our stay a pleasant one!

Fantastic stay at Breezy Villa within walking distance to beautiful Brighton beach, restaurants, grocery store. Our accommodation was equipped with everything you need. Our host Hyacinthia was very helpful, kind and generous. The neighbors were very friendly and we felt safe. I highly recommend Breezy Villa for a relaxing, stress free stay.
