MainStay Suites Coeur d'Alene

This hotel is perfect for families, those travelling for a sports tournament, a break from a road trip, etc. The rooms are spacious, has an in room kitchen, huge bathroom, and a lot of conveniences like multiple mirrors and another sink in the kitchen area. There weren't enough front desk staff to accommodate a full hotel (we were there for a tournament) and the breakfast was on the narrow side for options.

Everything was fine. The empty running fridge was too loud.

Staff was wonderful especially with a late check-in and a full parking lot. Hotel room was wonderful and clean.

Overall, our stay was okay and the hotel had a nice vibe, but as someone who works in cleaning, I couldn’t help but notice several areas that needed more attention. There were multiple spots that looked dirty and overlooked, which took away from the experience. With a deeper focus on cleanliness and detail, this place could be much better. Staff was fine and the stay was decent, but cleanliness definitely needs improvement.

The room was clean but the hotel feels run down a bit- the hot tub water is also yellow which was alarming. Kids liked the waterslides.
