Super 8 by Wyndham El Paso Airport

All that was needed for a night’s sleep after a late flight- clean, simple. Hot breakfast options were a pleasant surprise. Shuttle only runs to the airport, in the mornings. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice.

Got the room solely for the pool. To take the kids swimming in a more private setting. It was 8pm. It was locked. Lady at front desk said it was closed for “reasons”. On sign said from 10am - 10pm. Defeated our purpose for getting the room.

Room was not very clean and the water had a strong odor. The door was not sealed all the way so a draft came through the bottom. It was really noticable because the room led to the outside. Their shuttle service would not pick me up from the airport due to weather. However at the time I arrived the bad weather was over and was clear for the shuttle to pick me up. The shuttle service also had weird hours not listed online. To go to the airport from the hotel, the shuttle only ran from 4am, 5am, 6am and then it jumped to 10am. This was a big inconvenience because I had planned to pick up my rental car at 9am and had to get up at 5:30 to wait at the airport. Overall would never stay at this hotel again.

We usually stay at this hotel, but lately there has been some issues, specially with the cleaning. But this last one was the worse: pool was out of service (the webpage didn't say anything about it) the coffee maker was not working and the bathroom was a total mess. Absolutely dirty. How ever the staff was really nice as usual.

Had a good stay overall. Staff was accommodating. Did have to switch rooms several times (one room was already occupied, one room the door wouldn't close correctly). Pool was out of service which I was unaware of when making the reservations so that was not good when staying with two children. Breakfast was included which was nice. Convenient location to the airport and surrounding shopping.

Upon booking, the hotel did not mention that airport shuttle is only available after 6am.

Bathtub filthy. No way to shower. Toilet ran, I finally figured to just jiggle handle. Pool locked. Had to wash my feet after walking around the room barefoot. It was filthy. I asked for an upgrade and told them I would pay. They said no. They were rude and unaccommodating. I left the next day and still had to pay for the next night I wasn't there. Called Expedia, to try to get out of the second. They conviently disconnected after putting me on hold.

The staff is very helpful depending on your status or how well you know them or their mood. Although my early check in fee was comped. It came after waiting for an hour for my room in the lobby and someone without a reservation walking up and getting a room quickly. Don't use the candy machines as they steal your money and management has no clue as to hot to refund your money or contact the non existent company that refills their machines. How do you offer an airport shuttle but it only runs from 7am to 10am? Tried to get an airport shuttle at check out at 11am but was no longer running.

I understand as someone who does housekeeping how you have to turn over the place fast... But, only having the house keepers do the bed, the toliet, and the onside the of sink... And that is it... Is disgusting.. I know those floors and that tub wasn't skipped over just one time.. The floors shouldn't be black when you wipe it with a wet cloth. I felt so gross staying there. It felt like a place a drug addict would go.

Very dirty place

Check in was great Room was dirty, bed looked like they just made the bed without switching bedding had stains, floors not sweeped and dead roaches next to air conditioner and tv stand, bathroom dirty shower not cleaned and toilet was nasty. Had to book another hotel

The room was in horrible sanitary condition. When I opened the door and turned on the light there was a roach on one of the beds and it walked down in to the bottom of the mattress. As if that wasn’t enough … there was a huge unalived roach at the bathroom entrance. I had to walk right back out and pay 206.00 to stay somewhere else. Not cool.

The place was very dirty. We felt very unsafe people lurking around walking around looking like they were possibly selling drugs. The hotel was dirty There was mold on the walls, and I could hear my neighbors snoring through the wall or the door that canjoined them and then when I got there, I was locked out of the room they had to come and reset the keys took him 25 minutes to get there…. NEVER ever again!!!!!

Staff friendly 1st room was really dirty they gave me another one it was dirty too. Dirty towels in the bathroom hanging in the door the toilet was dirty with hairs all over and the floor were also very dirty with lots of hair.

The room wasn't very clean. A lot of hair on the floor. Check in and out was fast and friendly! Breakfast was good!

Had to ck out 1 day early,pictures of 2 many cockroaches had to leave 1 day early shake out all our belongings due to roach eggs in my sleep apnea machine. Was going to show pics to the health dept.bad bad review will go viral.Super 8 Roach house

Trash on the floor and someone underwear socks and towel in one of the drawers.

If I could rate this place zero stars, that's exactly what i would give it. This is the worst hotel ever. I do not recommend this even to my enemies. The room was very dirty, the bathroom was worse with mold on the wall and roaches literally roaming the bedroom to the bathroom. I made several complaints to the front desk and nothing was done about it. They certainly do not care about the cleanliness of the rooms nor the needs of the customers. Stay far away from this place and do not stay at this place if you value your health and comfort.

You get what you pay for. Incredibly inexpensive rate. Very run-down room with rough walls, ceilings. Cheap place to get some sleep on a roadtrip.

Discourteous front desk staff at check in Wifi connection not working/available, -was told that it was a known issue since the day before.. meaning manager didnt care to have somebody fix it

Comfortable beds. Great floor plan. Large restroom. Loved, Loved, Loved the floorplan and Space.

The shower and air conditioning was great but the bed was really hard and I had a hard time sleeping. No thick blanket and the pillows were pretty old and uncomfortable. When I asked for room service, they explained that I would have to stay for at least 4 days to get my room clean at all.

The property is big and your room can be so far away from main office and breakfast room. The room was clean but not bathroom. Breakfast is good. Bed was with old mattress, not comfortable, hang down in the middle. Price is good for this type of room.

Not quite as good a nights sleep as some of my other stays.

Very comfortable bed, coverings, sheets and pillows. Slept all night like a baby and awoke fully and completely refreshed in the morning. Ms. Patel at front desk was especially pleasant and gracious.

Room smelled like urin. Sink smelled. Only redeming quality was the front desk staff who where friendly and good people Miguel i think his name was ordered an uber when the shuttle did not arrive out of pocket

Check in took 40 minutes at 4pm. There were a few guests in line. Although there were 2 people behind the counter when I got there, one left after he helped the guest in front of him. She had 5 people in line!! The room was comfy and clean.

Terrible hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE! Staff were rude! They do not understand that we as customers are guests! The housekeeping lady told my wife that she had to go the the supplies room to get the things we needed for our room! Avoid this hotel! Pay a little extra and have a comfortable stay elsewhere! Terrible experience!

Cheap and convenient very clean

This place is absolutely disgusting and very unsafe. The door had been kicked in and wouldn’t close. The room had cockroaches on the floor and was filthy and there was a man doing a drug deal on the stairs as we left. I didn’t even stay and they wouldn’t return my money just gave our room to someone else. 100 would not go to this hotel

I was only stopping to sleep for a couple of hours and when i arrived there was police everywhere. The door to the room had to be slammed to close. There was roaches in the bathroom. .

Well, I would always stay here and still do. Maybe this last time was the last time, but it's been getting worse than better. I see a lot of druggies getting rooms. I mean you can't beat the price and cheap you can't be beggers or pickies, lol. I was happy that the young receptionist changed out room to right in front of the pool, but it was filthy. The floor most of all. Had to disconnect the fridge cuz the freezer was super iced up that door wouldn't close. Towels seemed old and dirty, even though they did smell clean. Pillows comfortable. A/C did work this time around. Bathroom seemed filthy and not cleaned, but again price! Used wipes and cleaned it myself. Easy fix! I didn't like that my husband was chilling in pool sitting down enjoying the breeze and having a few beers after me and my grandkids went to our room, that the receptionist kept coming to check up on him or just see what he was up too, even though she knew me and my grandkids were with him. That was a bit uncomfortable. The housekeeper in the morning at like 940 am just used her key to open our room. That really made me super mad and feel unsafe! I have small grandkids. What if I was showering or naked or ANYTHING. Privacy and no matter what they can't just open ur door most of all before 11 am check out! I told the front desk at checkout too. They give you a coupon for discount, but that's NOT what makes things or circumstances better. Fix the issues. Check ALL your rooms to make sure they are descent!

I like staying at the 8 in El Paso because of their price and location. Right across the highway is a great shopping center full of stores and restaurants, not to mention the restaurant that is right next to the hotel. But the rooms could use a little maintenance because sometimes their sinks are clogged and it goes the same with the showers and sometimes the cleaning staff forgets to put the adequate towels needed or the remote for the TV is missing. But what can I expect for the price I pay. So sometimes I have to outweigh the good with the bad.

This was the wirst experience ever. Bad neighborhood, noisy guests, felt unsafe, dirty room, terrible mattress. Sleeping in my car in a parking lot would have been better. Don’t stay here!

Very good breakfast

Room is in need of maintenance. The tub does not drain. Walls have holes and unfinished sheet rock repairs. The door doesn’t close properly and the keys malfunctioned several times. The breakfast is bad, microwave food. The coffee was ok.

Great service from front desk, he manage multiples things by himself, it’s appreciated work for him. And I enjoyed breakfast

Don’t count on the free hotel shuttle as advertised and confirmed by staff, doesn’t operate when you need it, don’t count on a clean room and bathroom; disgusting, don’t count on a good breakfast.

I thought it was a pretty good value for the money. And they had a great continental breakfast!!!

Great stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was much better than expected, the staff were all really friendly. Will stay again when in El Paso.
