Extended Stay America Suites - Donaldsonville - Gonzales

Check in was as smooth as gold. Mr A was super friendly and funny. We came in as a family of 3 with a dog, $25 pet free but they are pet friendly as advertised. The room was super clean and was very large. Even the bathroom! WiFi was on point and they even have breakfast!!! Laundry room on sight, weight room. These people want your business and by the way the room and staff were they definitely will be referred while we are here. The only downfall was the morning lady we crossed paths with. We got up for breakfast at 6:30 and there was nothing set out for cups when it came to coffee, creamer was out. Oatmeal and nutri bars for breakfast was set up. Other than that this stay was super pleasant and a 9/10 in my eyes!!! Thank you for having us!

Quiet. No Safe

One of the rooms smelled so bad we had to go to Walmart for cleaning supplies and at one point we lost power and hot water for hours

The elevator was broken. Had to walk 3 flights of stairs. Elevator was fixed later that night.

Where do I began this hotel needs to be closed down? READ the reviews for yourself. Do not book through Hotels.com (expedia) neither through the hotel itself your refund will be denied by the people who are running it (family owned establishment) want money but too cheap to make necessary repairs to make hotel operable but willing to collect the hard earned dollars of American citizens. Upon arriving at desk a phone number was listed for you to call then a lady came to the desk. She checked me into the hotel then told me that the elevator was broken and told me I had to take the stairs. Upon entering the staircase I observed it was filthy never been cleaned with a wet floor sign in the middle of floor and a broken EXIT sign above the door. Upon walking to my room the hallway on the second floor appeared to be clean except for chipped paint on the walls. Upon entering the room the bathroom was clean but the toilet was hard to flush and needs repairs. The kitchen cabinets and living room areas had chipped paint as well. The TV was so small that you had to sit up close in order to see it. The brown chair /couch near the bed had a broken leg and was leaning and the chair at the desk/table needs to be thrown in the trash the paint was so chipped that it was falling all over the floor. The A/C unit and heater also didn't work.The sheets and blanket were shockingly clean but they only gave you two flimsy pillows. READ Google reviews!

No phone, the lamps didn’t work. Love the regular size fridge.

No help from the front desk, absolutely no water coming out of the shower.

Downstairs doors were left propped which is why myself and my family didn’t stay overnight I left at around 9:30-10pm I felt place wasn’t secure open outside was extremely dirty trash and cigarettes outside

It was so clean n friendly

Odd smells. Dingy sheets and towels. No toilet paper. Stains on walls. Guests outside smoking marijuana in plain day.

Lady on nights was really nice My room door 330 looked like it was kicked in before or jimmied open. My dry off towels had a few pubic hairs, my sink had hair also. The room hadn’t been dusted in months. The bed was comfy

Had mold in room, had to get switched to another room, 2nd room had no water pressure, trash all over the property, staff was nice.

The only issue I had was that the bed was hard as a rock.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff and the owner of the hotel were more than kind and professional. The hotel was clean and very well kept. I highly recommend this place to any and everyone I have had a wonderful experience and extended my stay!

There was face hair in the bathroom sink and no blanket on one of the beds. The front desk had to come to verify in the room about the blanket then called a manager who also had to come in the room to say we can have the bed covered.

This property was easy to get to. The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. It was a good place to stay for one night while travelling.

We stayed there for work for about 3 weeks. It’s a great hotel for a great price as well. The staff was always respectful and friendly. Our room were always cleaned every 3 days.

It had absolutely no coffee, none. It didn't off a breakfast, I always look for free breakfast. Expedia needs to update their hotel information. I was so upset.

It's very well maintained and clean but breakfast is oatmeal and fruit bars...more of a selection Would be great. I've been here for about 2 weeks and will be staying a while longer and would recommend it highly! The manager and stsff are great.

Hotel was old, run down, little to no customer service. No coffee pot in room- no coffee service in lobby. This is too run down for the price there was. Chalk sign (obviously created by a tenant) that said ‘ if you are new - welcome. If you stay here - FUVK YOU!’ Very large on the sidewalk entering the hotel - classless
