Modern hotel, clean, nicely updated/decorated, friendly hotel staff. Appreciate some of the little amenities, like a space heater, sound/white noise machine, fitness center, microwave in the main lobby. Ambience was lovely, great location in the theater district, close to many restaurants and entertainment options. If I were to suggest something to improve, it would be noise reduction to the hallway. Perhaps soft close hinges, or door sweeps that might close the bottom gap? Lots of door slamming at all hours. The sound machine helps, but feel like there are measures that could improve this issue.

Things I loved- The staff was great Bed was very comfortable They have a white noise maker in the room! Secure building with a nice courtyard. Only 2 things I wasn't a fan of- NO FAN IN THE BATHROOM! And to no fault of the hotel at all, but going forward, a room with a microwave is a must for US. Great location for any venue. Walking distance to the Target Center. There is no on site parking!

It felt like I was checking into an Insane Asylum. Huge dingy doors and had to get buzzed in during the middle of the day. One person working. No bar. No restaurant. No music in the lobby. A cool fireplace they wouldn’t turn on. The room was nice. 1/5 do not recommend

The Chambers had a great location and was good. Loved the room and the friendly and attentive staff. Workout room was well equipped with treadmills, ellipticals, and other equipment. Was close enough to activities and Target without being noisy.

I was upgraded to a great spacious room. Decor was modern and very clean room. No restaurant or bar or room service. But the price was amazing. And walkable to things downtown.

First time discovering of and staying at this boutique hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Easy check-in, followed by easy and affordable parking at a ramp a half-block away. Convenience and proximity to Orpheum Theatre was a plus. Only bad experience--could not figure out how to turn that floor-lamp on.

I really like how clean it is, and the shower has great water pressure. It is also convenient to lots of downtown events. Even though I'm a repeat customer, I was disappointed in the professionalism of the front desk staff and the room itself was bare bones. Only 2 towels, no towel racks, and only 1 chair. It did have a white noise machine which was handy due to noisy plumbing. I will choose elsewhere next time.

I enjoyed my stay at the beautiful Chambers Hotel. I appreciated the modern styling of the room, and it was very comfortable. I'll give 4 stars for cleanliness, and here's why: The room had a very nice glass shower with rainfall shower head in the ceiling, which was awesome, but the white caulking along the base where the frosted glass met the basin/floor section of the shower had pronouced black scum spots all along it. It needed a good bleach scrubbing. Besides this, the room and all other facilities were excellent, and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great hotel and in close proximity to several Key Downtown Minneapolis locations. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was fantastic and housekeeping did a great job picking up our messes and keeping everything organized for us. I would stay here again!

Cute hotel downtown that is in walking distance to the convention center (we were here for a volleyball tournament). Clean hotel with friendly staff. Good price for being downtown. Hallways were a little warm, and we had to turn the AC down really low to get the room cool. Otherwise, we had a nice stay. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a nice room. The main reason i booked this room was for the bath tub. Didnt get to use because the hot water never worked. And then the shower it was opposite. The showers cold water didnt work so i had to stand in corner of shower so i wouldnt get burned by scortching hot water! I rated it 2 stars because from desk checkout did at least refund me a portion of my booking back due to these issues. Otherwise it would have been a 1 for me. I will say it is very clean and staff are super sweet. But on the flip side if i pay over 400 dollars for 1 night for a room it would be nice if everything worked.

At one point this may have been a good option, but I found it was not worth the $. When I checked in the entire lobby had a strong smell of marijuana. The staff checking me in wasn’t the friendliest, and the general upkeep of the property just didn’t seem good. The room was very spacious, so that’s great, but there are better options around the convention center I would use next time.

The room was awesome. But one of the lights did not aork. And it was extremely hard to get the air the stay at a contant temperature. Our room was frequently up to 80° and would have turn air way low. It would get way too cold and the process would repeat.

Room was missing the remote control and the front desk couldn’t help us - said we’d have to wait for the cleaning crew to come back the next day (by then we were checked out). Property is in rough condition. Parking ramp next door listed as the place to park had a broken ticketing box so we weren’t able to use it.

The room was very uncomfortably warm. We turned the thermostat down to 60, and it was still too warm to sleep. Turned the system off eventually and opened the windows- which we didn't want to do because of the light and street noise. It still stayed uncomfortably warm in the room all night. Fine in all other aspects though.

The hotel was fine. But in the suite we stayed in there was this horrible noise that kept me up almost all night until I figured out where it was coming from and was able to turn it off. There was a water pipe that was as noisy as can be and very loud. Would have given a better review if it weren’t for that interrupting my sleep all night.

Despite being the cheapest downtown hotel, the Chambers Hotel was clean, professional, and highly comfortable. I will revisit this hotel if i return to Minneapolis.

Was able to check in a little early which was much appreciated. Woman at the check in desk was less than thrilled about her job and although she performed her basic job functions she was clearly bothered by having to help me. Tried to kill her with kindness but that didn't go too far. I quickly left her in hopes I wouldn't need her assistance again. No express checkout option and was yelled at across the lobby as I was walking out at the end of my stay to inquire if I was checking out and to get my room number. AC didn't work in the room but thankfully the windows opened to allow cooler air to enter although the street noise was quite loud. Beds were surprisingly comfy which was a huge plus!

The staff was absolutely incredible. It was a very booked night and our room wasn't ready at check in but we were taken care of so well. The front desk staff is top notch! Beautiful hotel, wonderful room and an amazing stay.

Barbara, the front desk person, was really nice; however, my key card to my room did not work. The front desk was unattended for 10 minutes and I had to wait to get this corrected. I called the Hotel’s number but it got me no where. The room was very spacious but it was a sauna - no air conditioning. I opened windows but it is very noisy outdoors. The hotel is at great location for the arts and entertainment but poor options to get a quick bite to eat. Thank goodness I stayed for one night only.

We had a great stay at the Chambers hotel. It was clean and the room was very spacious. It was a beautiful building with great art pieces! Walkable to local restaurants and the Target Center.

Staff were great, room decent, but there is a lack of convenient parking, and a mini homeless encampment just a few feet from the main entrance to the hotel.

We stayed here because it’s a block from the state theater. Hotel is nice and secure and clean. The room had a sound machine which was a nice bonus. We thought there was a bar but you just buy from the front desk. Ice is at the front desk as well. Room was hot but the windows open so that was nice as long as the sounds from the street traffic don’t bother you. We had a queen room and it was a full sized bed. I have a full and queen and a king at home and definitely not a queen.

Wasn’t a fan of the parking situation, the hotel itself was very nice & quiet. The surrounding area was very questionable. There was a fight that broke out at 4 in the afternoon and drug dealers all over. Really caught me off guard. It’s really close to Target Field and the Mayo Clinic.

This was a great hotel and in close proximity to several Key Downtown Minneapolis locations. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was fantastic and housekeeping did a great job picking up our messes and keeping everything organized for us. I would stay here again!

Cannot think of a handier place to stay for a show at The Orpheum than The Chambers Hotel. It’s also handy walking to many terrific dining options nearby. The continental breakfast was a nice touch. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast, was not great. They had cereal out but no milk. No eggs or anything special. But overall it was a good experience for me. Staff were excellent as well as rooms. Big TVs in rooms as well!

This hotel is in a great location for food, things to do and overall travel! The room was super super clean and very comfortable. House keeper was nice and did a great job. I did bring a small dog with me and the check in person didn't seem too happy about it. On our reservation we included we had a dog but he seemed annoyed which made us feel a little hesitant. The hotel allowed animals so it should of not been an issue to have with us. The only complaint i have is for the price of the hotel the breakfast was not good. Cold hard bagels, not hot items(eggs, bacon, waffles etc), very very limited items to pick from only cereal, oatmeal, apples) For the price you would think a little more would be provided so we had to ordered breakfast from Door dash.Parking is also not on site which was very frustrating, paying #20 a day for a parking garage not close to the property. The hotel site says parking available but doesn't mention its not connected to the hotel. Overall 8/10.

The hotel online seemed quite cool and buzzing, and while there were really nice touches (the furniture in the reception was nice, for instance), I was a bit disappointed by the overall quality. Unfortunately like many hotels at the moment, there was a really large area that I guess was a restaurant at some point that was just empty/unused and had quite a deserted vibe. Breakfast (in the silent "restaurant" area) was a "grab and go" style, but on my first morning there was no milk that any staff could find, so the many cereals weren\'t an option. There were muffins and sausage/egg sandwich things that could be microwaved that were fine. Often there were no staff at the front desk (though they were perfectly pleasant and helpful when they were there), and the phone in the room didn\'t work at all to call down to reception when I needed to tell them the TV didn\'t work - when I wandered down to reception to tell them that, it turned out there was basically no one else working at that point (I think it was 6pm) so nothing could be done about it. My colleague also had a comfortable chair in their room, but I didn\'t, and things that the website implies are available aren\'t always there ("Minibar stocked with local specialties" was an empty fridge, the bath product supplied didn\'t include shower gel). While they\'re all fairly minor points it did just mean that what was a fairly expensive hotel was missing the mark on quite a few things.

I stayed in the suite room with my wife for a night, she loves the nice bathtubs in the suite rooms. Service was nice but not above and beyond. A heads up they did not have hot foods for the complementary breakfast ao no eggs or sausages but rather cereal, fruits and bagels with an option for a toaster. Breakfast options need improvement.

I think the breakfast is something that could be improved. We were charged $5/person for a stale bagel and some coffee. They used to at least have some hot food, but it didn't look like they had that anymore.

We will not stay at the Chamber's Hotel. The decor and room amenities are fine. The parking is terrible around the bldg. it has been a pain every time we have stayed there. We also, do not understand why they don't post there incidental charges so you aren't caught by surprise we you check in that your credit card will be charged 75 for incidental charges and then after they determine your stay was acceptable they refund the money but in the meantime the charges are pending on your account up to three days. We have stayed all over the metro area for concerts and by far this hotel is the most expensive one we have stayed at for parking and incidental charges. We ended up having to give up our 200 a night king suite room already pre-paid for a special concert event because no where on there website or in our confirmation dos it tell you about the hidden fees. That makes me sad and there are no exceptions to the rule.

I was there to try to help my client get somewhere safe and to have a clean place to take a shower and relax and for some reason, the staff just kept giving me a hard time on everything I was trying to do they were not very helpful and did not want to give me any support very very very rude and I will not referring anyone else to their establishment?

Stayed in one of the Studio Suites. The room was fantastic, everything else was not. Went to check in at 5 and the room wasn't ready. Staff was mostly unfriendly, and the whole vibe of the hotel was just a bit depressing. The continental breakfast was possibly the worst continental breakfast I have seen. Overall just not a great experience and would look elsewhere.
