I liked I could bring my small dog. I did think the pet fee was too high at $50 a nite. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good every morning.

The staff member that greeted us, i believe her name was Natalie, was extremely nice and helpful. The room was beyond my expectations for the very affordable price. The outside area was also very nice with a gas lit fireplace and grills welcome for us to use.

Property is in a safe area and conveniently located near major routes, stores, etc. It is very clean, and staff were very friendly and responsive. Suites are set up more to accommodate business travelers than families or couples: although there is a kitchenette, a desk and office chair, there is no table or chairs for eating. Parking lot was not plowed after snowfall, creating somewhat hazardous conditions. Otherwise a great place to stay, and we would stay there again.

Stayed over Xmas week and had to leave a day early to avoid a snowstorm…rooms were fine, a little dated but comfortable, there was a constant almost siren-like noise outside we were told was from the heat vents and glad we we not outside any length of time ….breakfast was fine, appreciated the hours til 10a, parking lot icy but can’t help that I guess with the melting and freezing weather, overall fine for our shortened stay.

The property has a pool, it's listed in the amenities. When we were there in September it was not open. The manager was very rude about this and wouldn't refund anything or make any accommodations. DO NOT book at this hotel. The rooms were dirty, smelled wet, breakfast is terrible (cereal/fruit/cold eggs), the bathtub did not drain... the list goes on. I called the manager about a couple different things but she did not care. I also am reporting this property to Marriott - this is not Marriott standards.

Our stay was very good. Unfortunately they use a strong air freshener in the hallways and the offensive smell was so strong in our room that we asked to be moved. Jerson worked with us to find a different room. He was amazing! He certainly went the extra mile in finding us a different room where we could breathe easier. There were two buildings, the building with reception was much better with less air freshener. The breakfast was better than most! Little of hot choices and included healthy choices!

Our stay was very good. Unfortunately they use a strong air freshener in the hallways and the offensive smell was so strong in our room that we asked to be moved. Jerson worked with us to find a different room. He was amazing! He certainly went the extra mile in finding us a different room where we could breathe easier. There were two buildings, the building with reception was much better with less air freshener. The breakfast was better than most! Little of hot choices and included healthy choices!

The location was excellent for me as I was visiting family near by. Also easy walk to stores etc. There were lots of stains on carpets outside the room and inside. Place is tired but not so bad that it was uncomfortable. Window screens need replacing, even a little extra cleaning i.e. the metal on the indoor stairs could make it feel a bit better. Carpet frayed on stairs too. There were also a lot of scents that seemed like they were “covering” less desirable smells? Dog was barking in room next to us a lot. Not too quiet over all as ppl slammed doors and didn’t close the door to exterior so heard that a lot. I think if they gave a card when checking in with times of breakfast and about being a good neighbor with noise it would have been helpful as well as what the room cleaning schedule was as one day they said it was “clean towel day” .Breakfast area was very clean and had plenty of choices for food. I thought nice that they have items to lend out too although we did not borrow anything. Lastly the 20.00 dollar a day sur charge (in case we had any incidentals I was told would be refunded upon check out but when I checked out they said it would take a week or so, I don’t understand that policy.

Horrible experience! I have never seen a Marriott property in this type of condition! Peeling paint in the bathroom, shower handle comes off in your hand, bathroom door will not stay shut or open, toilet slow to flush, rust on the basket to store clothes in the closet, did not feel clean.

Had a 2 bedroom suite. Bedrooms and bathroom were clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen needed some updating , a couple burners on stove were bent and didnt lay flat ( elec stove). Breakfast was fairly basic but always plentiful. Was a pretty good deal fir the price.

Nice modern rooms and bathrooms, very comfy bed, very clean. Noise from outside was a problem from our room; motorcycles and zooming cars were loud. Room is also kind of bright, if you have trouble sleeping if it's not dark.

Love the layout of the 2 bedroom suites! Makes traveling with multiple people much more enjoyable when you have bedrooms separate from the living room/kitchen area. My only request: have a king-sized bed or twin bed option in one of the bedrooms. Double bed felt small...

Beds were awful in both rooms of the 2 bedroom suite. Beds felt as if they were sheets of wood with no padding at all. As if someone had pulled back the top of the mattress and laid down plywood then sewed back up instead of replacing the mattress. We had a 6 hour drive in and 6 hours home, as the driver who got no sleep, it was rough going. Glad my husband did sit down gently when we first got in the room. The beds were really disappointing. Loved the area of town, will definifely stay in area again, but not here.

Great location near highways- easy access to Minneapolis ad walkable to St Louis Park Westend with restaurants, movies, stores. Love having kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave and coffee in the room. Small workout room but good for treadmill workout and weights - never crowded.

Needs Updates - everything in this facility is quite dated - bath fixtures, bed, AC/Heat unit. There are phone jacks and yellowed outlet plates. When I turned the heat on, a burning smell filled the room. Doors, hardware, furniture are in need of remodel. My room was above a generator of some sort which made sleep challenging.

We had a late check-in and the associate (Jasmine I believe) was wonderfully cheerful and accommodating. I very nice welcome to the hotel. Breakfast buffet is good and the sitting area for it is very bright. The employees work extremely hard at keeping it clean and fresh.

The only issue that we had during our stay was with the performance of the desk clerk on duty when we checked in. As a person who has over 15 years experience as a desk clerk I found her ability to pass on necessary information was lacking. When Natalie asked if we would like housekeeping service we stated that yes we would. However, she never let us know that housekeeping was only done every two days. The first day was used up all the towels and when we returned that night to our room the room was not serviced and we had no towels to use. We went to the front desk and Natalie and the desk clerk was was replacing her at the end of her shift were extremely reluctant to give us towels to replace the wet ones. In the end we had to come back down to the front desk to get towels as they would not take them to our room. If there is a hotel policy that the front desk clerk could not leave the desk unoccupied I understand that. However they could have asked us to come and get the towels. Anyway, aside from that it was a very pleasant stay.

We came through to go see a Vikings game and during our stay the staff was polite and super helpful with directions and recommendations. Very clean and well organized inside and outside the hotel. Very nice play to stay.

Great location near highways- easy access to Minneapolis ad walkable to St Louis Park Westend with restaurants, movies, stores. Love having kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave and coffee in the room. Small workout room but good for treadmill workout and weights - never crowded.

The location was excellent for me as I was visiting family near by. Also easy walk to stores etc. There were lots of stains on carpets outside the room and inside. Place is tired but not so bad that it was uncomfortable. Window screens need replacing, even a little extra cleaning i.e. the metal on the indoor stairs could make it feel a bit better. Carpet frayed on stairs too. There were also a lot of scents that seemed like they were “covering” less desirable smells? Dog was barking in room next to us a lot. Not too quiet over all as ppl slammed doors and didn’t close the door to exterior so heard that a lot. I think if they gave a card when checking in with times of breakfast and about being a good neighbor with noise it would have been helpful as well as what the room cleaning schedule was as one day they said it was “clean towel day” .Breakfast area was very clean and had plenty of choices for food. I thought nice that they have items to lend out too although we did not borrow anything. Lastly the 20.00 dollar a day sur charge (in case we had any incidentals I was told would be refunded upon check out but when I checked out they said it would take a week or so, I don’t understand that policy.

We had a late check-in and the associate (Jasmine I believe) was wonderfully cheerful and accommodating. I very nice welcome to the hotel. Breakfast buffet is good and the sitting area for it is very bright. The employees work extremely hard at keeping it clean and fresh.

Our stay was very good. Unfortunately they use a strong air freshener in the hallways and the offensive smell was so strong in our room that we asked to be moved. Jerson worked with us to find a different room. He was amazing! He certainly went the extra mile in finding us a different room where we could breathe easier. There were two buildings, the building with reception was much better with less air freshener. The breakfast was better than most! Little of hot choices and included healthy choices!

My wife and I had a very good experience at Towne place Suites. The staff displays a sense of customer service! Choices for the complimentary breakfast were varied and delicious every morning. The rooms were also nice, spacious and clean. Finally, the property was in close proximity to shopping and dining. I would definitely stay there again!

Breakfast was same every morning. They only had one non pork meat ( turkey sausage) wish it was nice but which they have that option more for the non pork eaters. The rooms are old, the bathroom had a little smell. Overall it was okay. I probably will not come back

The property has a pool, it's listed in the amenities. When we were there in September it was not open. The manager was very rude about this and wouldn't refund anything or make any accommodations. DO NOT book at this hotel. The rooms were dirty, smelled wet, breakfast is terrible (cereal/fruit/cold eggs), the bathtub did not drain... the list goes on. I called the manager about a couple different things but she did not care. I also am reporting this property to Marriott - this is not Marriott standards.

So TownePlace suites is dog friendly, but the housekeeping staff is not .Twice a cleaner saw my dogs, screamed bloody murder, and then ran down the hallway, screaming all the way. Why is someone who is so afraid of dogs working in a dog-friendly hotel? This behavior was rude. Needless to say, they also wouldn't, clean my room or change the sheets.

Hard to say as cleaning staff refused to clean my room because they were afraid of my dogs, even though I would leave for several hours so they could clean at their leisure and my dogs are kind and gentle. The housekeeping staff did not come into the room most days except to collect used towels. Who is running the show here? Shouldn't potential employees at least be asked if they are afraid of cats and dogs if the place advertises itself as being pet-friendly? Marriott doesn't think so, apparently.

Marriott advertises some hotels as being pet- friendly, but it seems that only pet fish are welcome! My stay was way too long--over 2 months--as I was in the process of searching for a house. At first, I was unable to connect to their internet. I got the usual stare that says, "You're just a stupid old woman and don't understand anything about computers, so, if you'd just plug it in, it would work!" attitude. After three days of not being able to use my computer to search for potential houses, the desk person finally sent someone who diagnosed and fixed the problem in a few minutes. Surprise--the problem was their connection, not my age or sex! My generation invented the internet and I've worked in cyber security for many years, by the way. The biggest problem was the housekeeping staff whose job it was to clean the rooms. I was perplexed that they did not clean my room. Yes, I have two dogs with me who were very well behaved, as were most of the other dogs I saw here. But the housekeeping staff only cleaned the room when I complained to front desk staff. Is this how Marriott is cutting back on expenses? I don't know, but the cleaning staff changed my sheets only once during the two-plus months I was here, and then only because I asked. In total, they cleaned maybe five times total, and not at all this past two weeks. From actions like screaming, throwing up their arms in horror and running from me and my dogs down the hallway, I surmise that these staff are afraid of do
