This property is surrounded by medical clinics and a hospital and is utilized by patients' families while in the hospital. It is very clean and easy to access. There are no frills with this facility, so if you're looking for a pool, gym, and restaurants, you're better served at a different facility. If you have a friend or relative in the hospital and you need a safe, quite place to stay with excellent service, this is your place. I chose it because they're pet friendly and their very high rating on Travelocity. They did not disappoint.

Good basic hotel, clean and quiet. Comfortable bed, bathroom is fine. Close to airport and Montana University Billings. Good price. Not much of a workout room, but there is an elliptical, treadmill and bike. I will stay again!

Property is very well maintained. Parking is difficult do to the fact they are always booked full. But if you don't mind a little bit of a walk, it's got everything a person could want.

This hotel was very clean, the staff I met were all so friendly and genuine. Not a single one urged me to write this review. They were just helpful, kind and easy to chat with. The breakfast here is awesome! Chobani yogurt, bagels, waffle, biscuits and gravy, sausage links, omelets, breads, cereals, all the fixings to go on all the things, orange juice and apple juice, MONTANA milk, wonderful fresh fruit, and great fresh muffins! I'm sure I'm missing something there but I hope you get the idea. The beds were comfy and everything was very clean. The temperature knob/handle in the shower was loose and drifted on it's own to the hottest setting but it wasn't too hot, there was not a concern about getting burned, it didn't affect the shower temp adversely for us. There is only one door in and out of the building, they lock it at 8pm. This helps to make sure guests feel safe. The hotel is nestled in amongst the hospital so it's very handy for people staying in the area visiting loved ones getting medical help. You can have pets here. We encountered a few dogs that were all so well behaved and a delight to see. This is such a quiet and clean property.

One of the quieter hotels I’ve stayed in. Extremely friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. Locked front door at night, right at hospital makes for quiet evenings and more traffic in day, but still a quiet hotel. Appreciated cookies and popcorn treats on Saturday. Breakfast needs more fruit choices. Bigger room fridge would have been nicer. This was a cube fridge when there is the space for a mini fridge. If in Billings again, would stay again.

The property is clean, quiet, and was perfect for what I needed. However, the staff needs some updated safety training. When giving guests their room numbers, the front desk staff would say the room number out loud for the whole lobby to hear. I asked the front desk agent not to say mine out loud, which she respected, but I shouldn't have needed to ask. Also, when my key card demagnetized, the front desk agent simply fixed it for the room number I stated without asking for an ID and verifying my identity. Convenient maybe, but it made me wonder what would have happened if a stalker or someone with ill intent got a key card and wanted to stir up trouble. These things should be standard procedure, particularly as the hotel is in a seedier area of town.

Recommend this hotel. Exceptionally clean, quiet room, nice towels and comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was routine hotel food but breakfast room always kept clean, food fresh and re-stocked frequently and breakfast staff person very attentive. Good heater in room.

I have stayed at Hilltop many times before and enjoyed the quiet, clean accomodations however this last stay, both bedspreads were clearly dirty and there was a constant noise that sounded like vacuuming very early in the morning.

We have stayed at this hotel and 2 of it's sister hotels many times due to the convenience of location next to medical facilities. Everything has always been very good with the exception of the beds, which badly need to be replaced. This stay, I was 6 weeks from a spinal fusion and I struggled to be able to sleep as the bed was so soft and gave me no support.

The only negative to our stay, was the inconsistent water temperature in the shower. It fluctuated from warm to cold and back about every 30 seconds or so.

The hotel is a bit dated but well kept and clean. Room was a time capsule from the late 60s to 70s but again very well kept and clean. Bed was comfortable. Quiet area and pet friendly. Breakfast was good with usual pancake mix, cereal, coffee, but did have premixed eggs, potatoes and sausage. I would have no problem staying here again.

This isn't the typical hotel I would go for. Self proclaimed hotel snob here. We needed a place to sleep in a pinch from delayed arriving flight and wanted something close to the airport. Options are pretty limited in downtown Billings for that, so went out on a limb and booked. It was clean and did the and didn't break the bank like most of the other options. I would now stay here again when needing to be downtown, especially for flying. Y only negative review, the pillow are garage. Flat as a pancake

It’s right next to the hospital so there were ambulances and helicopters. BUT if you left the air conditioning on those noises were diminished. It’s a great location for the hospital and for the airport for those early morning flights. I would stay there again.

Our home is in Sheridan Wyoming, so we drove 1.5 hours to Billings to begin our trip. We arrived around 8pm, the check in was easy and the receptionist was friendly. We appreciated the cookies and popcorn that was available. Our stay was quick, we had a flight to catch at 6am so we were out early. The morning coffee was excellent! We appreciated the location so close to the airport. We will definitely stay there again when we need to fly out of Billings, MT

The area felt safe and well lite. There was a delay big time at our connection and did not arrive until 3am only to be greeted a woman with the biggest smile. She was warm and Welcoming after a long day of travel. The check in and out were easy. Coffee was available for late sleepers. Rooms were very clean and the staff cleaning the rooms were observed working very hard. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

It’s mind boggling to check in and get keys to a room, only to find the room currently occupied. Not once but TWICE while checking in. Front desk personnel was less than sympathetic and fairly unprofessional. We ultimately got an unoccupied room, but yikes! How many people get keys to occupied rooms?

This is a great, quiet and clean hotel that is well located between both hospitals (literally across the street from both) and a short 3-4 minute drive from downtown. The check-in process was quick and easy and the breakfast was generous and had a great variety to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I come to Billings.

One night stay. Staff was friendly. It was a little weird having to be buzzed in the door but it isn’t in a great area.

Clean, quiet, with friendly helpful staff. The location of the property is not so great, however, right next to the hospital in an industrial district. I wouldn’t have felt safe except that the staff assured me that hospital security patrolled the area often.

This property is always our first choice due to its close proximity to the airport and good restaurants, and reasonable prices. Check in is always fast and easy and no matter how early we get up coffee is always available in the lobby!

It’s right next to the hospital so there were ambulances and helicopters. BUT if you left the air conditioning on those noises were diminished. It’s a great location for the hospital and for the airport for those early morning flights. I would stay there again.

Modern, clean, polite, friendly…everything you would expect. Breakfast provided ja good start for the day, waffles, sausage, cereal, etc. Starbucks and The 406 pub are both a short walk so you don’t need to move your car. The 406 has good salads, burgers, etc. and a good selection of craft beer. It is located in the hospital district. Sidewalks, crosswalks make walking easy and safe.

Free breakfast is the smallest I have ever seen at 100s of hotels. Biscuit&Gravy, 2 cereals, toast, and yogurt. It basically took up 3 feet of a counter. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Location is between 2 emergency rooms. Great if you are staying beside hospital for a purpose. The breakfast bar was not worth taking a photo of.

I have stayed at The Hilltop multiple times during my last several trips to Billings and I have never been disappointed. The hotel is nice and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good. I highly recommend staying here.

Very comfortable!! I don’t sleep well easily any where. I had amazing sleep all three nights! The coffee was very good, very hot and plentiful. My only complaint would be how early breakfast was over at 9 am. Most hotels make it 10am. All the staff were kind and helpful.

Nice, clean, quiet room - staff was friendly and helpful. Only 2 drawbacks: 1. Horrible mattress. I could feel the bed slat/supports through the mattress and did not sleep well. Woke up sore. Matresses should be upgraded or at least have a foam pad on the top. 2. Hot water at the sink was turned down to a mere trickle and never really got beyond warm, while the cold side had a good stream. Obviously hot water has been turned down to save money but it was very hard to adequately wash in that situation. Not the best place to save money.

My stay was a last minute booking, the staff was very polite, professional and helpful. Hotel was clean, beds are comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety. Great, easy and convenient access to the hospital. I have now stayed several times at this hotel and would definitely stay again the next time I'll in town.
