Vernon Lodge is a no brainer if you’re staying in the area. Who doesn’t want to hang out in the jungle. The kids love the inward facing courtyard, tropical motif, indoor pool and hot tub.

We had a nice, noisy stay. There were several youth hockey teams in the hotel so it was very noisy with them running up and down the halls and stairs. Using the pool and/or hot tub was completely out of the question. They looked like they were enjoying themselves though so it was OK. The front desk staff were super accommodating and moved us to the top floor in the back corner which made our stay much more relaxing and quieter seeing as we were just on a weekend getaway. We’ve stayed here several times now. The atrium is always great to walk through and relax in (just not so much this time).

It was fine. Room is very basic. Quite noisy though. Food in the courtyard area was very good. Very friendly staff at the service desk.
