My overnight stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Check in was quick and friendly. My room was spacious (King bed) with some kitchen amenities (cutlery, but no plates/bowls) which was OK, given I was able to improvise. Coffee maker, toaster, microwave and bar fridge were quite handy in use. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental style with bagels, wraps, cereal and fresh fruit offered in a room under construction, but a wonderful way to start the day. Staff were friendly. I would stay again as location is walkable to town, but in a quieter and more green space location..

They are obviously working on property but lots to be done. Staff very kind. Air conditioning did not work at all. Wall unit with extension cord hanging from wall, not safe.

It looks like they are trying to update things. The rooms were nice with newer flooring and bed covers. The bathroom needs some updating with disintegrating grout and some mould on the curtain. For breakfast, there was lots of fruit choice, yogurt and cereals. I had emailed and received no response because I am gluten free. There was enough choice for me, thankfully. The rest of my family enjoyed the bagels and banana bread.

The manager was very nice, hard-working, and readily available. It was great for us as we wanted easy access to Bobcaygeon shopping and restaurants. It could definitely use some updating. There was lots of food available for the breakfast.

This was a fairly safe and quiet place, except in the evening we've we could hear everyone gathered around the community fire from our bathroom. Not the biggest of issues but not what I really wanted to listen and hear. Could use a little more parking but I think the issue was the various jeeps with trailers taking up more space than they should. Otherwise parking was really good. Beds were comfy and soft, very clean. The AC was weak and didn't really cool the room down, just kept the room at a comfortable temperature related to outside. Really nice large smart TV. Make watching movies and shows easy and convenient. Overall this was a nice little motel, and it was only 15 minutes from our LARP site that had an event going on at. Made for returning for cool showers midday and being able to stay on site later or sleep in nice since we were really close and could afford the time. Would definitely be willing to stay here again in the future.

The hotel is in a state of refurbishment and am sure it will be a great value option in Bobcaygeon when it is complete. The room needs a deep clean, plus also a safety check especially the smoke alarm which was hanging. The gentleman who checked us in and assisted with the mirror was helpful.

For the price of the room, we found it too expensive. The lady who waited on us was very hard to understand..we needed her to repeat things twice. The room was clean but dated. We turned off the main lights and the tv which we were going to watch also shut off. We have stayed in far cheaper places but more modern conditions. I realize it was the long weekend and prices usually get jacked up. The breakfast room was not at all appealing!!! It could use a major update. The steps going up to our room was so full of cobwebs, i dont think it had been swept in a long time.

Broken glass on floor, pubic hair in the tub, hair in the bed, dripping faucets, tv kept losing signal, soap dish in shower full of old soap scum, moldy shower curtain , A/C is very loud, mirror very streaky, dirty everywhere, very dusty furniture, noisy as hell from people above walking. The person at check in doesn't understand English, he had to call his son to translate, I was still given the wrong room. Finally got the right room but it is very substandard and dirty.

The good: motel was conveniently located. The bad: 1) the a/c did not work properly in the room. 2) Their whole Indian family (10+) was in the small breakfast room taking all the tables, counter space and toaster for a long period of time. Therefore the paying customers left and had to come back when they left. This happened everyday that i was there.

Some bathroom fixtures were broken and the caulking wasn't adhering to the wall around the tub. Electric covers missing. Afraid to use the shower for safety reasons.

First got there and the room was very hot, they hadn’t put the air con on and it was hot out. The toilet leaks. Bathroom door doesn’t fully shut closed. The shower looked like it was in diar need of replacing, when in the shower if someone from a different unit used water you’d get freezing water or scalding water in your shower. No fan in bathroom. The electrical is horrifying, extension cords wired together, fridge, coffee maker and microwave all plugged into a lamp and then plugged in. If you turn a light switch off the tv went off. Ran out of toilet paper the last night and there was no extras in the room, no house keeping services to check on the tp status or clean out your garbages. Just very disappointing and really quite a safety issue.

Management was super nice and very helpful!! Only thing I recommend is getting a room on the second floor so you avoid the footsteps of the people above! 10/10 would stay again!

Our hockey team enjoyed the experience. A small, quiet, neat motel. NO issues. Derrick at front desk was very kind and attentive and helped me book going the extra mile to help under stressful circumstances of a lack of motel rooms available in the area for the tournament. Overall, very satisfactory. No complaints.

Property was clean and looked like they had upgraded the mattress and some of the furniture. It’s in a great location, just a short walk to town. Arrived at 230 and office said open but was locked. Checkin time was for 3pm so we came back around 310. Door still locked doorbell didn’t work, had to pound on the door, finally someone came out of the back to help us. Tried to return the key this morning and same thing, office said open but no one was there so we left the key in the room.

Very convenient location and very friendly staff who helped us with requests such as extra pillows and towels, and even one unusual service request we had. The neighbour next door was extra loud, but it was not the hotel's fault.

Room was clean. Def language barrier at check in. Rolled my ankle on the step down into the breakfast area.

My overnight stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Check in was quick and friendly. My room was spacious (King bed) with some kitchen amenities (cutlery, but no plates/bowls) which was OK, given I was able to improvise. Coffee maker, toaster, microwave and bar fridge were quite handy in use. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental style with bagels, wraps, cereal and fresh fruit offered in a room under construction, but a wonderful way to start the day. Staff were friendly. I would stay again as location is walkable to town, but in a quieter and more green space location..

This was one of the most relaxing calm getaways this Princess motel very clean and functional this was a great experience. Located on Main Street Bobcaygeon walkable to any destination in minutes. What I liked was the kindness of all the people I encountered also the swing bridge in town. The scenery is spectacular, the water is so clean that you can see the bottom. The cleanliness of Bobcaygeon is overwhelming it is a must visit also I will definitely return. A special mention to Derek this wonderful thoughtful man that just does everything with answers to every question asked as helpful hints. Thank you Derek for everything.

This was a fairly safe and quiet place, except in the evening we've we could hear everyone gathered around the community fire from our bathroom. Not the biggest of issues but not what I really wanted to listen and hear. Could use a little more parking but I think the issue was the various jeeps with trailers taking up more space than they should. Otherwise parking was really good. Beds were comfy and soft, very clean. The AC was weak and didn't really cool the room down, just kept the room at a comfortable temperature related to outside. Really nice large smart TV. Make watching movies and shows easy and convenient. Overall this was a nice little motel, and it was only 15 minutes from our LARP site that had an event going on at. Made for returning for cool showers midday and being able to stay on site later or sleep in nice since we were really close and could afford the time. Would definitely be willing to stay here again in the future.

The good: motel was conveniently located. The bad: 1) the a/c did not work properly in the room. 2) Their whole Indian family (10+) was in the small breakfast room taking all the tables, counter space and toaster for a long period of time. Therefore the paying customers left and had to come back when they left. This happened everyday that i was there.

It looks like they are trying to update things. The rooms were nice with newer flooring and bed covers. The bathroom needs some updating with disintegrating grout and some mould on the curtain. For breakfast, there was lots of fruit choice, yogurt and cereals. I had emailed and received no response because I am gluten free. There was enough choice for me, thankfully. The rest of my family enjoyed the bagels and banana bread.

The manager was very nice, hard-working, and readily available. It was great for us as we wanted easy access to Bobcaygeon shopping and restaurants. It could definitely use some updating. There was lots of food available for the breakfast.

The bed, bedding and towels were great. the room itself was VERY dated and in need of a good renovation. The spider webs in the corners were not appealing and the little spider in the corner of the bathroom not much fun. My understanding was I had booked a balcony room but there are no balconies. The breakfast room is an unused room with plywood boards covering the recepticles for the electricity in the room, a small fridge, a coffee maker, a toaster, bagels, bread, 2 kinds of cereal, packaged sweets and yogurt and 2 small tables with chairs. Not my ideas of an included breakfast. There are no smoking signs which is good but did not stop the smoking of weed which infiltrated our room thru the crack in the door. On the plus side the heating is provided by baseboard heaters which eliminates fans going off and on all night long. the motel is on a main street but was relatively quiet after 10 pm. Parking was okay and we had little interface with staff other than checking in upon arrival and dropping off the key upon leaving.

Nice little hotel. A little out of date but no real issues. 5 min walk to kawartha ice-cream store. Our room had a king size bed a sauna and a whirlpool tub. Everything worked. Continental breakfast was decent. I would come back again

The room was very clean and newly decorated. You can drive/ park right at your unit door. Breakfast is basic ( toast, cereal, eggo waffles, coffee) but nice not to have to drive to a restaurant. Very good stay , all in all.
