Hotel Breiseth

We loved our 1 night stay here! The hotel staff was so kind in giving us a complimentary upgrade for our wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We were surprised by a personalized card, a Freia chocolate bar and some Norwegian chips when we arrived to our room - such appreciated personal touches! The hotel has a charming character and history with lots of local paintings. We really enjoyed the breakfast offered, as it included Norwegian waffles with brown cheese, moose salami and other local dishes in addition to the classic breakfast dishes. We’re foodies and loved this! The hotel staff took the initiative to offer advice on our planned road trip to Langedrag Nature Park. We’re so thankful they did, as we avoided ending up on back country roads that would’ve been a bit dangerous to drive. We really appreciated their time and friendliness! We highly recommend staying here! Thanks for making our anniversary feel even more special 😊

Wonderful family room, with comfy bed, clean towels and linens, heated bathroom floor, and small welcome gifts (chocolate, playing cards). The breakfast was good, with traditional Norwegian smorgasbord: several kinds of eggs, pastries, waffler, quality bread, fruit and yogurt, herring and both continental cheese and brunost.
