GOLDEN TULIP CANNES HOTEL de PARIS

This is a great option for Cannes. It is close to the train station and it a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms have veen recently renovated so were very nice and the air-conditioning worked very well. It had a balcony to sit out and shutters to keep the noise out at night. The shower was very strange being over a bath and one that had to be held to use which was a bit inconvenient, but other than that it was newly decorated so very nice. The pool area was great to have, though you have to bring your own towels or rent them from the hotel, which is a bit unusual. The staff were very helpful with our luggage both on arrival and departure as there are a set of stairs at the entrance. Overall I thinkbthis hotel is a great option for Cannes.

Fin beliggenhet, nært å gå til strand, butikker og spisesteder. Det eneste som trekker ned er en veldig støy fra trafikken som man hører veldig godt ved bassenget. Personalet var veldig hyggelig og hotellet fint med store palmer rundt bassenget og spesielt fint gammelt bygg.

Other than Laurent the entire staff were cold and non accommodating! No services at all, 1- parking was a disaster with a 30 euro a day charge 2- did not replace cups or coffee in the room after first day. Even a motel gives free coffee ??? Such a disgrace ! 3- no one answers front desk by telephone 4- 6 euro a day charge to get a towel at swimming pool, room towels not allowed 4- room towels were only changed upon request 5- No facial tissue box provided had to use toilet paper. That is not even a one star motel 6- no cups provided 7- parking at their garage was almost impossible without causing damage. The space was so tight. 8- shampoos and soap were not replaced in our premium room 9- falsely advertised the Croisette was 5 minute walk it was a 15 to 20 minute walk about 15 blocks in 90% heat 10- the neighborhood was not safe 11- the hotel was right next to rail station and a busy highway. With a lot of city noise This is a far cry from a 4 star hotel or an 8 rating I give max 2 star and a 3 rating. Avoid and stay away!!!

Belle hotel tres bien placé avec la gare a proximités mais beaucoup trop bruyant entre la voie rapide et les trains si vous cherchez a vous reposer a la piscine c est pas possible et on nous dit service a la piscine la serveuses n est jamais passer il a fallut téléphoner

Vi boede 4 dage på hotellet eller rettere sat i et lejlighedskompleks overfor hotellet. Ejendommen var fin med nye værelser. Ved ankomst afleverede vi vores bil til valet parking, som koster EUR 30,00 per døgn, men da vi fik bilen retur var de flere mærker og ridser på højre forskærm. Dette gjorde vi receptionisten opmærksom på, men hun kunne ikke hjælpe, da dette ikke var hendes ansvarsområde. Vi har siden væres i dialog med hotellet, der dog helt afviser, at de har haft andel i skaden. Vi kunne fra vores værelse se at bilen var parkeret 3 forskellig steder under vores ophold, og der var meget lidt plads vi parkeringsområdet. Ærgeligt med skader på bil, og vores var kun 14 dage gammel. Poolen på hotellet er iøvrigt kun til børn eller til at køle fødderne i.

Beautiful french hotel, it has been restored to make it a modern and functional hotel with keeping its french charm. Rooms lovely and clean and fresh. Pool area immaculate. Location is perfect for visiting Cannes, a short stroll across the road and you are in amongst the shops, bars and restaurants with the beach a stones throw away. Would return to this hotel again.

Would not recommend this hotel. The area is a bit scary and noisy, the pool was not clean, the hotel is awkward when it comes to getting around and accessing the pool ares. We were not greeted well by the staff in the reception.

Rigtig god beliggenhed. Men meget småt. Da vi ankom virkede elevatoren ikke og den havde ikke virket siden torsdag. Vi kom mandag til tirsdag

Die Zimmer von Expedia im Angebot katastrophal! Keine Minibar, daa Bad war kleinst zu zweit nicht betretbar, Duschwanne uralt nicht mehr zeitgemäß und Fliesenloch….

Very lovely hotel with great pool arena for relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was super clean.

Excellent area, walking distance to the designer shops, shopping, and restaurants. Rooms are pretty small but clean. Good bedding. Staff are helpful. Only issues are the showers have only the hand shower, no head shower. Also rooms have no tea or coffee machine, and you will have to pay for every coffee or tea you get from the hotel. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Un habitación que tenía que agacharme en ciertos lugares para no romperme la cabeza . El baño anticuado y el aire acondicionado colocado al lado de la cama, y a una altura que te da directo al pecho.

Un séjour exceptionnel ! Franchement, c'est un très bel hôtel, propre et bien entretenu. Le personnel est chaleureux, accueillant et toujours à l'écoute. Le confort des chambres est au rendez-vous, le service est excellent. Le petit déjeuner est varié et délicieux, et la restauration en général est de grande qualité. La piscine est également très propre et agréable. J'avais réservé pour deux nuits au départ, mais j’ai tellement apprécié que j’ai prolongé mon séjour à 10 jours ! Un grand merci à tout le personnel pour leur professionnalisme et leur gentillesse. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation!

Niveau bas tres serré Niveau haut (chambre) plafond trop bas. Salle de bain vieillotte. Carrelage repeins en blanc Mobilier abîmé par l'eau de la douche.

Shower would leak but didn’t prevent it from working. Did not have hot water our last day. Would stay again just not in our room with stairs to the loft.

I like the place but I didn’t feel like the value was there for the amount it cost per night. I didn’t like that it had a community ironing room (as opposed to a iron in the room or even a iron that could be bought to the the room) I’m 6 foot 2 so the loft type room had me walking around ducking. Like I said the place was cool but the value wasn’t there for the price. Do t get me wrong if I needed to go to Cannes and it was the only place available I might stay there again but not if the price is what is was when I went this time.

Room did not look as in pictures at all. No view at all from balcony due to very high wall/fence. Missed having water boiler/coffee or tea options in the room.

Top Hotel in bester Lage, 4-5 Min Fußweg zu Croissete, auch hochwertige Fahrzeuge können bedenkenlos auf den öffentlich Parkplätzen geparkt werden. Die Zimmer könnten ein wenig größer sein, Frühstücksbuffet leider ohne Tomaten oder Gurken. Schöner Garten mit tollem Pool. Preis-Leistung stimmt absolut. Wir haben dort 10 Tage als Paar geschlafen

chambre avec balcon mais le balcon était un mur juste un mur ( voir photo ) une honte ! de plus il fallait se plier en 2 pour accéder à la fenêtre honteux

Appartments super super dirty and extra charge for cleaning. Reception rude. Service personel extremely friendly.

Hotel muito bem equipado, com uma equipe extremamente atenciosa e prestativa. O quarto é amplo, com cama confortável e todos os itens necessários para uma estadia agradável. A localização também é excelente: próximo ao centro, aos principais pontos turísticos e, especialmente, ao terminal de trem, o que facilitou bastante nossa locomoção. Com certeza voltaríamos!

Coming here for the Cannes Film Festival, this location was well priced for its proximity to the festival. It was quiet as not on the Croisette but close enough that I could go back to change in between parties. A quiet location, I enjoyed the AC and the sight of the pool but it was too cold and rainy to actually take a dip. I would book here again.

Das Frühstück war nicht gut. Keine Tomaten. Es wurde auch nichts nachgereicht.

Small rooms, and a hotel that overall needed an update 10 years ago. Nice pool area but the pool was dirty. The breakfast was gross. Only positive was Laurent’s service. Overpriced..

Ældre hotel, der godt kunne trænge til en opfriskning. Ikke nok ansatte. Skulle ofte vente på den i forvejen lille morgenmads buffet blev fyldt op. Service omkring poolen var fin, når de havde tid til det. Hotellet ligger ok ift midtbyen. Men mht pris vs. kvalitet, så var hotellet for dyrt

The pool area was beautiful and a nice break from the heat. Would have liked the air conditioning a bit cooler. The breakfast was great.

I should have had VIP access, I had to ask about the room credit for beverages of €39, I complained about our room as it was dark like a dungeon and even though there was a upgrade available I was charged €315 to change room, Expedia then offered me the option to upgrade to the same room for €205 after I had paid as the hotel Insists on card details,city tax upfront, then when I asked for some more coffee in the room we used the 4 pods over 4 days and I was charged €3 per pod, the staff were pretty friendly but still it felt like they wanted to draw every possible penny from you… breakfast was really poor, there were coach trips staying from Germany and breakfast was chaos, we stayed a week and the last bit one day there was no coach tour stating and we came down to an amazing breakfast which was strange there were French toast pancakes brioche .. extra charcuterie jams spreads coffee pods for a machine, then the last day it was the same so I asked why and was told the touts pay €4 for breakfast and we paid €20 so rather than give the tour too much we had to pay €16 extra each day and they seem to feel this was acceptable…all in all this should not be a VIP property as you definitely do not get any extra… feel totally financially abused by this property that we went to for our tenth wedding anniversary
