Great hotel with pleasant lobby and bar. The location is near le port so no need for a car once you are settled in in your hotel. You can visit the city by foot.

Lovely hotel in the heart of La Rochelle. We had a room in the annexe which was good because at the time there were extensive renovations taking place to the exterior of the main building which was shrouded in green fabric. Internally it was renovated I believe last year to a very high standard and was modern whilst retaining many original features. Parking available on site is a must, at an extra cost, but is well worth the charge. Breakfast was plentiful and very busy but we always managed to get a good table. The staff were all extremely efficient and although their English was better than our French, they let us persevere in French, at our request. Lots of good restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Really can’t fault this hotel. We would definitely book again on future visits.

This has to be the nicest hotel in La Rochelle!! The staff, day and night, were very helpful and super nice! The hotel was redone a year ago, and it shows! The rooms are so beautifully appointed and modern! The location is perfect, four minutes walk to the Vieux Port and city center. They have a few things for dinner, which was very convenient (and good!) for our late (ish) arrival. They have several parking spots for guests, which again, was very convenient. Loved, loved this hotel!!

Key to our stay was the provision of secure parking. The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff were particularly helpful. Albeit the rooms were well kitted out, we did find the toilet quite cramped. English tea would be useful along with some fresh milk for the rooms, may be a small fridge would assist. We would most definitely stay upon our next visit.

A great location for walking around La Rochelle and the added bonus of on-site parking. Our booking was for a Superior Room, however I felt that the room was on the small size and the bathroom lighting was far from superior as were the towels .. very thin and one had a hole. New towels need to be on top of the “to do” list. Breakfast was excellent and the welcome cocktail was appreciated.

Parking gereserveerd, maar niet beschikbaar. Geen trolley voor zware bagage. Kleine kamer (40 cm tussen bed en muur). Toilet spoelt door na 2 beurten. Geen zeep in flacons douche en lavabo. Werd na melding bij incheck niet vervangen. Heel slechte WiFi. Check-in personeel niet vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geen plaats voor in- en uitladen bagage in smalle straat. Betaalparking is op 12 min. wandelafstand. Water lauw, en duurt 5 minuten eer je dat lauw water krijgt. Zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Excellent séjour dans cet hotel , très bien placé proche du port. Chambre duplex avec grand écran à chaque étage.le lit principal est très confortable. Très belle salle d'eaux ! À noter des produits cosmétiques offerts. La chambre est très propre. Le lieu est très calme et l ambiance assez cosy. Petit déjeuner de qualité mais pas assez fourni comparer à d autres hôtel 3 étoiles. Présence d un parking payant mais indispensable compte tenue de la localisation. Personnel agréable et toujours disponible. Je recommande fortement cet hotel !

Fantastiskt smakfullt hotell bara minuters promenad till gamla hamnen . Mysig lobbybar samt restauranger runt hörnet överallt . Bra parkering bakom grind på innergården . Såg den när man körde sakta låg strax innan hotellet på höger sida . Mycket trevlig personal 👍

Nous avons été un peu déçus 😞 par notre chambre, de très mauvaises odeurs dans le couloir menant à notre chambre, dans celle ci il y avait de tres fortes remontées d'égouts, le ménage de la salle d'eau ( glace et robinetterie pas nettes, glace remplie de peluche de chiffon, et robinetterie pas nettoyée. Dommage ,nous en avons fait part à notre depart ,l'hôtesse d'accueil à fait un petit geste ,nous avons eu nos places de parking (4nuits) gratuites .Merci à l'hôtesse . Par contre à savoir , il n'y a pas d ascenceur du sous sol à l'accueil. Malgré ces petits désagréments nous avons passé un bon séjour .

Beautiful hotel in very central location for exploring La Rochelle. Clean and nicely renovated room with comfortable bed. The hotel parking was a big plus for us. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The only negatives were that it was very noisy outside our room particularly on one night. I think we were unlucky with the side of the hotel our room was on. There was also only a very thin curtain so light came through in h the morning. Overall we were very happy with the stay.

This was such a lovely hotel - very clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were beautiful too. The staff were very helpful and we actually upgraded our room. The location was perfect for us, everything we needed was nearby and is was a short walk to the marina.Would definitely book again.

I had a room upgrade for some reason, to one of the rooms at the top. It had a sloping roof but was spacious and had a cosy seating area. The place was modern, clean, quiet and well-furnished and looked like a sympathetically converted established building in a plum location. They have water fountains on each corridor to cut down on plastic bottles. The breakfast was a proper one, with hot options like bacon, eggs and beans. Staff were extremely attentive though my only reservation was that despite my telling them on check-in that it would not be necessary to come in and check if I had enough coffee sachets on my tray, they did. And at the same time they put back on the bed the pile of unnecessary cushions, the removal of which is the first thing I do in any hotel. Who needs that many anyway? I got the impression that they had other motives for coming in to the room and it felt a little intrusive. But I couldn't fault it otherwise and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Pas de livret d’accueil dans les chambres et après on nous demande de quitter la chambre à 11h alors qu’il n’y a rien de marqué dans les chambres. Odeur de café dans la chambre …. Les disettes usagés de café des précédents clients toujours la machine . Bonde de douche pas fixé. Et responsable à l’accueil le matin , à peine bonjour et pas du tout souriante.

Perfektes Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt: Ausreichend großes, ruhiges Zimmer mit guten Betten; großes Frühstücksbuffet, im hellen Wintergartenartigen Innenhof. Sehr freudliches und hilfbereites Person. Ideal gelegen um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden, bis zum Hafen sind es nur wenige Meter.

Nettes, kleines Hotel im Zentrum, Zimmer sind ok, klimatisiert, gutes Frühstück, freundliches Service, Zimmer werden "wegen Corona" nur auf Anfrage gereinigt, WLAN ist eher langsam. Sonst passt aber alles, gerne wieder.

Dejligt hotel som ligger i et virkeligt stille kvarter men dog super centralt, med virkelig mange restauranter lige om hjørnet. Meget rent og pænt. Personalet er dog ikke så imødekommende, men hvis man er ligeglad om de kigger op når man kommer ind så er det jo lige meget.

I had a room upgrade for some reason, to one of the rooms at the top. It had a sloping roof but was spacious and had a cosy seating area. The place was modern, clean, quiet and well-furnished and looked like a sympathetically converted established building in a plum location. They have water fountains on each corridor to cut down on plastic bottles. The breakfast was a proper one, with hot options like bacon, eggs and beans. Staff were extremely attentive though my only reservation was that despite my telling them on check-in that it would not be necessary to come in and check if I had enough coffee sachets on my tray, they did. And at the same time they put back on the bed the pile of unnecessary cushions, the removal of which is the first thing I do in any hotel. Who needs that many anyway? I got the impression that they had other motives for coming in to the room and it felt a little intrusive. But I couldn't fault it otherwise and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Pas de livret d’accueil dans les chambres et après on nous demande de quitter la chambre à 11h alors qu’il n’y a rien de marqué dans les chambres. Odeur de café dans la chambre …. Lovely hotel in the heart of La Rochelle. We had a room in the annexe which was good because at the time there were extensive renovations taking place to the exterior of the main building which was shrouded in green fabric. Internally it was renovated I believe last year to a very high standard and was modern whilst retaining many original features. Parking available on site is a must, at an extra cost, but is well worth the charge. Breakfast was plentiful and very busy but we always managed to get a good table. The staff were all extremely efficient and although their English was better than our French, they let us persevere in French, at our request. Lots of good restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Really can’t fault this hotel. We would definitely book again on future visits.

Beautiful hotel in very central location for exploring La Rochelle. Clean and nicely renovated room with comfortable bed. The hotel parking was a big plus for us. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The only negatives were that it was very noisy outside our room particularly on one night. I think we were unlucky with the side of the hotel our room was on. There was also only a very thin curtain so light came through in h the morning. Overall we were very happy with the stay.

À noter des produits cosmétiques offerts. La chambre est très propre. Le lieu est très calme et l ambiance assez cosy. Petit déjeuner de qualité mais pas assez fourni comparer à d autres hôtel 3 étoiles. Présence d un parking payant mais indispensable compte tenue de la localisation. Personnel agréable et toujours disponible. Je recommande fortement cet hotel !

Beautiful setting and perfect location, right in the heart of La Rochelle but still quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the chamber maid who kindly knocked on our door and offered us new towels, tea bags etc, great service thankyou.

We loved this hotel! Comfortable, quiet room, with air conditioning and a quick lift to the top floor. Delicious breakfast, with loads of choice and helpful accommodation for gluten free and vegan options. Gym basic but grateful for it and the outside seating was calm, shady and relaxing. Right in the centre of everything, sights, shops and restaurants. Special shout out to the incredibly friendly and helpful Neil and Thomas for making our 20th wedding anniversary perfect, including calling restaurants in French for us to confirm reservations, and arranging for our bed to be scattered with rose petals etc. All the other staff were also wonderful. We will return!
