Parking. There was none reserved for the hotel patrons.

I was put in room 101 that had the door to the water park right outside. Every time someone opened the door it screeched and then slammed shut. Parking isn’t the greatest.

I really appreciated the large jetted tub and wonderful breakfast complete with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and biscuits and gravy. Only downside was the elevator needed updating and we signed up for an Executive Suite and received a standard two queen room. However, you can't beat the price for this. Great value.

The hotel was very dirty. Fitness room door broke. Hallways filthy. Wallpaper coming off of walls in room. This hotel was probably very nice at one time but was showing wear. Staff were not customer focused but complained about job - multiple ones - which speaks to the culture.

Perfect location attached to Splash Lagoon. Stairwell could use a little more cleaning attention. Staff was great

Room was clean & beds comfortable, but the elevators are in extremely poor condition. We got stuck in there for 30+ minutes until the fire department was able to get us out. None of the emergency buttons worked, the emergency phone was inaccessible, the whole panel was super loose, and no inspection tags were posted. Once we were finally freed, we had to walk up 5 flights of stairs with luggage to our room. The Manager of the hotel has not returned our phone call, and we didn’t even receive an apology for our inconvenience.

The room was very nice, but the lobby floor was extremely sticky and the inside of the elevator was very run down. The hotel in general needs a bit of an overhaul.

Connected to splash lagoon next door. Very clean hotel would highly recommend for families with young children

Most of the ice machines were broken during the stay, but everything else was great.

Been staying at this hotel 2-3 per year during the summer times. Kids have a seasons pass at Splash Lagoon and this hotel is attached to it which makes it easier. The good: Decent price considering the stay comes with hot breakfast. As stated above, hotel is connected to water park which makes it convenient for the family. Hotel is located near shopping area and restaurants. The bad: Rooms are really old and outdated. Bathrooms are a 4/10 in terms of appearance and cleanliness. Sofa beds have stains and looks like it was purchased in the early 2000s. Bed sheets are not changed during the duration of your stay and they only replace towels and toiletries when asked. Parking can be a bit difficult during the day as it is shared with the waterpark. Overall 5/10: would come back only because of the family and how it is connected to the waterpark. But you can definitely find nicer hotels near by.

Brd Bugs in my room

Unfortunately the sheets and pillow on one of the beds had stains. It looks like it was washed but stained which is not acceptable. The dinning room was completely dirty and food all over the floor. I understand that on bussy days, it gets dirty but this is when the hotel staff have to be hands on and be cleaning more frequently. If extra payment is necesary then be it. Elevators need maintenance. In my opinion, the hotel does not comply with a hotel chain like Wyndham. Only thing that will keep me coming but now only in winter is the convenience of the waterpark

Dirty! They have and on going problem with cockroaches and bed bugs. You can smell it and can see the overspray left from the chemicals they spray on the headboards. The lack of cleanliness in this hotel is a health hazard!

Too dirty in an elevator and old room with a carpet

We were given a “complimentary upgrade” to an executive suite because they double-booked our room. We walked in to find water all over the floor around the A/C unit because no one had emptied the pan. There were cracks in the sink, the grout was hanging out of the shower tiles, there was mold around the soap dispensers, the shower curtain was stained with what looked like red paint, and the handle on the faucet was loose. We only asked for the A/C unit to be resolved because we were only staying for one night. However, after we returned from dinner, we found bugs all over the counter in the unused kitchen. I went down to the front desk to inform them that we were leaving, and the girl at the desk offered to clean up the bugs like my husband and I would want to stay there with our eight-month-old after that. We drove home at 10:45 PM after returning our room keys. I called the next day to get a refund, and Jaime, the Assistant General Manager, said his hands were tied and that I needed to call hotels.com. I did, and they said they had to call the hotel to get permission to issue the refund, which Jamie then denied. I left a voicemail and called numerous times to speak with the General Manager, Manzie, who did not return my calls until after I called the corporate office. She said she would issue the refund but was unavailable when hotels.com called back. She has yet to respond to their email or issue the refund. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn of any kind ever again.

Has Wonderful potential! You can tell it's a busy property and the cleaning is not kept up with very well. I wouldn't call it disgusting by any means but in a high need of a deep clean. Staff was very friendly and you can't beat the location.

Service was great but the condition of the hotel was not. We have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express and they are great. the carpet was stained the bathroom toilet was not cleaned and the breakfast had none of their signature cinnamon rolls

The property was in disrepair and our room was dirty. However, the water was hot and towels clean. The breakfast was poor, with limited selection, broken waffle maker and questionable milk for coffee.

Staff was polite. Location fine. The main issue was the physical room needed maintenance. The A/C-heat. either blew hot or freezing cold. It was such an uncomfortable night. The toilet was stuck in a semi flush position, and noisy all night as well. The coffee machine looked as though no one every cleaned it.

Very outdated and our room had old dirty socks in it.. couch bed was very uncomfortable and breakfast was lackluster. Room was very large, however, and staff was nice.

The hotel is just ok. Its convenient for Splash lagoon and its proximity to downtown Erie. But its not the cleanest place we have stayed. It was also clearly understaffed. It is also noisy, you can hear everything in the halls and even outside if you are unfortunate enough to have a room on the front side.

The room size was spacious - it would be big enough for a family of six and everyone would be comfortable!

The property is rundown. The rooms need updating as does the rest of the hotel.

Beds uncomfortable , shower handle broken, water handle on tub broken, couldn’t a shower. Manager offered no resolution.

Overall the hotel/our room was clean, the hallways got cluttered, but that is understandable considering it is attached to Splash Lagoon. Our only issue, was housekeeping skipped our room. This was a great location for our activities at Presque Isle, Waldameer, and the zoo.

The actual room was decent but the only bench in the entire area was directly outside our window. Multiple nights, we were woken up by people yelling and partying outside at the bench. The bench should be removed or placed away from rooms which will be occupied (or people should be a little more courteous of others…) Breakfast seemed a little disorganized as well. They completely ran out of utensils one day and were out of food items for an extended period of time multiple days. With the amount of guests utilizing the breakfast amenity, it was very inconvenient.

The executive suite was large with a setting area, kitchenette with full size fridge, and a seperate bedroom. The bathroom had a shower with a nice jetted tub. The room was clean and quiet. There is no in room safe. The beds were not queen size as stated. The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants and about a 10 minute drive to Presque Isle beach.

This Hotel Changed my Reservation without Notice, and then over booked the room so there were no rooms to be had so when i arrived. I had no reservation and no option to stay there They SUCK.

Hello once I arrived at the property, they stated that I could not check in and I was left outside with our room, but you guys charged me for the room. They said that they were booked because I didn't arrive at the check-in time. I would like my money back because I was literally left with our room with my kids. I had to rush around and find us another hotel.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept. Overall the facility is in need of a some updates and upkeep but the great staff and cleanliness stand out

I had a great experience at check in with Michelle. She went above and beyond to assist me. The Eat n Park restaurant down the street is one of my all time favorite places to eat.

This hotel and the staff was great. The girl that helped me was on point and had her stuff together. She prevented me from having to hotel hop another day and check out and re check back in. She was kind and made the hotel stay way more enjoyable nice ending to my trip.

I usually try to look past little issues, but this stay was unacceptable: 1. The toilet door wouldn’t lock from the inside—even after I reported it, maintenance never fixed it. 2. The shower head was leaking so badly I barely had water pressure. 3. There’s “room service,” but when you ask they only bring towels and refuse to make your bed. 4. Breakfast was supposed to run until 10 AM, yet they started clearing everything at 9:45. 5. The hotel was clearly understaffed—one front-desk rep was juggling check-ins, housekeeping requests and more. 6. Staff looked exhausted, overwhelmed and frankly rude, probably due to cost-cutting and lack of help. Save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else. I won’t be back.

I booked 4 nights. They had me in for 2 nights and then charged me again. Said i shouldn't have used expedia to book. Tried to make me check out after 2 nights. So had to talk to manager again. She talked to me like I was some kind of idiot. She finally said she contacted Expedia to get payment and i was good for a couple more night's. I have yet to receive my payment back for the nights they charged me twice for. Water Park is not included in the stay. So had to pay another $150 a day for that. They only clean the room if you are leaving. If you need fresh towels or the trash picked up, you have to go to the front desk. Hair in the bathroom from previous guests. Bottom of tub hadnt been cleaned in who knows how long. I had to clean it myself. Overall not worth the money you pay and definitely need to work on customer service skills. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Overnight staff only one person. Did not answer phone. Was not at desk during the night when I needed them. I kept calling desk and walking to desk for 45 minutes Actually walked outside thinking maybe door would ring something to get attention. Nobody arrived. I called phone direct phone number and finally answered. Claimed was at desk. FYI I disagree. My room first floor. When he spoke all I heard was I from him I had to get breakfast I am only one tonight. I I I I. I didn’t tell him about tub issue only asked for toothpaste he said contact housekeeping at 9 am. Now I was annoyed and couldn’t wait to leave. I said last night she said if needed due to missing bag she had at desk and pulled it out so knew it was available. Now I insisted he check please. He knew right where to look at it was at desk once I insisted. Other staff at check in and check out very friendly and nice. Several hours later breakfast. Breakfast had moldy bagels. Toaster didn’t work. I pointed out to different morning staff who was very kind. Yogurt was good. Many other choices which looked good but after the bagel issue. I was done. Tub did not have a proper stopper. Sink dripped all night. Room was clean.

I have stayed at this property a few times and I am pleased. The only disappointment this time was the front desk lady who checked me in she was rude and not the first impression you want She had an issue with me booking thru Expedia

Stay enjoyable overall even though no room service (did not make up the beds or change the bedding or towels throughout the duration of stay)

This property was very convenient, right off I90 west, staff so friendly and provided everything we needed, room was so spacious, clean and toiletry items provided ( body wash, shampoo and conditioner) I got 2 rooms and it was great with teenagers, splash lagoon next to property. Breakfast included, a lot of food always available for the breakfast time frame. Recommend this property right for the price.

The fact that it is literally attached to Splash Lagoon makes it a winner! The room was comfortable (perfect view of the Eclipse!) and the included breakfast was quite good!

Had a great stay for our 16th anniversary. So close to everything.

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was lacking on a Wednesday morning. Limited items, no silverware, and most of the lights turned off.

The amenities included a full breakfast and we did not get that. I usually base my bookings on whether a facility has a full breakfast, to find out when we get there that they do not is in my opinion, false advertising. And for this reason, I probably will not stay at this particular hotel again.

The room was clean and reasonably priced although some items show wear (torn curtain, torn couch cushion, spots on ceiling). Breakfast options were good for an included breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, breads, make your own waffle, etc.). Probably not suitable for business travelers as this is a stay location for families going to the attached swim park. We stay here to visit Presque Isle when our favorite B & B is sold out. We were in Room 408 which was surprisingly quiet (back side of building away from road/freeway). We checked in online and just had to confirm ID and the credit card. The front desk was friendly.

The hotel needs some updating, the elevator is missing all the important information, beds and pillows were too firm and our pull out bed was missing sheets. The breakfast was a disappointment no breakfast meat , very limit selection of bread, bagels and muffins.
