The hotel its self was nice. Seems like a hangout spot for whomever would like to come. People are out front hanging out DRUNK and loud all night. Tried to workout, there was someone inside braiding hair and listening to music while others were just hanging out on the equipment. I tried to mention it to the front desk but I was told that’s allowed. Very unprofessional, seems like a brand new hotel that’s a reasonable price is going to be ruined due to unprofessionalism and no authority or structure.

I enjoyed my stay at the property. The front desk associate was very friendly and quick with checking me in. I was on the 4th floor at the end of the hall. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable but being that the bed frame was metal and the floors were laminate, any movement in the bed made a sound on the floor. The parking lot is narrow. My only issues I had was on the front door a sign was posted about not smoking within 25 yards of the entrance but there was a guy sitting on a stool smoking a cigar right beside the front door. Also someone was in their car in the parking lot playing really loud music at 10:00.

Great hotel if you like to use your room key for EVERYTHING! Cant get to elevators without room key, cant ride elevator without using room key, laundry room, fitness center all needs room key. No dishes, coffee pot, silver ware nothing unless you PAY to use. Room is white glove CLEAN.

I wavered between 1 and 2 stars for this review. While the property is new and clean, we had several issues. Upon arrival, our assigned room was still dirty so they had to find us another one. (8:30 at night mind you and booked the day before). The room doors are very noisy and I heard them slam all night. The raised beds squeak every time you move. We had only 1 tiny shampoo bottle and a bar of soap for toiletries. Upon waking to shower, I could not find a hairdryer. The front desk didn’t have one either. And then the last straw was not being able to get any hot water in the shower. So needless to say I couldn’t shower and the lady at the front desk was just like, “well, we are a new hotel”. So, if you want to be assured of being able to shower before going to the airport or your special event, I wouldn’t stay here.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. I booked a stay for my daughter who was there for a quick visit for a taekwondo tournament in Richmond. After a long day of competing, my daughter returned to her room in the evening to find a HUGE cockroach on top of her clothes!! She was mortified and hotel staff did not help or offer to get the bug and move her room or anything. A stranger was kind enough to get the cockroach out for her and hotel offered no apologies or anything. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you enjoy dirty rooms with bugs.

This room was not clean upon the day. The bathroom was filthy. Notified front desk came and inspected. Said there was nothing she could do because she was not housekeeping about 10 to 20 minutes later she then call back up and offer another room.

The hotel was quite affordable, and surprisingly clean with everything in the room in very good condition. The unit was like new, and I felt very comfortable staying at the Woodspring Suites (Richmond Airport) location.

The room was immaculately clean. Beds were very comfortable. It's a new property so that was expected. Location is very convenient to everything from grocery stores, mall, and several restaurants. As well as a stone's throw to RIC airport. I do wish that there was a breakfast included though. Also loved the kitchenette with full sized fridge. Overall, I would definitely book there again.

It was very loud. I could hear the upstairs neighbors talking, the baby laughing, stomping around, and dropping things on the hard floors. Doors opening and closing loudly at all hours. I barely got any sleep.

The room was fantastic. It was like a home feeling. Very spacious and loved having full size refrigerator with freezer. Kroger store right across street to get groceries. Lots of fast food around close to walk too. Will definitely stay there again.

Very beautiful property and staff was very nice. Rooms are clean and beautiful. It was not quiet though. Unfortunately a lot of noisy guests. I checked in just before midnight and the guests on my floor were slamming doors in the hallway with phones on with loud music until 2:30am. I had driven all day and then had to get up at 5:30am to drive all day again. I know it’s not the hotels fault but disappointed they didn’t do anything especially since we were on the first floor right by the front desk. I know they could hear it but didn’t stop it. Very upsetting and frustrating and I’m exhausted :0 (

Front desk service was very friendly. I didn't catch her name, unfortunately, but the gal working was very customer-service centric and is great at her job. The overall facilities were clean and new. These are my only positive takeaways. However, I stay at a lot of hotels for work and here are the three major issues I encountered. 1) For a 'suite' style hotel these suites were missing everything a normal suite w/ kitchenette usually have. There was no hair dryer, no cutlery, no dishes, no glasses, no silverware, no paper towel, no dish soap, no iron, etc. Everything is by request only. This is unacceptable. If I pay for a suite I should not have to request basic items, like plates. 2) NOISE. This is one of the noisiest hotels I have ever stayed in. The doors slam so loud and there is no way to prevent from hearing this. There is no reason for the doors to be this heavy. You can hear every noise made in the hallways and in the rooms surrounding you. 3) The bed. I am still sore from this mattress. It was horrible quality. And the bed frame was appalling. This bed was on a stilt-style frame, which I have never seen in a commercial property. Either the floors or the stilts/legs were uneven, as not all legs touched the floor. Furthermore, the metal legs had no rubber protectors on them, so the bed slid around with every movement, including something as simple as getting out from the bed. One of the worst sleeps of my life. Would not stay here again.

Had a great stay on my visit. It was close to plenty of food options and shopping center. Plus easy to get on the highway to get downtown. Everyone working the front counter was nice and super helpful and helped us with any questions and requests we had. The room was perfect, clean, and had kitchen amenities for us to store our leftovers we brought back from dinner. Definitely coming back next visit.

What I didn't like about the property was that me and my husband had to wait for over an hour before we could check in to our room. Also, it needs to be stated that you need to have pots, pans, silverware, and all the things that you have to have to cook and clean with while you are staying there for a weekend. I know that some are long time residents, however, you still have those who are not. I was also told that I might be able to get compensated in some way because of the late check in time.

Absolutely horrible experience. Disrespectful staff and management. They use profanity towards me and nothing was done. They would speak ill about other clients and guest that were at the hotel as well as myself. I have never been so disgusted by any hotel chain at this particular location. I will not be coming back to any WoodSprings, but mostly will not be returning or recommending this particular location.

I called early before booking and spoke to Assad. I asked about the address and let him know I would be coming now for early check in, he said that is fine and “see you soon”. Upon arriving they switched up and said they have no rooms available for early check in. I told them I was JUST on the phone and was told to come now. They then refused a refund and kept saying it’s a strict policy, even though they’re the ones who told me to come. Upon simply asking for a refund they laughed in me and my boyfriend’s face (who is a hardworking police officer), and hung up in our face. I’ve already taken this to corporate but this was the worst experience ever. He told me to come and then had nothing for me, I would’ve NEVER booked if he did not say I could come early. Terrible, disrespectful, unprofessional staff. Beautiful hotel with shotty workers. Needs to be looked into and I’m already on it.

I enjoyed my stay at the property. The front desk associate was very friendly and quick with checking me in. I was on the 4th floor at the end of the hall. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable but being that the bed frame was metal and the floors were laminate, any movement in the bed made a sound on the floor. The parking lot is narrow. My only issues I had was on the front door a sign was posted about not smoking within 25 yards of the entrance but there was a guy sitting on a stool smoking a cigar right beside the front door. Also someone was in their car in the parking lot playing really loud music at 10:00.

The manager, Althea was very professional and helpful in more ways than one. Being stuck in Winter Storm Blair was one thing, but she made sure things were good to go. She deserves more than a pat on the back for doing her job beyond the fullest extent. So, thank you Althea from your friends in TX.

My daughter was unable to check in because Expedia said that the check-in age was 18 and when we got there, they say that their policy is 21 even after attempted to change it to my name, they did not us. Y’all need to confirm with the owner the check in Age requirement.

Had a great stay on my visit. It was close to plenty of food options and shopping center. Plus easy to get on the highway to get downtown. Everyone working the front counter was nice and super helpful and helped us with any questions and requests we had. The room was perfect, clean, and had kitchen amenities for us to store our leftovers we brought back from dinner. Definitely coming back next visit.

The hotel was quite affordable, and surprisingly clean with everything in the room in very good condition. The unit was like new, and I felt very comfortable staying at the Woodspring Suites (Richmond Airport) location.

For a hotel in/near Richmond it's extremely affordable. It's clean, amenities are modest. Being an extended stay hotel makes it different, in that there are many long-term residents more or less making it their home for the time being. Sunday morning at 7 am someone decided to play their radio very loudly which was a bit of a nuisance. For the location and price it's a good deal.

The room was fantastic. It was like a home feeling. Very spacious and loved having full size refrigerator with freezer. Kroger store right across street to get groceries. Lots of fast food around close to walk too. Will definitely stay there again.

The room was immaculately clean. Beds were very comfortable. It's a new property so that was expected. Location is very convenient to everything from grocery stores, mall, and several restaurants. As well as a stone's throw to RIC airport. I do wish that there was a breakfast included though. Also loved the kitchenette with full sized fridge. Overall, I would definitely book there again.

Everything was new and in working condition. The hotel is mostly designed for long term stays so there was a full refrigerator and microwave. There was no coffee pot or hair dryer.

The property/room was clean. Very friendly at check-in.. For a "suite" there was no coffee maker in the room or on the property. Fortunately, i asked one of the housekeepers about it. She took me into the office for a cup, 🙏. Beds could use upgrading. I was only there overnight, so itcsufficed and the price was good.

The hall way smelled so bad. The walls are paperthin. Although you have a full fridge, kitchen and stove - no coffee machine, plasticware, soap in the bathroom.

Great hotel if you like to use your room key for EVERYTHING! Cant get to elevators without room key, cant ride elevator without using room key, laundry room, fitness center all needs room key. No dishes, coffee pot, silver ware nothing unless you PAY to use. Room is white glove CLEAN.

Love the upgrade that they have now with the dishwasher. And again the staff is so friendly wonderful ladies that worked the front desk. They make you feel like you’re at home. Again again, I will rate this hotel 10 out of 10.

Sorry to say, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. My room was booked for 21 days. Here are the rules for long term guess: room service every 14 days, take your trash to the dumpster, if you need fresh linen have to go to the front desk. Some of the staff was rude everyday. Most of the linen is stained. The are two burners in the room but you have to either bring your own pans/pots or buy theirs for $30. No iron or ironing board in the rooms. The hotel has ONE set for the entire hotel you can borrow.also no telephone
