Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse

The location was great. The TV needed some explanation on what was available to watch. The shower/tub was a little hard to get in and out of. We had ants in the kitchen area and a few in the bathroom. The ants got into a bag of pastries we left on the counter in the kitchen area for the next days breakfast, so that was disappointing. Furniture is pretty old and outdated.

Very dog friendly place. Room was comfortable. So was bed. Very welcoming place. Nice break from TV. Quiet and felt secure and safe. We will definitely return and recommend. I sign to the check in office would have been helpful because they didn't have my phone number to text instructions. Took me a while to find the office.

Property was charming. There were dedicated spaces for each of the rooms. Inside, the units were decorated nicely with antiques corresponding with the age of the property. The staff thoughtfully provided nice touches from a complimentary split of wine to a flashlight, as well as fresh coffee grounds for the Mr Coffee. We had our dog with us and a dog bed, a sheet, dog bowls , a frisbee, dog poop bags and treats were provided. It was too warm for the fireplace and Duraflame logs. However in cooler weather, that would have been very welcome. If we had any criticism, it would be a decided residual smokiness from the previous occupant’s use and a scarcity of windows that can open.

Nice set up with comfortable furnishings commensurate with the overall feel of the property. The unit was clean. Most everything is handled electronically over text messaging so you can arrive, stay and leave without ever interacting with others.

This place is charming. The room was spacious with fireplace and large bathroom with a 2-person tub. The bed was comfy. The staff accommodating and parking on site.
