Bed so cozy…..beautiful windows with old wavy glass. Right on a Main Street. Antique shops and restaurants walking distance. Can see the lake from the front yard a block away. I have stayed with these awesome people many times and will do so many more times. Lovely huge front porch under the oak trees with porch swings and sofas….. I’m an introvert……..peace and quiet in my room….if I feel social I just step outside and take a walk to the lake and watch the sun set from a bench under the oak trees. Can you tell I feel like home here?❤️

It is right in a perfect place for the cultural food and traditional houses. The LaLou across the street has amazing breakfasts. Our place is was so clean and cozy. We hope to stay there again soon.

The house in Girod was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Our family stayed in the Rosalie suite and it showed even better in person! I couldn’t believe how spacious it was and the owners took great care to maximize every inch of living space. There were so many drawers and storage areas for clothing etc…, the beds and bedding were very comfortable and the space was incredibly clean and inviting. And again, the suite is surprisingly spacious. The owners had coffee pods and creamers at the ready which was very helpful. This particular part of Mandeville is quaint and walkable to all restaurants and the waterfront. We ate delicious food, rode bikes( bicycle rental is steps away) and enjoyed having little to do for the long Easter weekend. We highly recommend the House on Girod to anyone visiting Mandeville!
