My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Hyatt Place Reno. Every staff member we interacted with was professional and friendly. Our room was large, modern and very comfortable. We enjoyed the modern furnishings throughout the hotel and loved the outdoor seating options. The optional breakfast was beautifully presented with many food choices including sausages, pancakes, French toast, eggs, fresh mixed fruit and vanilla yogurt with multiple toppings to add. Our only disappointments were with the pool and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was apparently closed for repair, although there wasn’t a sign stating so, and we discovered this when we stepped in to cold water. The pool was large and kept at an adequately cool temperature, but the water had a terrible odor which made us question the cleanliness and upkeep. We look forward to a return visit to this location which is located conveniently next to great shopping, dining and entertainment.

Has a small Gym, pool and spa are closed and sign is hard to find. wifi issue, I had problem get to the splash screen then I figured out it was singal issue bu my bad in room 214. had to get up to sign in but hotel staff had no idea for hours. ice maker /water refill station on second floor is down. parking cost extra (but says free on the booking website) and so bottle water (stays free but small fine print says for member only). TV check out is down too.

Such a cool spot to go and enjoy the summit mall!! Very clean, staff sometimes looked annoyed at requests or questions there but most were great! It was beautiful and the pool/jacuzzi was awesome.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable—when I checked in, I noticed dust on the furniture, dirty bathroom fixtures, and even hair in the sink and shower. Housekeeping seemed inconsistent, as my room was barely refreshed during my stay, and I had to call multiple times just to get fresh towels. Breakfast service was equally disappointing. The food was cold, stale, and lacked variety. The staff didn’t seem attentive, and tables were often left dirty for long periods. There were times when basic items like coffee or juice ran out, and it took forever to get them replenished. Overall, I expected a much higher standard of service, but this hotel fell short in both cleanliness and hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless serious improvements are made.

They overbooked and when I arrived they did not have the room I reserved. They gave me a lesser room and insisted it was more expensive. They had only one person working both the front desk and the bar so I had to wait 20 min before I could check in. The room wasn’t very clean, including hairs on the bed covers. The staff was friendly, in spite of being understaffed and overworked — I do appreciate their kindness.

Relatively new building. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. On the fourth floor it took several minutes for the hot water to get hot. There were no amenities in the room like a fridge or microwave. Had a friendly staff person take me to the staff break room where the only microwave in the building sits.

I was disappointed in Hyatt Place as they have no Microwaves in their hotel rooms, except the Suites now, informed by from desk. I have stayed in many Hyatt Place's in multiple states over the years and this is the first one without it. It makes a difference since we packed with a Hotel Microwave in mind. Since when is this normal. There was no extra Toilet Paper or Tissue Paper in the Hotel room, and both were not new, as not full at the start of our stay. We chose to defer Service for the first 2 days of a 4 day stay, but chose service on the Third day. No service to the Hotel room was made during our stay. This is very Unacceptable and this and the lack of Microwaves for Hyatt Place rooms will be the last time we will stay there as a Family of 5. We will go elsewhere.

Breakfast was good, the facility was nice. Unfortunately they use laminate on the floors of the rooms so the steps of the guests above you are quite pronounced. A late check in above you could wake light sleepers.

Great Hotel! If you don't want to stay in Downtown Reno.Large room, plenty of dining options ,movie theater right next door.Hyatt Place is the best value for your money.Hands down

The place was pretty much like brand new the location is a little weird because it’s in the parking lot of the outlet mall. There are good restaurants within walking distance and a lot of shopping within walking distance a little further from Reno than I was expecting. But not too far. Very close to the freeways and a good view of the mountains all around. Breakfast was OK staff was friendly very quick check in and check out a lot of parking available. Room was in very good condition. A little noisy and very busy outside a lot of car noise and guest activity. But not too bad.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Hyatt Place Reno. Every staff member we interacted with was professional and friendly. Our room was large, modern and very comfortable. We enjoyed the modern furnishings throughout the hotel and loved the outdoor seating options. The optional breakfast was beautifully presented with many food choices including sausages, pancakes, French toast, eggs, fresh mixed fruit and vanilla yogurt with multiple toppings to add. Our only disappointments were with the pool and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was apparently closed for repair, although there wasn’t a sign stating so, and we discovered this when we stepped in to cold water. The pool was large and kept at an adequately cool temperature, but the water had a terrible odor which made us question the cleanliness and upkeep. We look forward to a return visit to this location which is located conveniently next to great shopping, dining and entertainment.

We had a great stay... hotel is beautiful the room spacious and ammenities wonderful. The breakfast was the most beutiful layout i have ever experienced and so many options.

It was a nice new hotel. Very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was $8.00 a person which i thought was ridiculous for the price you pay to stay and a hotel in a shopping mall parking lot. It is not clear on some of the hotel sites that you have to pay either but are told that when checking in. Cleaning ladies were very nice as well and super helpful if you needed anything. Overall nice hotel.

The hotel recently opened, it was very clean and we were happy with the room. The breakfast was good, but they had trouble keeping things refilled (coffee and certain food items). The hotel is located in a large outdoor strip mall, so there is shopping, a Trader Joes and restaurants close by. Overall, highly recommend.

The bartender was really nice but not really able to make good drinks, at $15.00 each i wish they were drinkable. Nice big clean shower but the water was only warm, could not get a hot shower

Brand new facilities, everything was clean and new but during our 3 night stay our room wasn’t cleaned at all even though we complained. The TV volume didn’t work, but we were finally given the tip to fix it by unplugging & plugging back in. The closet wasn’t useable because the bar for hanging clothes was was just about a foot above the floor of the closet. The restaurant at the bar only had two items available; everything else was out of stock. The daily breakfast was mediocre. The coffee was incredibly weak. The location is convenient next to a large shopping area with a movie theater, restaurants & shops.

Convenient location for our travel plans. Warm welcome upon arrival, with reception staff helpful throughout our stay. Recently open hotel with good sized swimming pool, within walking distance of off site eateries. Good size room, with the only downside a noisy air circulator in the room.

Hotel is beautiful, appears to be newly built, located near a modern mall and two really nice restaurants. Room looks brand new, very clean, with ample space and an awesome shower. Room had 2 chairs and a recliner. Good breakfast with limited selection, a good thing because when too much is available many guests wate much of the food.

Check in was easy, which we appreciated since it was a long day of travel. Both of the gals at the counter both check in and in the morning were fabulous and friendly. Our room was spacious and fairly neat. There were rogue hairs on the bathroom floor upon us first entering the room. This I wouldn’t expect to be there. Our biggest surprise, especially being a Hyatt, was the breakfast. There was a lot left to be desired here. Continental breakfast was expected, but there were only eggs, cereals, oats, bagels, and side of syrup. Most stays, we expect to see pancakes or waffles and meat or potatoes of sort but this wasn’t present for some reason. We were even at breakfast early, so it wasn’t a “cutting it close” breakfast. Otherwise, we had a comfy bed and friendly staff.

Paid over $300 for a two bed and a sofa bed with a capacity of six, and was given a one bed and a sofa bed. I asked for a refund, no refund so we had to take what they had. Two of us had to literally sleep on the floor. Staff up front we delt with was very unprofessional. This is the first time this happens, hopefully won't happen again.
