Radisson Hotel Fairview Heights - St Louis

A estrutura do hotel é excelente. Quarto amplo, móveis de qualidade, banheiro bonito, saguão charmoso. Peçam no serviço. Atendimento ruim, limpeza era feita à noite (meu quarto só foi limpo porque pedi, às 18h), café da manhã improvisado com produtos de qualidade duvidosa. É como vc ter uma Ferrari e levar na oficina da esquina pra fazer revisão. Ou seja, eles tem uma excelente estrutura mas falta gerência, supervisão dos serviços.

When we checked in we were given a free room upgrade. There were complimentary bottles of water in the lobby. The hotel was clean, but the furnishings in the lobby and in our room looked like they were picked up from a garage sale. There is a bar and "restaurant" on site. The restaurant is counter served in the breakfast area. The bar was supposed to be open until 11, per the signage, but it was locked up with chains by 9 pm on a Saturday.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating; room and bathroom were a good size. I was there a week for work and would return. Cons: fridge didn’t work well - I couldn’t get it to stay cold but thankfully didn’t need it much. AC/heat unit was quite dusty so I wonder if the filter needs cleaning. Lastly, there’s not a real towel bar - the one above the toilet is too low so the bath towel touched the toilet (not ok with that), and one bar below the sink that’s part of the vanity but it’s not real convenient when you’re trying to get out of the shower. No towel bar/ring for hand towel too. Somehow this seems to be standard in a lot of hotels and I don’t know why so now I pack a few suction cup hooks with me every time I travel.

Check in was easy and the desk staff very nice. The room appeared clean until the chair cushion got turned over and it was a nasty disaster. The room is poorly lighted and has direct switches on each light. Bathroom sink needed to to be plunged. Mattress I had in 422 was not firm. Walls are thin and could hear every thing on two floors. Wed Thu nites were fine business folks in the house. Friday night they allowed a rodeo to take place on the 4th floor. Slamming doors running up and down the halls until 4am. Someone giggling door handles. I heard two others calling the front desk and nothing happened. When you see the name Radisson and just don't expect this.
