I requested parking at check in but there were no spots available in their carpark. When I complained I was told to park down the street as they had not charged me for parking. My invoice once I had checked out had the parking charged to it and my complaint has so far been ignored. The hot water was not very hot.

Extremely disappointed! Check in time was 3pm. The room was dirty and small. Looks like it hadn’t had a proper clean in forever. Dust and dirt in between the fridge and in corners, etc. The shower water flooded out to the carpeted entrance and added to the musky smell. Also disappointed with the 11-6night menu which was expensive. We called to order pizza at 1am and was told there would be a 2 hour wait. We left before the 10am check out time.

Firstly we were changed $46 for 1 night parking when there is no mention of a fee on either the hotel website or hotels.com. We had a dirty coffee cup, no wine glasses and a terrible drain smell in the bathroom which seemed to get worse overnight. I was woken up very early by washing machines and a strong smell of laundry detergent. The bathroom was very small and there was a lack of power points in the room. I mentioned these things when checking out and the staff member said that he was sorry.

No hot water, mould on the blinds and I'm asmatic and woke up with a terrible cough. Carpet under the 2 single beds was extremely dusty and probably also didn't help my asthma and obviously hadn't been vacuumed and there was a white sock there. Staff lovely beds comfy great position to walk to Hall 5 where kids cheer leading is. We have 2 more in November that we would like to stay here for but not sure now.

Perfect place to stay if you are going to watch a sporting event or concert, very convenient spot. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and very easy to deal with. Very convenient having McDonalds and Subway downstairs also. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. Only downside being you could hear conversations being had outside your room (no drama, just annoying at 6am).

Pros: -Property location is good, easily accessible through public transport. -Budget friendly restaurants around the hotel incase you want to grab a quick bite. -Staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: -Amenities are basic even for a budget hotel. -TV operation was difficult and not a smart TV. -One can hear the corridor noise specially when nearby room doors are closed or banged. I woke up several times during the night.

The hotel was crazy busy during our stay. This meant we had to park further away and pay more for parking. Also meant slow check in. There was a lot of noisy guests in the corridor outside our room and so we didn’t get much sleep. Needed a security guard!

Amazing location if attending a concert at Accor stadium but the hotel it’s self was pretty terrible. The room was very old, tired and small. Not even one picture on the wall. Could not open the window to get some air. Wouldn’t be able to spend more then one night there. Having said this the staff where very lovely and helpful, they definitely make the hotel.

Customer service, cleanliness & location were amazing. Very quiet (noise wise), even though we stayed during the first days of the Easter Show & the hotel was fully booked. Buffet breakfast was very nice. Lots of eateries very close by. Super convenient transport wise. Only comment is that the rooms are very basic & the bathrooms are in need of upgrade. No toiletries except body wash provided.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ibis. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. A microwave may have been handy though. Good views from the room. Will definitely stay again as the location is perfect. Parking was expensive though.

Two areas of concern 1. On arrival there were approx 25 people waiting to check in and only two staff at reception. One of the reception staff was for Accor and VIP members first (understandably) which left one person for the 25 waiting most of the time. It was a lengthy wait. I am always happy to wait but I have difficulties with standing on my legs for a long period. No-one available to ask for help as the reception staff were very busy and I was concerned about leaving the long line. 2. On check out I needed to wait for transport to the venue I was going to. I went outside and the only seating was a timber bench seat that I needed to clean with the wipes I was carrying so I could sit on it without getting dirty clothes. Sadly, it rained while waiting and I needed to move undercover but there were no seats and as I said above, I have difficulty standing for a long period. I went inside and thought I could sit near the door and wait but there was no seating near the door, only on the far side of the building near the restaurant. The reception staff were busy with a long line of people and I couldn't find anyone else that I could ask for help. This is a very difficult situation for people who have additional invisible needs or just tired after a long day.

One of the reception staff was for Accor and VIP members first (understandably) which left one person for the 25 waiting most of the time. It was a lengthy wait. I am always happy to wait but I have difficulties with standing on my legs for a long period. No-one available to ask for help as the reception staff were very busy and I was concerned about leaving the long line. 2. On check out I needed to wait for transport to the venue I was going to. I went outside and the only seating was a timber bench seat that I needed to clean with the wipes I was carrying so I could sit on it without getting dirty clothes. Sadly, it rained while waiting and I needed to move undercover but there were no seats and as I said above, I have difficulty standing for a long period. I went inside and thought I could sit near the door and wait but there was no seating near the door, only on the far side of the building near the restaurant. The reception staff were busy with a long line of people and I couldn't find anyone else that I could ask for help. This is a very difficult situation for people who have additional invisible needs or just tired after a long day.

I had not been back to the Sydney Olympic Park since attending various events in 2000. The place has utterly transformed. The Ibis Hotel is very handily located near the train station and there are many eateries close by. Great location.

Extremely disappointed! Check in time was 3pm. The room was dirty and small. Looks like it hadn’t had a proper clean in forever. Dust and dirt in between the fridge and in corners, etc. The shower water flooded out to the carpeted entrance and added to the musky smell. Also disappointed with the 11-6night menu which was expensive. We called to order pizza at 1am and was told there would be a 2 hour wait. We left before the 10am check out time.

Perfect place to stay if you are going to watch a sporting event or concert, very convenient spot. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and very easy to deal with. Very convenient having McDonalds and Subway downstairs also. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. Only downside being you could hear conversations being had outside your room (no drama, just annoying at 6am).

Customer service, cleanliness & location were amazing. Very quiet (noise wise), even though we stayed during the first days of the Easter Show & the hotel was fully booked. Buffet breakfast was very nice. Lots of eateries very close by. Super convenient transport wise. Only comment is that the rooms are very basic & the bathrooms are in need of upgrade. No toiletries except body wash provided.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ibis. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. A microwave may have been handy though. Good views from the room. Rooms were quiet and didn't hear any outside noises. It had a lovely restaurant and bar with nice seating outside too. Breakfast was delicious too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again as the location is perfect. Parking was expensive though.

Room was clean and whilst it was very basic, it was very comfortable. Bathroom was need and tidy however shower needed some attention, a good scrub and bleach would do the job. The breakfast buffet was really good too. Would stay again.

I loved the vibe of the whole foyer. My check in experience was brilliant with the concierge welcoming me on arrival. It was flawless. If there was one criticism. Is that the Cafe was card only and I was unable to use cash, which I had specifically for incidentals, to buy a coffee.

The location is great if you are attending events at Olympic Park. The rooms need to be refurbished as they look old and worn out. Rooms are clean but look a bit grotty because of their age. The breakfast and the staff are excellent.
