We stayed at this hotel second time and everything was excellent. Easy access by ferry, train and bus. Very close to most attractions. In hotels we could use a sandwich maker and washing machine. That was a bonus. Definitely will stay again.

Felt like I was in a forgotten room. It was one of the cheaper rooms with a "view of the atrium". I kept the window shut as I looked out on to cleaning supplies. Walked down a narrow path outside to get to my room. If elderly/ unstable on your feet or use a walker it would not have been safe. I thought I was going the wrong way. Was not made aware of a nice communal area, found it upon checkout. I would have used it for reading. It served its purpose for 2 nights. Would not go there if it was a holiday. They took my licence and credit card but I have no assurance that they deleted the information when I left as I asked them to. "Cold breakfast" available. No details as to what it could be. Did not check it out. Good for a cheap quick stopover night

Fabulous room. King bed and plenty of space. Very clean and comfortable. And very affordable for Double Bay. Fabulous location too. Parking could be a problem but we found spots pretty easily.

I found this Hotel quite a rabbits warren and noisy from other rooms. The carpet was dirty, large mark, with crumbs on it, as well when i arrived, A stain on the doona like urine? Pillows were shocking so lucky i took my own. I thought the parking was quite expensive where i went Wilsons, for two nights--$55 a day! quite a long way from Hotel. I doubt if i will be back.

I loved the convenience, it is an older hotel, have stayed there many times over the years. The rooms have been greatly improved, plenty of storage and staff always helpful and friendly. You get what you pay for, great price, very clean room and comfy bed. That's all I need.

While the room was clean, it was dated with stains on the walls and carpets. Shower screen had gaffa tape around it. View from room 215 was terrible, overlooking a building site with scaffolding and cranes. There was also a clothes dryer in the public area that was still going at 10:30pm.

A perfect place for a brief stop over in Sydney. Location is great with a 5 min walk to the Double Bay ferry terminal and a 15 minute walk to Edgecliffe Station if you don't want to pay Sydney's exorbitant taxi fares from the airport. Clean, welcoming, functional. One more pillow each would have got you 5 stars. No natural daylight in the room so wouldn't have wanted to be there for more than a night but that's personal preference. A great stay.

Location good but room was terrible. Our room had an interconnecting door which was not locked when we arrived so a random person walked in to our room. We felt very unsafe and the motel did not seem to care. Will not be going back.

The staff were helpful, called me to arrange check in as the reception was closing and I was coming in late. Room was on the top floor, I had paid extra for a balcony, it was a very hot day, the room was very hot, fortunately it was cooler outside so I was able to open it up and get the airconditioning going.

Felt like I was in a forgotten room. It was one of the cheaper rooms with a "view of the atrium". I kept the window shut as I looked out on to cleaning supplies. Walked down a narrow path outside to get to my room. If elderly/ unstable on your feet or use a walker it would not have been safe. I thought I was going the wrong way. I liked that it had a window you could open. Very basic room but OK, bed a bit soft. the Room was serviced daily, but coffee cups were never washed, milk and toilet paper were not replaced. The room manual is very out of date, saying breakfast was available down stairs, but apparently has not been available since Covid. I would stay again because of locality to where I need to be

A honest affordable hotel, we enjoyed our stay in Double Bay, we found street parking was available, the location is terrific. It’s not 5 star, so manage your expectations, the room was clean the bathroom clean and well appointed, towels were changed daily, we didn’t love the 4th floor as having to do the stairs for the last floor was a strain with luggage. However, the rooftop room with large balcony was probably worth it. Only fault was the toilet paper was low when we arrived and wasn’t replaced and there wasnt any back ups, I thought this was strange. I would stay again for the value this provides in what can be an expensive city.
