I was hoping for something much more. Staff was helpful but the hotel simply wasn’t what we were expecting It doesn’t have an elevator The pool seems beautiful in photos and once you get there it’s a shallow pool and for you to go to a restroom you have to go down 4 floors When we asked for body lotion they said they didn’t had that but you can buy one for 80€ I wouldn’t return to this hotel

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Il Capri Hotel. The staff was fabulous and we had a beautiful room with a balcony and incredible view. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and the bar. An added bonus was the high quality sheets and pillows!. Great location to shops and restaurants as well! We would definitely stay here again.

It is a great boutique hotel in the perfect spot in Capri. You can reach by taxi, the funiculare and the bus station are 2 min walk and the piazzeta right there. Breakfast was great. They don’t have elevator, though. Our room had the a gorgeous view but by stairs. They help with the luggage. Highly recommended

The property says it is "5 Star" hotel; no way or at least not under the conventional rating system. The positives: 1. good location. 2. fantastic staff; front desk is about the best I have experienced in Europe! 3. nice breakfast and restaurant space. 4. excellent air conditioning system. 5. Good size bathroom with nice showers, although the quality of the tiling installation was mixed. 6. Nice hotel lounge and bar service. The negatives: 1. the bed is the worst I have ever slept on at any hotel in the world and it is supposedly one year old mattress. 2. The carpet in the bedroom is not carpet, but a material that hurt my feet to stand on, so I looked for complimentary slippers that most good hotels provide guests; however, this hotel did not offer them, but had them for sale at €150,00. 3. No mini bar. 4. Did not have an in room safe, but it was installed in my room after I complained about it. 5. I wanted to speak with the owner of the property, who was at the property, about the marketing description of the hotel, but he refused to meet with me. 6. My room was very noisy from people on the roof bar or transiting through the hallway, which was annoying as they walked past my room in the wee hours of the morning... 7. There is no in room television. I have never experienced any 2 star hotel that did not provide an in-room TV. 8. The closet and drawers are too small. I do NOT recommend; but I hope to meet the staff at other hotels in Capri in 2024.

Beautiful belle epoche, quaint hotel. Very friendly staff, great “walk to many restaurants”location. Only drawback is lack of elevator, be sure to ask for lower floor as stairs are steep.

O hotel fica localizado próximo ao centro de Capri (no alto da ilha) e próximo ao funicular e à estação de ônibus. Há restaurantes, supermercado e lojas próximas. A vista do quarto e da área da piscina é linda!! O staff foi muito atencioso e protocolar. Pontos de atenção: carpete do quarto e chão do banheiro são muito desconfortáveis para estar descalço e o hotel tem elevador somente até o 1o andar. Também achamos que há poucas opções no café da manhã, apesar de ser muito bem feito. Ficamos desconfortáveis com a quantidade de itens à venda no quarto. Eles deixam chinelos, roupão, camisetas, entre outras coisas (ocupando espaço) no quarto já com as tags de preços (altos por sinal). Não há frigobar no quarto (é preciso solicitar).

Il Capri Hotel was fantastic. The style is amazing and we felt like we were staying in a Wes Anderson movie. Perfect location, great view (the pool!!!), nice staff. Only annoyance was that every surface and hook in the bedroom is covered in products for sale. They really push the hotel merch. Definitely recommend this place and wish we had more time there.

Fantastiskt hotell med underbar hjälpsam personal. Vår lilla hund var också hjärtligt välkommen! Underbar frukost! Bästa läget på Capri och lätt för taxi att stanna utanför. Utsikten oslagbar och en fantastisk takterrass med pool på taket!

Il Capri Hotel was an amazing place to stay during our trip to Capri. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Piazzetta area and is walking distance from all the shops, cafes, restaurants, bus stop and funicular. The pool area has a stellar view of the island and they even have a rooftop restaurant and bar called Deviant. Our hotel room was always kept clean and they gave us complimentary water and a pastry for my wife and I. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Cette hôtel est super bien situé mais le décors est pris dans le temps . Les uniformes du personnel son désuet et même malpropre . Les chambres laisse à désirer par le décors, les tapis sont tachés , la céramique de salle de bain sont désuet mais le plus important les matelas des lits sont les pires que nous avons jamais vues. Nous avons adresser le problème malgré le staff et seulement 5 ou 6 chambres occuper sur 30 chambres il n était pas capable de nous présenter une chambre avec un lit convenable . Tout les matelas sont complètement défoncée ou briser nous sentions le font des lits et des springs des lits . Pour ce qui est du reste le services est très bons . Nous n avions rien à dire à ce propos . Si le confort et la propreté est important pour vous passer votre tour .

It took me ages to decide on which hotel to book. I made the right choice! It was easy enough to take the funicular and walk the distance to the hotel, if you want to save Euro 25 for a quick ride. Hotel has been renovated very tastefully. Breakfast was very good and the staff, especially Luca was just amazing. We loved it and if ever back in Capri I would not hesitate to stay in the same hotel again.

Wow! Gorgeous old style property in immaculate condition in the heart of Capri village overlooking the sea! Room was classicly decorated and very comfortable, facilities impeccable and the staff, particularly Frederica who was so patient with all of my requests, was absolutely top notch and warm. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely return again and again!

We loved our stay at Il Capri! Not only was the hotel darling, but it was so conveniently located next to the funicular. Made it very easy coming from the ferry to get our bags up the hill and checked in. The staff were 5-stars, from check-in, to the bar to the porters. All went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. My notes on the property condition could partially be due to weather (some moisture in the room) and an old mattress. We had some drooping in the middle of ours that could be improved with a mattress topper or new bed. Other than that - I definitely recommend as a place to stay. We would return.

The property says it is "5 Star" hotel; no way or at least not under the conventional rating system. The positives: 1. good location. 2. fantastic staff; front desk is about the best I have experienced in Europe! 3. nice breakfast and restaurant space. 4. excellent air conditioning system. 5. Good size bathroom with nice showers, although the quality of the tiling installation was mixed. 6. Nice hotel lounge and bar service. The negatives: 1. the bed is the worst I have ever slept on at any hotel in the world and it is supposedly one year old mattress. 2. The carpet in the bedroom is not carpet, but a material that hurt my feet to stand on, so I looked for complimentary slippers that most good hotels provide guests; however, this hotel did not offer them, but had them for sale at €150,00. 3. No mini bar. 4. Did not have an in room safe, but it was installed in my room after I complained about it. 5. I wanted to speak with the owner of the property, who was at the property, about the marketing description of the hotel, but he refused to meet with me. 6. My room was very noisy from people on the roof bar or transiting through the hallway, which was annoying as they walked past my room in the wee hours of the morning... 7. There is no in room television. I have never experienced any 2 star hotel that did not provide an in-room TV. 8. The closet and drawers are too small. I do NOT recommend; but I hope to meet the staff at other hotels in Capri in 2024.

Could not have picked a better place to stay. The design and ambiance was exquisitely curated with a Wes Anderson aesthetic. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the view from our room was unbelievable and location was a 100/100 super close to the funicular and piazza which made it easy to walk everywhere and also near the taxi and bus station. Our stay was memorable, I wish I could have stayed longer. Whatever you see on instagram that Capri looks like, this hotel is the epitome of that much

A vista do quarto e da área da piscina é linda!! O staff foi muito atencioso e protocolar. The IL CAPRI Hotel is a gem on the island of Capri. Although not inexpensive, it is actually a value in comparison with many other hotels on the island. The property is an easy walk (even with luggage) from the cable car that brings you up from the port. The rooms have very nice views and comfortable beds. The bathrooms are large by European standards, The staff is the real gem. They are friendly, attentive and go beyond expectations (shout out to Michele). The included breakfasts were good and the service great. They had good suggestions for other restaurants for us and even looked them up on their own phones to give directions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and heartily recommend this hotel.

This place seems to good to be true, but it is actually incredible. The staff were all very friendly, but I'd like to give a special shout out to Luca who made us feel like family. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and had the perfect honeymoon vacation.

It is a great boutique hotel in the perfect spot in Capri. You can reach by taxi, the funiculare and the bus station are 2 min walk and the piazzeta right there. Breakfast was great. They don’t have elevator, though. Our room had the a gorgeous view but by stairs. They help with the luggage. Highly recommended

It took me ages to decide on which hotel to book. I made the right choice! It was easy enough to take the funicular and walk the distance to the hotel, if you want to save Euro 25 for a quick ride. Hotel has been renovated very tastefully. Breakfast was very good and the staff, especially Luca was just amazing. We loved it and if ever back in Capri I would not hesitate to stay in the same hotel again.

We loved our stay at Il Capri! Not only was the hotel darling, but it was so conveniently located next to the funicular. Made it very easy coming from the ferry to get our bags up the hill and checked in. The staff were 5-stars, from check-in, to the bar to the porters. All went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. My notes on the property condition could partially be due to weather (some moisture in the room) and an old mattress. We had some drooping in the middle of ours that could be improved with a mattress topper or new bed. Other than that - I definitely recommend as a place to stay. We would return.

Il Capri Hotel was an amazing place to stay during our trip to Capri. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Piazzetta area and is walking distance from all the shops, cafes, restaurants, bus stop and funicular. The pool area has a stellar view of the island and they even have a rooftop restaurant and bar called Deviant. Our hotel room was always kept clean and they gave us complimentary water and a pastry for my wife and I. Definitely would recommend staying here.

It is very nice hitel but much overpriced. Stuff is very nice, room is very beautiful, but breakfast very ordinary . No lift . But main thing- the feeling wa that they wanted more and more money from you. Even slippers put into your room were @150?Euros, Body notation - only for sale. But prices were not attached - so you do nit know how much it will be charged. Very noisy outside- so many tourists passing under your window.

Il Capri Hotel was an amazing place to stay during our trip to Capri. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Piazzetta area and is walking distance from all the shops, cafes, restaurants, bus stop and funicular. The pool area has a stellar view of the island and they even have a rooftop restaurant and bar called Deviant. Our hotel room was always kept clean and they gave us complimentary water and a pastry for my wife and I. Definitely would recommend staying here.

The rooms carpet needed cleaning but the bed was comfortable, the cookies they gave us were delicious the view was spectacular and the staff was very friendly even at the end of tourist season

lovely stay! the hotel had everything we need and more. we stayed here for six nights and it was so beautiful, a bit pricey but that’s capri. the staff was so attentive. the hotel was very quiet and i can count the amount of times i saw other guests though. if you’re looking for crowds of people you won’t find it here. we enjoyed it as it was a relief to escape crazy capri a few minutes away. location is perfect, walking distance to capri but far enough for some quiet.
