Tony's House Hotel

They provide a continental breakfast brought to your room. Mini fridge in room and kettle to heat wayer. The shower head could be located higher. I\'m 5\'3" and still had to duck down. There is not lift/elevator so if you have issues using stairs do not stay here. Very close to Paddington station, Hyde Park, restaurants, bars, and stores.

The staff are all VERY nice, and they do respond to issues. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING, though there was a fan in the room. There is a mini fridge in the room which is great - though it had no temp adjustment and froze our water and milk. They deliver a basket of croissants/buns, yogurt, juice, butter & marmalade, cookies/snack bar to the room for breakfast at the time you specify, and they were nice to supply that in the evening when we were leaving before 8:00 in the morning. There is a safe in the room, but it didn't work so they gave us an override physical key to keep during our 5 night stay. The TV remote had corroded batteries in it, they replaced them and it turned on the TV and changed channels but it did not turn off the TV so we had go to the power button on the TV to turn it off. The room looked nothing like any of the photos on Expedia, much darker and smaller. It was a tiny double bed (and was uncomfortable for two small adults). Our biggest problem however was that the WIFI DIDN'T WORK, it would connect for a moment then turn off on both our devices over and over again - it was impossible to use in that room, and they were not able to correct it. We wound burning thru our cellular data on our eSIM in order to access the internet, email, WhatsApp, etc. A great location for Paddinton Station and the metros. All in all, I wished we had balked at the room and asked for another or stayed elsewhere (I'm not a 'make waves' kind of person, but wish I had).

Dangerous room(electrics showing) Not a family room with young kids with a full opening window on the fourth floor (dangerous) Staff kept promising improvements but empty promises! Continental breakfast is from Aldi rubbish! No ac !! No fans !! Staff constantly going in rooms when guests not present ! Neighbouring hotels very noises , people constantly drinking outside very intimidating walking past . Kettle was absolutely filthy! Summery : Do not stay here ! There are other better quality hotels to stay at . DONT RUIN YOUR HOLIDAY .

The staff at the hotel were friendly. The location is close to the Paddington Station and a short walk to Hyde Park so it is very convenient. The hotel itself is not great. I was in the basement and the trains running underneath are very loud . Also the stairs are very steep and not suited to elderly people. This room should not be offered as accommodation

Nice place to stay friendly staff , no parking unless you pay a lot if you park for a long, free from 6.30 pm till 8 am time traffic wardens are very keen so don't risk it traffic warden was there by 9am checking cars lots of cars had tickets some multiple very thin road if you have a big car its tight drive slow The parking is not the hotels fault its london apart from the parking i would recommend and stay again

No hot water for five days, lost my post and internet issues

We booked Tony’s House, but on arrival were moved to the Dolphin next door. The room looked nothing like the photo advertised and the bathroom was ridiculously small. We climbed 3 v steep stairs. Reception staff, friendly, breakfast staff did not acknowledge us. Basic, small, but clean room. There was a loud generator type noise. We had to move the bed into the middle of the room so we could both get in and out without climbing over the other. That meant moving the small table and chair to block the door and hanging space. The bathroom was tiny, we are small people, anyone “large” would not be able to use it. The breakfast was limited, but OK. Cramped dining room. The underground runs underneath. If your room was in the basement you would hear it.

We also had to ask staff for clean bedsheet covers and then put them on ourselves. Heaven forbid if there's ever a fire in the place, nobody would get out from the top floors. Will never ever ever stay here again!

I am very disappointed about the treatment received by Expedia who advertised a charming and bright room while I was hosted in a terrible, extremely small, humid and dark room under the stairs. The receptionist when I told him the room was by far worse than the one shown in the pictures, told me to complain to Expedia. I preferred to save my few days enjoying London but again, this is a bad rating both for the host and Expedia.

We can hear the metro in the bedroom but we accomodate. The staff brings you the breakfast at your door because there is no breakfast room in the hotel. So you don't have the choice of what you eat...

Tonys was ok Clean and onsuite bath Breakfast served in the room in the morning. Close to bus, train and underground. Shops around the corner. Short way to Kensington gardens. We asked for breakfast at 8, it was brought to us between 8 and 9:30 And we had a mouse in our room. It was a cute mouse, but it gave us a scare the first time we saw it.

Lovely friendly people running the hotel. Breakfast was brought directly to our room at our chosen time. Our room was compact and the hotel was clean with comfortable beds.

Upon arrival we were told we had been upgraded and walked 5mins from hotel to a flat. I and my three young's son were walked to a basement flat. There was an awful smell from the kitchenette, like a deep damp. It was late and we were desperate for a place to lay down. We kept the door closed and placed towel at base of door to contain the over pouring smell of damp. The TVs were all smart TVs and did not work. In addition, breakfast was late and we had to call to check when it would be delivered, being told the hotel was understaffed. We eventually walked to the reception to collect ourselves but there was no one available. The continental breakfast was a bag of mini-cheddars, a couple of store bought brioches and chocolate mini rolls, very disappointing. Although the staff of duty tried his best to attend and help, our stay was made miserable by awful smells and an awkward basement stay not as we had originally booked. There was no communication prior to arrival nor was there any words to apologise for this very inconvenient and downgrading change.

Was lovely, speedy check it which is great after travelling , room was lovely and clean and the cleaner was lovely, breakfast was a bit odd but was ok , more snacks , defo stay here again

Stayed in room nine, for a family of four. The beds were ok but the room was very small. No room for anything apart from sleeping. Staff were very friendly. Bathroom was also small very basic and need some work on it. Lights in the room were very dim. A place to crash out at only. Breakfast was rubbish! We didn’t eat it. The kettle in the room needed put in the bin. Overall it’s only a place to sleep, quick shower then get out for the day.

Tony's Hotel was very disappointing to us as a family. Firstly we asked for a double bed & two singles, yet we got two doubles, There was zero space for us to even walk around & the so called bathroom was so small it was claustrophobic. The window wouldn't open or shut properly, & was rotting around the panel, We were kept awake all night from the underground noise, again they didn't warn you of this whilst booking, & there was no dining area, your breakfast was brought to you on a tray so we had to sit on our beds & eat it. There was no headboard on the bed, & the pillow was of poor quality also. The overall advertising of this hotel did not in any way portray the reality of what it was really like. So will never go again.

DON’T USE THIS PLACE. My plane was delayed and I notified the hotel that I would arrive well after midnight. When I arrived the hotel could not bother to let me in and I was stranded on the street in the middle of the night!
