This house offered the perfect stay for our summer kick-off vacation with our best friends (4 adults, and 4 kids ages 2-11). It felt very private, but was still a very close drive to the hikes we wanted to do and the places we wanted to visit in town. The patio was our favorite spot in the morning to sip coffee and be by the water, and the fire pit was awesome! We did get out on the canoes every day too. The house had everything we needed (and then some)! The games/activities were a hit with all ages. It was so comfortable and we were incredibly thankful for such an easy stay. Definitely left feeling recharged! Would recommend this house and host!

Family arrived from New Orleans and Beckley, WV. Found the cabin in excellent condition. Kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils, pans, plates, etic to accommodate 14 of us. Kids enjoyed air hockey table and canoes on pond. Very enjoyable trip. (our second visit to this cabin)

Everyone of us loved the beautifully decorated for Christmas, log cabin in the mountains facing a small lake with the spill way facing the cabin providing relaxing waterfalls. Lots of room inside and out to play, air hockey, foosball, ping-pong, corn-hole, horse-shoes, fishing, canoeing... whew!

We had a lot of family come into town for my in-law's 50th anniversary celebration and some of us stayed in Beulah and we also had the meals and the celebration dinner in the Beulah dining room and kitchen. The house is really nice and the rooms and beds are super comfortable. The pond is a lot of fun to canoe on and the fall weather was an added bonus. Our family comes to Mentone often and we always enjoy ourselves an Beulah ranks at the top of our experiences of anywhere we've stayed. Thank you!

Stayed as an extended family (grandparents, adult children and their spouses and children) over a long 3-day weekend. The house was perfect and exactly like the listing. Plenty of things to do just around the property without ever leaving, including bonfire, outdoor games, fishing, and canoeing. Also close to many hiking locations suitable for all ages and physical abilities. Check-in and check-out process was very easy. House was clean and includes all of the amenities you need to cook there. If planning another Mentone trip will definitely stay here again.

The property was perfectly cozy for a cold Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well-stocked for all of our cooking and food prep and the table held us all comfortably. One end of the table had a group doing a puzzle and the other end was a game of dominoes. ...made tons of sweet memories and even enjoyed the pond for a quick minute...brrrr!

Family from 6 states joined us in Mentone for a wonderful 5 night stay in a roomy, well maintained property. Lake view was lovely. We found hiking nearby and ping pong games on the property. Beds were comfortable and all was super clean… even the barbecue grill. Highly recommend for reunion of family and friends.

The cabin was amazing, everything was clean, pretty, and well stoked. I love the lake and all the areas to spend time with your family. Is the first house we find so full of thing you will need. You can cook there everything you want. For me was a 10/10. Just a recommendation, if you travel with baby/toddler think in bring your own high chair because is the only thing I missed in the cabin. Thank you Laura for hosting my family. Definitely I recommend this place.

This property/rental exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The property was a very nice and spacious home, very roomy, very clean, and extremely well equipped for our needs. Everything you need from linens and towels to kitchen items. They have it all covered! The hosts were very good to work with, very attentive to details most would not do for the customer. Great location and easy to find. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a great meeting spot to entertain and be with friends and family. You will not be disappointed!! Six stars out of 5 easily!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Christmas with our family. The cabin was awesome! Great location, beautifully decorated very clean and well stocked with all the amenities you would need. Beautiful decorations and tree for Christmas. Everything was perfect and Laura our host was super nice and very quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

Laura is an excellent hostess, and did a wonderful job communicating with us about the property. Upon arrival, we were delighted to see how clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully stocked the cabin was. The property was very spacious, and we all found cozy places to call home for a few days. This was our dog’s first trip away from home, and she enjoyed herself, too! The beds are all very comfortable and all the rooms featured designer touches that we were impressed by. The coffee bar was above and beyond my expectations and was very appreciated. We enjoyed quiet time sitting on the porch and walks around the neighborhood, appreciating the water view. I would recommend Beulah to everyone!

Beulah was PERFECT for our family of 6 to gather and do an early Christmas with our adult children. Great setting, excellent layout with bedrooms on 3 different floors to allow privacy, excellent kitchen for group meals, and it all came decorated for Christmas!

The cabin is beautiful! The area is gorgeous. Hiking within minutes and plenty of space for our family of 14 to spread out and enjoy. Ages from 2-62 and everyone loved it! From fishing to star gazing, this is an amazing property and the communication with the owner was awesome! DeSoto Falls and State Park are right down the road! Can’t recommend this property enough! We will definitely be back!

The location is about as close as possible to the state park and the grounds of the cabin are nice for a family getaway. The downstairs lair is comfy, and the kitchen table is large enough to accommodate a sizable group.

Amazing cabin and location. If you are looking to get away with your family or large group, Beulah is a perfect location. Very comfortable with all the amenities to make your stay wonderful. We will definitely return to this location in the future.

My family stayed the week of Christmas at this beautiful cabin. We were extremely pleased with our entire stay from start to finish. When the description says this cabin is well stocked, it’s no exaggeration. They had everything we needed and more. Laura responded very promptly with any questions we had. We were a family of 10 and this cabin was perfect for us. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a good-sized home with easy access to celebrate my 40th birthday (a few days early) with friends. I found all that and more at Beulah! The kitchen had everything we could possibly have wanted and all the bedrooms were well-appointed. Laura was very responsive to my many questions and had someone come out quickly to relight the pilot for the downstairs fire place for us when we first got there. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

The cabin is beautiful! The area is gorgeous. Hiking within minutes and plenty of space for our family of 14 to spread out and enjoy. Ages from 2-62 and everyone loved it! From fishing to star gazing, this is an amazing property and the communication with the owner was awesome! DeSoto Falls and State Park are right down the road! Can’t recommend this property enough! We will definitely be back!

Stayed as an extended family (grandparents, adult children and their spouses and children) over a long 3-day weekend. The house was perfect and exactly like the listing. Plenty of things to do just around the property without ever leaving, including bonfire, outdoor games, fishing, and canoeing. Also close to many hiking locations suitable for all ages and physical abilities. Check-in and check-out process was very easy. House was clean and includes all of the amenities you need to cook there. If planning another Mentone trip will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Christmas with our family. The cabin was awesome! Great location, beautifully decorated very clean and well stocked with all the amenities you would need. Beautiful decorations and tree for Christmas. Everything was perfect and Laura our host was super nice and very quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

Laura is an excellent hostess, and did a wonderful job communicating with us about the property. Upon arrival, we were delighted to see how clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully stocked the cabin was. The property was very spacious, and we all found cozy places to call home for a few days. This was our dog’s first trip away from home, and she enjoyed herself, too! The beds are all very comfortable and all the rooms featured designer touches that we were impressed by. The coffee bar was above and beyond my expectations and was very appreciated. We enjoyed quiet time sitting on the porch and walks around the neighborhood, appreciating the water view. I would recommend Beulah to everyone!

This house offered the perfect stay for our summer kick-off vacation with our best friends (4 adults, and 4 kids ages 2-11). It felt very private, but was still a very close drive to the hikes we wanted to do and the places we wanted to visit in town. The patio was our favorite spot in the morning to sip coffee and be by the water, and the fire pit was awesome! We did get out on the canoes every day too. The house had everything we needed (and then some)! The games/activities were a hit with all ages. It was so comfortable and we were incredibly thankful for such an easy stay. Definitely left feeling recharged! Would recommend this house and host!

Although other cabins around, it was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and the kitchen very well stocked. The outside space was great and large for a group. We appreciated the large dining table, our whole group could eat together.

This property/rental exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The property was a very nice and spacious home, very roomy, very clean, and extremely well equipped for our needs. Everything you need from linens and towels to kitchen items. They have it all covered! The hosts were very good to work with, very attentive to details most would not do for the customer. Great location and easy to find. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a great meeting spot to entertain and be with friends and family. You will not be disappointed!! Six stars out of 5 easily!

We stayed here for our senior trip for our homeschool co-op. We had 8 seniors and 3 parents. It was a perfect space! We could not have been happier! The cabin is spectacular! The kitchen had everything you could imagine. Absolutely perfect! It was central to most things we had on our list to visit. Our kids made some really amazing core memories here. Thanks again! We will be back!

The location is about as close as possible to the state park and the grounds of the cabin are nice for a family getaway. The downstairs lair is comfy, and the kitchen table is large enough to accommodate a sizable group.

Amazing cabin and location. If you are looking to get away with your family or large group, Beulah is a perfect location. Very comfortable with all the amenities to make your stay wonderful. We will definitely return to this location in the future.

This trip was a memory maker for my family. After struggling through business damage to 2 businesses from back to back hurricanes we could finally enjoy a getaway and this property delivered. My grandchildren enjoyed the lake and game room.

We are a family of 10, and I highly recommend staying at the Beulah cabin, it sleeps 14. The cabin was very spacious and clean and had all the amenities required to stay and relax and watch your kids fish. Very peaceful place and look forward to staying again in the future. Thank you Laura for being such a great host

The cabin was beautiful. It was so well stocked. There were so many things to do at the cabin that we ended up spending the day there instead of going out. The lake and fire pit were amazing! We will definitely be back!

This house was fabulous and I highly recommend it. We stayed for two nights, with our four kids, their three spouses and a three-yr old grand. It was a bit pricey but I wasn’t disappointed, it was a special weekend to gather our family for my husband’s 70th. Great porches with swings, a small lake w a canoe, air hockey table, foosball, mini trampoline, lots of board games, and so much more!My only issue is not as much with the house itself as with the way that house owners are now encouraged to add fees. (I had a weekend home on VRBO until @5 yrs ago and they were starting to encourage fees. I never added anything other than the cleaning fee cause I felt I’d be tricking people). Jacuzzi and firewood fee? We didn't touch any firewood and the jacuzzi was a hot tub in the master bathroom downstairs, and we didn’t use it either. We wanted a dog friendly house and bringing a dog also had a fee -this may be very common but it was the first time we had brought a dog to a rental so it surprised me. Why are those fees not part of the total price, I don’t know! All that said, I am venting about stupid fees that annoyed me but the truth is that the house was absolutely impeccable, we had everything we needed, and I would stay again…despite the fees. It is a well-loved house and the owners pay attention to every detail, INCLUDING the nicely stacked firewood! :) THANK YOU!

This place was amazing. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and all around excellent. The grounds were beautiful and we all enjoyed the canoe and kayak. My grands thoroughly enjoyed the game room. We were a fairly large group and cooked most of our meals. Any appliance or utensil we could have possibly needed was available. It certainly exceeded the average cabin. I would most definitely recommend and would book again without hesitation
