For the price and the location, I totally WON! Close enoughto the busy-ness if you want, but on a peaceful street. Close to the park for a nice walk/sit. BEST bakery right around the corner, I ate my weight in pain o chocolats! Best part was that even though there was construction, it didn’t bother me. I’m a light sleeper and with a street view/construction zone, my ear plug were more than sufficient to snooze peacefully. A/C was on point but lucky me was there when it wasn’t sweltering.

My stay in Paris was for one night only as I was meeting with friends who were staying at another hotel and just had a lovely river cruise . When I arrived I can barely make out the hotel as the front was covered with scaffolding and building works were going on which I was surprised about . The staff who checked me in was very pleasant and gave me all necessary information and I retired to my room . The area around the hotel was lovely and the park was a beautiful surprise . I loved the area and the reasonable distance to the station . The room was cosy and clean except I felt the carpet was a bit worn . Otherwise it was fit for purpose The breakfast room was very cosy and the ladies who served breakfast were very friendly and pleasant and made me feel welcomed . When the hotel has completed it's renovations and made attractive like in their advertisement I will be happy to stay here again at the rate I was charged otherwise with construction work going on a reduced rate would have been more appropriate at this time . No one wants to be in a building site for a short stay .

Arriving in the midst of a heatwave, we were so grateful for the excellent air conditioning. The location is perfect, close to so many landmarks, tourist destinations and convenient to restaurants and shops. The staff was extremely accommodating. Breakfast was a nice way to start the day. The housekeeping staff helped us with the bedding, adding a cushioning layer that helped us immensely.
