I stayed here as I had a conference at the Convention centre. It was easy to walk to from here. There were excellent dining options too at restaurants outside of the hotel. I don’t recommend this particular coffee club. Gym could do with some sanitiser and it opens at 0630 which is a little late 0530/0600 would be better. Also a fan or seperate aircon would be nice. I noticed from a review earlier that the spa wasn’t working at it still isn’t. Generally it is tidy. I did have 2 ring pulls left in my sink and would be nice for longer stays after say three nights if they did a quick vacuum. They have a washing machine and dryer which is great but a small clothes horse would be good too. Very convenient for cool bars and restaurants. Big renovation about to start right next door so will be noisy from I think 0700 every morning. Be aware of that.

We had trouble with parking. We came back from tea and although we had paid for parking, there were no available spots for 3 cars. They did eventually rearrange some cars and we got our cars parked for the night.

Location was good, close to Rundle Mall and trams.1 bed apartment booked. Nothing like the website photos. Room felt cramped, not a lot of space. Balcony looked straight at another building. On Monday, building works started. Dryer did not work so reception agreed to dry the clothes which was good. Parking on site good but pricey ($40pn)

The bathroom was full of mould. The side of the cupboard attaching the lounge as filthy- food and fingerprints all over it. The dishwasher smelt shocking. The pool was cold. The spa was out of order. Parking was a nightmare even though parking is attached to the site. It was also extremely expensive to park although I had been told it was included.

Nice hotel in convenient location. Things the hotel does not show, Parking is limited and if it is booked out you can get secure parking in the adjacent parking structure (organised through reception), Parking structure smelt like urine, homeless people sleeping in parking structure, no direct access from parking structure to hotel so had to unload luggage in no standing on Nth Terrace and then move car. Room photos looked great but in reality stained carpets badly scuffed bathroom/laundry doors broken trims on kitchenette, lamps not working. Linen/bedding and towels were clean and comfy but room was average at best, parking was pricey and felt really unsafe did not take my young children into structure and smell was pretty rough

We were originally so happy with Oaks Adelaide. Our apartment was huge! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a lounge room with enough couches and comfy chairs for all of us plus a kitchen table and chairs. There was also heaps of cupboards and storage, more than I have at home! The apartment also had a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, which was fabulous! We also had a lovely balcony that gave us views of Adelaide Oval! It was a wonderful place to stay, however there were some issues… of the 3 lifts/ elevators only 1 was working. It really was such a pain to wait, especially with luggage, as the lift would often be packed when it stopped on our floor. We were easily waiting 5 minutes to get down to the ground. Signs indicated they were working hard to fix the other 2 lifts, but they were both out of order for our entire stay. The other problem we had was on the morning of checking out, we became aware there was prostitution at the hotel. It was very obvious what was happening out the front of the hotel and in the lobby (given they had to wait for the 1 lift that was working!) Despite our wonderful room and a very nice stay, we have since realised this is not the place for a family holiday and unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend it.

Close to convention centre and everything Adelaide CBD has to offer. Swimming pool was a bit short... only about 13 metres. Sauna and spa was closed for my visit. Pool and small gym were open. Location is great and the beds were comfortable. But the apartment (803) was dirty and obviously hadn't been properly cleaned or maintained for a long time. Some minor items were broken. We paid a premium price for budget accomodation.

The location is very convenient. However the apartment is a little old. Bathroom is not in the best of conditions and had mold on silicon in quite a few places in the shower. Overall comfortable for a single traveller who is in Adelaide for short stay.

Room appears nice at first glance, but after a few minutes you come to realise how tired it truely is. Holes in the carpet and walls. Under the bed was caked in dust (fantastic for my asthma and allergies) the block out curtains were broken, one didn’t close fully and the other could only be moved with incredible force. The kitchen was grimy, and there was lack of any hotel information booklets anywhere. As there had been heavy rain that day (and although I called the week before to book on-site parking and it was never done) I had to walk from the public car park to the hotel and got considerably wet, I thought I would use the opportunity to dry off my clothing in the dryer. Great idea in theory, however the dryer did not have a knob, therefore was useless. There was no offer of the “free wifi”, barely even told check out time or where to go for my paid for and included breakfast. Light globes blown throughout the room and no TV in the bedroom even though everything was there indicating there should have been. What I paid for 1 night here I have paid for 3 nights at the Oaks Glenelg and I can say that, unfortunately the Oaks Embassy has let me down. An establishment I would normally pick based on name and reputation, I was incredibly disappointed. I’ve had better service from a $98/night caravan park than here. P.S residents and guests share floors, beware of barking dogs at 6am!

Stayed in an Executive 2 bedroom apartment which was a lovely space overall. We have stayed here before so knew what to expect. Only downside to this stay was that the bathrooms weren’t cleaned very well with hair left on the wall and a used bandaid…… I found that our room was a little louder this time also - thinking it’s because we were facing Hindley St and not North Terrace which is the way we were facing last time. Otherwise the staff are pleasant, the beds are comfortable and the space is nice and welcoming

Very different to photos. Bathroom needs deep clean - lots of mould. Whole apartment needed deep clean - walls and skirting boards visibly dirty and full of dust and dirt.

Location was good. We were not informed to book ahead for a hotel car park, so had to park in casual car park next door and our car was broken into. The room was dirty, cupboard had spill marks not wiped up. The shower had mould everywhere. The bed quilt had yellow stains on it before we even used it. We asked to be on the same floor as our friends, so we could eat together and we were checking out at different times and going out at different times and was told to just swap key cards instead. We asked again why we couldn’t be on the same floor and was told it was easier to swap cards. Which caused confusion cause all 4 of us were going out and coming back at different times so needed individual cards. I asked if we could have new towels and was told to leave them out our door and housekeeping would give us new ones. I thought that was ridiculous cause someone would just take the towels and then we would be charged. If you want location to tram, and a spacious apartment then yes I recommend. And coffee place downstairs was great.

The room was dirty, cupboard had spill marks not wiped up. The shower had mould everywhere. The bed quilt had yellow stains on it before we even used it. We asked to be on the same floor as our friends, so we could eat together and we were checking out at different times and going out at different times and was told to just swap key cards instead. We asked again why we couldn’t be on the same floor and was told it was easier to swap cards. Which caused confusion cause all 4 of us were going out and coming back at different times so needed individual cards. I asked if we could have new towels and was told to leave them out our door and housekeeping would give us new ones. I thought that was ridiculous cause someone would just take the towels and then we would be charged. If you want location to tram, and a spacious apartment then yes I recommend. And coffee place downstairs was great.

Location is great for sightseeing (museums, art galleries). However it is a 5-10 mins walk to decent restaurants and 15min walk to Rundle Mall. The staff were friendly and helpful. But the rooms looked tired and the bathroom definitely needs renovation. Have to ask for more toilet and bathroom supplies on the 2nd day (4 night stay) as we were only given limited supply. Even though WiFi was included, it was very slow and only allowed 3 devices at one time. The price was fair but I think you can find better value elsewhere.

We were originally so happy with Oaks Adelaide. Our apartment was huge! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a lounge room with enough couches and comfy chairs for all of us plus a kitchen table and chairs. There was also heaps of cupboards and storage, more than I have at home! The apartment also had a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, which was fabulous! We also had a lovely balcony that gave us views of Adelaide Oval! It was a wonderful place to stay, however there were some issues… of the 3 lifts/ elevators only 1 was working. It really was such a pain to wait, especially with luggage, as the lift would often be packed when it stopped on our floor. We were easily waiting 5 minutes to get down to the ground. Signs indicated they were working hard to fix the other 2 lifts, but they were both out of order for our entire stay. The other problem we had was on the morning of checking out, we became aware there was prostitution at the hotel. It was very obvious what was happening out the front of the hotel and in the lobby (given they had to wait for the 1 lift that was working!) Despite our wonderful room and a very nice stay, we have since realised this is not the place for a family holiday and unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend it.

The hostility and lack of respect I experienced were clearly discriminatory and gave the impression of racial bias, which is unacceptable in any professional setting. Great location. Close to the mall. Plenty within walking distance. Property itself is nice, staff friendly. Deluxe 2 bedroom apartment was nice, spacious enough for 3. Beds/bedding comfy. Bathroom small, clean. Didn’t use kitchenette (never do in apartments) so can’t comment on it. Overall, enjoyable quick stay and would recommend if needing to be at the Convention centre/Casino/Adelaide oval etc.

Great location, easy parking right next door, and the hotel organised the tickets. Stayed with my 3 small children, very safe and secure. Located in the CBD there was a lot of traffic that could be heard through the windows (6th floor) which is not the fault of the hotel but it was quite noisy.

I stayed here as I had a conference at the Convention centre. It was easy to walk to from here. There were excellent dining options too at restaurants outside of the hotel. I don’t recommend this particular coffee club. Gym could do with some sanitiser and it opens at 0630 which is a little late 0530/0600 would be better. Also a fan or seperate aircon would be nice. I noticed from a review earlier that the spa wasn’t working at it still isn’t. Generally it is tidy. I did have 2 ring pulls left in my sink and would be nice for longer stays after say three nights if they did a quick vacuum. They have a washing machine and dryer which is great but a small clothes horse would be good too. Very convenient for cool bars and restaurants. Big renovation about to start right next door so will be noisy from I think 0700 every morning. Be aware of that.

The let downs: The room was pretty average as far as the finishes go. The kitchen tap wasn’t actually attached to the bench top, cupboards didn’t line up properly and paint from the walls were on the cupboards and furniture. There was also a massive stain on the living room floor. Check in was 2pm but our room wasn’t ready until 2:45pm, I understand housekeeping may have had a really busy day but no one gave us an update or even apologised for the delay. The good stuff: The bedding was very comfortable. The location is great, we were a 5min walk from Adelaide oval, 10 min walk from Rundle mall and the train station was just down the street. Do yourself a favour and have breakfast at the coffee club connected to the hotel, the food was incredible and actually a good price!! We originally booked for 5 with a roll out bed. One of my kids couldn’t make the trip. I contacted the hotel to cancel the extra bed. The Hotel then gave us parking and breakfast for 4 for 2 days as compensation. Very impressed.

Fantastic room and view, staff were lovely. Spa was lovely. Breakfast was a voucher for the Coffee Club, which has a great range, but next time I would just skip the breakfast option and pay for what I want, as I was paying the difference anyway, and that way I am not locked into the same place.

The pool was cold and difficult for older people to get into. Was going to keep my granddaughter entertained in the pool but too cold for small children. No towels at pool, spa closed. Breakfast was a voucher for $25 to coffee club. Not enough for hot meal and smoothie. And couldn’t keep a credit for next day. But room was lovely but expensive for no room service. Big spa bath wonderful.

There were no coffee mugs to drink morning coffee and honestly the pods looked tampered with like someone played and smooshed them. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the hot tub was removed the pool was okay and theres a sauna.
The room was pretty run down, even the central unit had the buttons broken off. one of the bed duvet had dried up blood, the bathroom kept flooding every time we showered. The parking was steep per night and the breakfast cafe was horrible our pancakes came fully uncooked on the inside and overcooked on the outside not sure how thats possible. Very dated floors weren't cleaned properly, bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. Lock broken on door to balcony, not ideal with a toddler. Curtains all hard to use as the tracks were broken. Room needs to be updated badly. Not worth the money it costs
