The room was amazing and spotless. Very comfortable bedding, huge bathroom with tub and separate walk in shower, kitchen had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The location was great. Close to restaurants and right above a wine bar that hosted wine tasting the night we were there. The only minor issue was with a key code for check in but hosts were at the wine bar and helped us with the check in so it wasn’t really a problem. They were very helpful. I would stay there again and again. It was lovely. Thank you

The Benjamin Hotel was absolutely perfect! This is a new hotel so it’s currently a hidden gem. Once more people find out about this place, it will be nearly impossible to book a room. There are only 4 rooms and each one has its own design. We stayed in the Watkins room and it was incredible. It should be known that there is no actual staff. You have a pin to get into your room. It’s really an awesome idea. The rooms are brand new and extremely clean and over the top. The bathroom is huge with a dual shower head shower. The room is extremely spacious with the most comfortable bed ever. Everything in the room is brand new and top notch. Of all the hotels we have ever stayed in, this was definitely the nicest. We can’t recommend this place enough. The only small downfall is there is only currently street parking, but it was perfectly fine. We did speak with some people who said they are working on finding a better parking spot. This hotel was worth every penny!!

Wonderful experience at the Benjamin Hotel. Spacious, comfortable room with great amenities. It was conveniently located in downtown Watkins Glen and while there is no parking onsite, it was never an issue to find easy street parking nearby. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed at the Benjamin for 3 nights and loved it. The room was so attractive, well-planned and spotless. Others have mentioned the parking challenges, so I won’t repeat that concern. However, I cannot believe that no one has mentioned the empty cupboards in the kitchen. There are no dishes of any kind, no plates, no bowls, no mugs, and no utensils at all. If you stay here, you should know this.

Very nice place. Would stay there again. Only negative is that you have to find your own parking and there are stairs to climb to the rooms. Otherwise the rooms are very nice, spacious, and location is great if you want to be in town!

This was like an apartment. It had everything you need yo enjoy your stay! The mini kitchen was great and well stocked. The bathroom was so big! The bed was comfortable and the owners were just downstairs if you needed anything. I ended up forgetting my book there after we checked out. The owners repsonded right away and i was able to get in quickly to retrieve it. I would stay there again and have recommended it to others! Great location too!

This is the swankiest hotel I have stayed at for the price. I stayed in off-season. The bed was comfortable, the location is walkable, off street parking, the shower was excellent, good temperature control, and staff accessible via phone. Only negative is no elevator. Had to haul my luggage up a large staircase.

This hotel is by far our favorite, we will be rebooking in the future. The location is convenient to shops and dinning. The room was so clean & inviting. We very much appreciated the small snack & water offerings, the wine glasses to use after we bought wine while going tasting in the local area. The separate shower was clean, large, great water pressure & stayed hot. We also really liked the “contactless” check in & check out. Like I said, we will absolutely be rebooking and have told many of our friends to book The Benjamin!

Surprisingly new, modern, aesthetically pleasing , very roomy and clean small boutique hotel in the heart of Watkins Glen. The bathrooms are spacey with high ceilings and great shower! The bed is comfortable. You have a full kitchenette and the owners also own a winery and a small bar downstairs and welcome you with a complimentary bottle of Riesling!

My husband and I, along with two other couples, stayed at the Benjamin hotel this weekend. It was absolutely gorgeous! Spacious and VERY clean rooms. The boutique style rooms were decorated perfectly and provided many more amenities and than your average hotel. Highly recommended!!!

Watkins Glen State Park and Seneca Harbor are an easy drive or a comfortable walk away. I stayed in the Watkins Room, which was spotless, spacious, and provided every amenity I could have asked for. The memory foam bed was wonderful. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.

The hotel was unique, had an amazing view of Franklin Street and the best parts of Watkins Glen. Walking distance to the Watkins Glen State Park, restaurants, Seneca Lake, etc. Overall, just what we were looking for!

We loved the room at The Benjamin. The room, itself, was huge, and the bathroom was the largest I've seen anywhere I've stayed. Double sinks and a bathtub in addition to a large shower.

Hotel is right in the middle of the town. Great walking distance from everything. There is no staff. Just use the code texted to you to open the door from the street and they tell you which room is yours. Our room overlooked the street and it was a little loud from the cars but the room is really spacious and the large window shades blocks the street lights. Pretty clean and nice big bathroom and shower.

Amazing stay! Great location. Our room was street side so a little noise but not bad at all. Slept great. Modern and open design. Such a great stay. Only suggestion by wife is makeup mirror. Everything in walking distance. Great location. Very clean.

We just got back from our stay at the Benjamin Hotel in Watkins Glen. The hotel was conveniently located right in the downtown area near all the shops and restaurants and a quick walk down to Lake Seneca. Our room was HUGE! The bathroom itself is the size of some hotel rooms. There was even a walk out to the rooftop. Parking was a breeze, especially since it was fall. The hotel is located directly above a nice bar, a wine bar and a breakfast place. We met the owner down at the wine bar and she even invited us to a private event they were holding that night. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Hotel Benjamin.

Benjamin Hotel was a great quaint hotel to stay at during our Watkins Glen stay. It is located on the Main Street of town allowing for walking distance restaurants, visitor center and Seneca lake. The hotel is more of a studio apartment allowing for a large space to accommodate your belongings. Since this is not your typical hotel there is no front desk but we received further information via text and when I called to refill towels and toiletries the staff responded immediately and provided all items requested. One item to note is that there’s a back door to the room that lead to the back side of the house. We stayed in the Watkins room and it made me a bit uneasy but the police department is right next door which helped ease my mind. One final note is there was not housekeeping so it’s up to you to keep the room cleanly but if we called to request service it may have been provided. Overall great stay for a new hotel that opened less than a month ago!

The room is extremely spacious with the most comfortable bed ever. Everything in the room is brand new and top notch. Of all the hotels we have ever stayed in, this was definitely the nicest. We can’t recommend this place enough. The only small downfall is there is only currently street parking, but it was perfectly fine. We did speak with some people who said they are working on finding a better parking spot. This hotel was worth every penny!!
The Benjamin Hotel was absolutely perfect! This is a new hotel so it’s currently a hidden gem. Once more people find out about this place, it will be nearly impossible to book a room. There are only 4 rooms and each one has its own design. We stayed in the Watkins room and it was incredible. It should be known that there is no actual staff. You have a pin to get into your room. It’s really an awesome idea. The rooms are brand new and extremely clean and over the top. The bathroom is huge with a dual shower head shower. Unique and beautiful experience. The amenities are well appointed and the communication has been convenient and friendly throughout. The room is surprisingly modern and spacious. All around 5 stars and we will be back!

Hotel is right in the middle of the town. Great walking distance from everything. There is no staff. Just use the code texted to you to open the door from the street and they tell you which room is yours. Our room overlooked the street and it was a little loud from the cars but the room is really spacious and the large window shades blocks the street lights. Pretty clean and nice big bathroom and shower.

This was like an apartment. It had everything you need yo enjoy your stay! The mini kitchen was great and well stocked. The bathroom was so big! The bed was comfortable and the owners were just downstairs if you needed anything. I ended up forgetting my book there after we checked out. The owners repsonded right away and i was able to get in quickly to retrieve it. I would stay there again and have recommended it to others! Great location too!

This is the swankiest hotel I have stayed at for the price. I stayed in off-season. The bed was comfortable, the location is walkable, off street parking, the shower was excellent, good temperature control, and staff accessible via phone. Only negative is no elevator. Had to haul my luggage up a large staircase.

This hotel is by far our favorite, we will be rebooking in the future. The location is convenient to shops and dinning. The room was so clean & inviting. We very much appreciated the small snack & water offerings, the wine glasses to use after we bought wine while going tasting in the local area. The separate shower was clean, large, great water pressure & stayed hot. We also really liked the “contactless” check in & check out. Like I said, we will absolutely be rebooking and have told many of our friends to book The Benjamin!

If you’re ever going to be in the Watkins Glen/Seneca Lake area you have to stay here. Amazingly comfortable, clean and leaves you feeling like you’re at a luxurious hotel with a small town feel. Right on the Main Street of town and within walking distance to great restaurants and attractions. Love the ease of check in and getting your room assignment. Quiet and safe. Can’t wait to go back!

Vey charming hotel in the heart of town. Most restaurants are in walking distance, and so is the lake. The rooms are big and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. We only stayed one night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was large, modern, immaculately clean and comfortable. The bathroom is amazing. Street parking was easy. The hotel is located on the main street and the state parking is in walking distance.

Surprisingly new, modern, aesthetically pleasing , very roomy and clean small boutique hotel in the heart of Watkins Glen. The bathrooms are spacey with high ceilings and great shower! The bed is comfortable. You have a full kitchenette and the owners also own a winery and a small bar downstairs and welcome you with a complimentary bottle of Riesling!

The room was amazing and spotless. Very comfortable bedding, huge bathroom with tub and separate walk in shower, kitchen had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The location was great. Close to restaurants and right above a wine bar that hosted wine tasting the night we were there. The only minor issue was with a key code for check in but hosts were at the wine bar and helped us with the check in so it wasn’t really a problem. They were very helpful. I would stay there again and again. It was lovely. Thank you

We just got back from our stay at the Benjamin Hotel in Watkins Glen. The hotel was conveniently located right in the downtown area near all the shops and restaurants and a quick walk down to Lake Seneca. Our room was HUGE! The bathroom itself is the size of some hotel rooms. There was even a walk out to the rooftop. Parking was a breeze, especially since it was fall. The hotel is located directly above a nice bar, a wine bar and a breakfast place. We met the owner down at the wine bar and she even invited us to a private event they were holding that night. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Hotel Benjamin.

We usually stay at a nice B and B outside of town for about the same price. This time, I thought we would stay in town so we could walk to restaurants and not worry about driving, especially after a few wine tours. That was a great decision. Okay, the on-street/municipal parking lot (very close) might discourage some, but if your focus is only on convenient parking go to a standard motel/hotel. This place is truly unique and the parking is very close. We loved the spacious room. Love the brick. The bathroom was very cool. Nicely done. Exceptionally clean. Great location. It was a very good decision to stay in town, and at this hotel. Way more fun. We also enjoyed the wine bar downstairs. I would give you 5 Stars. Thanks so much for a great stay. Pat O'Hara

Watkins Glen State Park and Seneca Harbor are an easy drive or a comfortable walk away. I stayed in the Watkins Room, which was spotless, spacious, and provided every amenity I could have asked for. We were blown away by this room and its amenities. I can honestly say that we’ve never stayed in a hotel that was as nice as this one. The room was incredibly spacious, the decor was terrific, the view from the huge windows was awesome and to top it off the bed was incredibly comfortable. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the Jefferson room which faced the street. The room was beautiful with dimmer switches on all of the lighting which is a big deal to me because it shows the attention to detail. The room was very clean, and we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The Nespresso machine was a really nice touch in addition to a Keurig. There is no elevator so just be aware if you have trouble with heavy luggage going up a flight of steps.

We had a very comfortable stay. Super clean, beautiful bath and shower, nice living area. We loved the contactless check in and check out, though when we had a question or wanted to let the hotel know about something it was hard to get a hold of them. Overall, we loved it here and would stay again next time we are in WG.
