Tropical weather worn but it has all you need. Stayed a few days. Good kitchen in room. Spacious with a good bed, shower and seating for a family. Staff were very helpful and prompt with anything I asked. Check in was easy. Quiet park despite being busy. Laundry was a disappointment - expensive at $8 to wash or dry (and the dryer didn't despite a small load on high) - coinless so a credit card charge on top. Exactly the same machines I used at Coober Pedy for $5. Overall a good central spot to get around. Shops nearby and fast food if desired.

No wifi unless at office area. Deal breaker for our kids. 2 large cockroaches in one bedroom. No slide in pool area. Shade sails old and tatty. Whole pool area needs attention. Park needs some water, painting and updating. No reception on tv. Top priority needs to be fixing lack of internet throughout the park. Good things: lack of noise, central location, lots of bbqs throughout the park, good size cabins with full size fridge and cooking facilities. Office staff friendly as kids spent quite a bit of time there using their internet connection.

We book 3 nights in the beginning, than we booked 7more nights because it’s too comfortable. The pool is so clean and enough deep. The neighbors are so friendly. Also the staffs are so nice and warm. We will definitely come back again.

It was neat and tidy. Good place for kids we had a large amount of kids there is a park for the little ones and a fun pirate pool for the big ones also a baby pool. Excellent place to stay!

We booked a standard family cabin for 5 nights at this property. However, upon checking in at 10 pm on the 8th October, we discovered cockroaches in multiple areas, including the toilet, kitchen, wardrobe, bunk bed frame, clean towels on the bed, under the bunk bed mattress etc. We immediately approached the night shift worker, acknowledging the infestation. Unfortunately, his response was dismissive, attributing the issue to the tropical location. As a tropical region native, I know this is not an acceptable excuse for inadequate pest control. The staff provided bug spray, which we used, but more cockroaches appeared. Exhausted, we decided to find alternative accommodation last minute and left the property without knowing if they would refund us as the night shift worker mentioned he couldn’t do it and we will have to speak to the manager next day. We promptly checked out and found another room elsewhere, costing us $100 extra for a last minute booking. We emailed the property the following day, and they agreed to refund our stay, estimating a 10-day processing time, we hope we receive our refund soon and the property owner take action for preventing it in future.

We have stayed here numerous times and have always gone with the theory you pay for what you get. It’s usually cheaper than a motel so at times it works for us. However, that saying is starting to get thin now. Last time it felt like we were going to fall thru the shower floor if we stood in the middle. This time the tv didn’t work, security door jammed when opening and closing it, bedroom door wasn’t on the rollers properly and the list goes on.

The room was fine with lots of hot water with the shower and the staff were lovely. And there was a free book exchange facility which was great. However, everything is a bit tired and it was quite noisy because of the location. But it was not expensive.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Parking was at the door to our villa, important for two older ladies with mobility issues. We had two bedrooms, the second containing a double with single bunk bed above. Don't be fooled by the poor photo on many booking sites, the room was comfortable and way above my expectations. The location was sufficiently private and quiet. I will be saving this location as my preferred booking for Cairns visits.

My first time in a holiday park. I loved my little home. Easy to get into the city as the bus stop is right outside for 50 cents. Shared facilities were clean. Friendly staff. Only downside is no wifi not even in the reception area as ot was not working. I was there 3 days and no wifi throughout.

Stayed 4 nights. Helpful friendly front staff that go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Nothing was too much trouble. Nice clean room, bed and bathroom. Being a park and cabin, we felt safe and comfortable at all times. A very well-run business. We will stay again.

The tv remote didn’t work, the smoke/alarm detector kept going off for no reason. Although this is not the owners fault, we were put beside a picnic table where a bunch of people were smoking and drinking and being very noisy. When we came in the room, the windows had been left open and all the smoke from their cigarettes was all over the room - it was absolutely terrible (I get migraines and nausea from the smell). The people smoking and drinking were noisy until past 4am. If you can book somewhere else, I’d highly recommend skipping this one.

I booked through wotif for the first night, we decided to stay a second night if it was available and was charged $10 more for the 2nd night when we stayed in the same cabin therefore didn't have it serviced or new sheets or towels, when I asked at reception as to why the gentleman was very rude to me, It doesn't make since to me

Tropical weather worn but it has all you need. Stayed a few days. Good kitchen in room. Spacious with a good bed, shower and seating for a family. Staff were very helpful and prompt with anything I asked. Check in was easy. Quiet park despite being busy. Laundry was a disappointment - expensive at $8 to wash or dry (and the dryer didn't despite a small load on high) - coinless so a credit card charge on top. Exactly the same machines I used at Coober Pedy for $5. Overall a good central spot to get around. Shops nearby and fast food if desired.

Everything that we needed was there. We only stayed for a brief night but if staying longer all facilities to cater for your own meals was there. Would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was lovely and clean, well laid out and quiet. Felt safe with the well made security screens. Water pressure was excellent, lovely hot shower. Close to shops for meals although cabin was fully self contained.

The property needed a little updating hot plates one of them wouldn't work and was slightly rusted and starting to fall apart. The other worked but was slow to heat up even when turned up to high. Otherwise it was alright.

Reading the terrible reviews after booking I was ready to go to plan B but I when booked in and went to the cabin I was surprised to see a clean well maintained area. A bit noisy early in the morning and a bit of a walk to external facilities but BOY what a surprise was in store at the local tavern, I would have to say the best pub grub I have had in a very long time

We stayed for 6 nights, lovely queen bed and triple bunk beds. The cabins are very homey and comfortable, and a nice big fridge. And the swimming pool was clean and big enough to cater for children of all ages. A couple of posts on the verandah needed to be welded, I was surprised that within 12 hours a very nice young man had supplied new posts and it was as good as new. If you are looking for upmarket accommodation then this is not the place for you, however if you would rather spend your money enjoying your holiday, then the comfortable cabins have more space and are only half the price of other advertised hotels etc., definately recommend for families looking for space, and cooking facilities and excellent air con

The place is okay for an overnight stay. It's also cheap. The cabins could do with a new paint job & some of the wooden screens could be replaced for more privacy. Overall, if you're looking to budget & travel, then I would recommend staying here.

When I checked in room, I noticed strange smell - have been thinking: this smell coming out of sink. Whole time of my stay in cabin, I kept windows open and opened door from time to time. Thay helped a bit. On 2th day I started feel weak and with strong hade ache, from that smell. One one friend visited me in tbe evening, around 8pm. He discovered that 2 burn of gad colker where half open! And gas was coming out. He switched off this 2 burns, we opened doors and switched on fan. I stayed 3th night in room, smell gone. When (in my check out time) I told on reeption: THERE WHERE 2 GAS BURN OPEN -- THEY DiDN'T BELIEVE ME. They asked: Why not came to reception before? And: yes, THEY ARE RIGHT, FROM ONE SIDE. Depends on which room you are allocated. My first use I was sent to cabin 86. That was old but all functioning and I liked that for the price. I give them 8 star out of 10. Two nights later I used tham again and that time I was sent to cabin 113. That was bad, I only give them 5 out of 10. What was not good : 10 cockroaches, a cigarette butt on fridge, grumpy neighbours (it is located within residential area of van park)
