We had a great stay in Dwellingup, just a couple of nights mid week to escape the routine n have some quality time with the kiddos in the bush. House was perfect, clean, well equip and in a lovely spot close to all amenities. We loved the fire and supply of wood provided as well as the little garden and the fact we could walk into town. Loads to see in the area and we were out of season for the train ride so will be back!

This is our third stay at this wonderful little cottage. You could not want for anything more. Cosy and comfortable with an old world atmosphere but with modern conveniences. Kitchen is well equipped with lots of extras provided. A real home away from home experience. Full credit to the hosts.

Our stay included everything we needed to make our road trip a success. Great location, cosy cottage well equipped, quiet area, close to shops and an easy drive to Pinjarra for exploring and gaining creative inspiration. It was about a 3 minute drive to catch the Hotham Valley Train. Close to lots of cafes and restaurants and a quick trip to Vergones for lovely fresh fruit and vegetables..Sue and Brian made everything very easy for us and even offered different check in and check out times.The verandah was a lovely place to sit and relax and watch the birds come into the native shrubs.

This was our 3rd visit to this fabulous cottage, great location and a perfect home away from home. The a/cond and fire kept us very warm on the cold nights/days and we slept well in comfortable beds after bush walks, zip lines and trips to Pinjarra. As the 4-year-old said "See you next time"........highly recommend.

This clean, comfortable cottage is thoughtfully and comprehensively equipped for a relaxing stay. Highlights are a pleasant front veranda for birdwatching by day and warm fire at night. Sue and Brian are gracious hosts. Ours was a return visit and we'll stay again soon.

We stayed in the cottage as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) with 3 bedrooms being available. This is an older cottage but equipped with modern kitchen and bathrooms with 2 toilets and all the needed appliances including dishwasher, washing machine and a dryer making the stay for a family very comfortable. Some food was also available; such as oil, salt, sugar, rice, flour plus selection of teas which was a nice bonus. The cottage is positioned in a quiet area next to other houses and about 10 mins walk to the Dwellingup town, also perfect base for mountain bike and walking trails. The bedrooms have blackout blinds as well as curtains which make the rooms pretty dark, ideal for good sleep. Sue and Brian were very responsive and we would definitely stay again.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We especially appreciated the excellent heating, which kept us cosy on literally the coldest day of the year! Generous supply of wood, well equipped and spacious kitchen, with all essentials provided. We would love to come again.

Loved the old timber workers cottage that has been restored lovingly and authentically, down to retaining the old concrete base of the dunny! Everything was provided for the convenience and comfort of guests, including pantry items excessive to needs. The cottage was immaculate, the beds clean and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots, glasses etc. The cottage setting was close to town centre yet quiet and peaceful. Pleasant garden with ample bird life. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Thank you for the use of your holiday home Sue and Brian.

We entered the cottage with the expectation that it would be a lot smaller than it was. To our (happy) surprise, there was space galore! While the house is old, it has been well maintained. And with all the appliances and conveniences provided (including the slow combustion wood fire place), we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our 3-night visit.

Absolutely lovely cottage, cosy and very comfortable. Very well appointed with everything you need. We were a family of 6 aged between 10 and 76 and was perfect for all our needs. Lovely veranda to sit and watch the birds with a cuppa in the morning. Cottage is close enough to town that we could easily walk (including dad on his mobility scooter). Short drive into the national park and close to the mountain bike tracks for hubby and daughter. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our short weekend stay. The home was cosy and warm despite the freezing temps! Communication was good with very quick responses. The home had so many little extra's that is not usual - soaps, candles, torches, plenty of wood, essential pantry items, coffee pods, games, kitchen useful such as foil. We will definitely be back :)

We love staying is this cottage. It's got all we need, is cozy in winter when we typically come to Dwellingup and Brian and Sue are always so responsive and accommodating.

Had a great time exploring with mountain bike ride and bush walks not far away. The cottage was a cosy home away from home lots of birds in the front garden ,well equipped kitchen although we didn't cook much and comfortable bed . Owners were very good with communicating and sorted out early check-in. Would highly recommend a 15 /20 minute walk to winetree cider ( take a torch to walk home in winter)

Our stay included everything we needed to make our road trip a success. Great location, cosy cottage well equipped, quiet area, close to shops and an easy drive to Pinjarra for exploring and gaining creative inspiration. It was about a 3 minute drive to catch the Hotham Valley Train. Close to lots of cafes and restaurants and a quick trip to Vergones for lovely fresh fruit and vegetables..Sue and Brian made everything very easy for us and even offered different check in and check out times.The verandah was a lovely place to sit and relax and watch the birds come into the native shrubs.

Absolutely lovely cottage, cosy and very comfortable. Very well appointed with everything you need. We were a family of 6 aged between 10 and 76 and was perfect for all our needs. Lovely veranda to sit and watch the birds with a cuppa in the morning. Cottage is close enough to town that we could easily walk (including dad on his mobility scooter). Short drive into the national park and close to the mountain bike tracks for hubby and daughter. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the Woodcutters Cottage in Dwellingup over the long weekend. It was so lovely, clean and cosy. We really enjoyed it. The close proximity to the Lane Poole Reserve and walking distance to the pub really suited us.

Beautiful little cottage in great location. Very peaceful stting out on verandah overlooking lovely garden & looking out to forest in the distance. And we enjoyed the beautiful little bird visitors when they came by!

Had a great time exploring with mountain bike ride and bush walks not far away. The cottage was a cosy home away from home lots of birds in the front garden ,well equipped kitchen although we didn't cook much and comfortable bed . Owners were very good with communicating and sorted out early check-in. Would highly recommend a 15 /20 minute walk to winetree cider ( take a torch to walk home in winter)

The cottage was lovely. It was a beautiful country cottage nestled in the quiet Dwellingup. It was close to town and to local attractions. It had a beautiful warm fireplace with wood provided and air conditioning. An old cottage with a lot of charm. Well maintained and very comfortable. Loved staying here. Hosts were quick to reply to messages and communication.

The most lovely cottage for a weekend getaway. Everything we needed was provided. Beautifully clean. Comfortable beds. A short walk into town. So convenient to have two toilets!Favourite part of the house was sitting on the cosy front verandah and watching the birds; you really can see all the birds they show photos of! Would love to go back!

The amenities were great! Very clean and cost - the beds were especially so! Well stocked with utensils, crockery and cutlery; pots pans; tea towels etc; and, bless the owners - lots of dishwasher tablets!!! (We have been to other places which have been very stingy with dishwasher tablets). Excellent air con and a lovely quiet street. Fabulous!
