Paraíso do Observador de Navios no St. Clair River

Fabulous location for ship watching! The home is updated with modern finishes and amenities. Air conditioning and ceiling fans kept it comfy when the outside temp was upper 80s. The host, Andrew, was immediately responsive to our random questions. The parking is in front of a detached garage at the roadside, so you have to haul your belongings (on a concrete sidewalk) around the garage, across the front lawn, then up 4 steps to the house. It's not a big deal, but next time, I'd bring a dolly or pack lighter. Hahaha.

Excellent in every way except TV streaming set up was poor for streaming.

There was plenty of room for all of us down in the family room, living room and kitchen area, 9. We played games. Had a good time. Got to watch the ice flow down the river., a storm came in and we didn’t know it until we seen the lightning on the river. It was pretty quiet in the house, the fireplace was a great addition.

Great location for watching Great Lakes freighters! Charming old home with old home quirks. Host responsive to questions.

Very relaxing place!! Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Just like your kitchen at home. Close to town too!
