Divya Sutra Suites On Robson Downtown Vancouver draws mixed feedback: travellers like the central Robson Street location, spacious suites with balconies or kitchens, and generally friendly staff, but many note dated rooms and inconsistent upkeep.

Would never stay again, my partner and I travel a lot. I use my hotels app and we use his credit card to pay. Would not let us check in because the reservation was under my name but we wanted to use his card. Despite us both being there with ID. I understand if they have a different policy but that should be clearly stated when booking. It felt almost impossible because you couldn’t just change the reservation as it had passed check in time. Thank goodness for the Hotels.com workers who helped us check in because they called the hotel. We had a room with a kitchenette with a full stove and oven. Perfect we thought we could save some money and meal prep. Went and bought groceries only to find if you want to use the oven that’s an extra charge. Again that’s fine but maybe make that clear. It was advertised that it was included no where did it mention there was an additional fee for that or cutlery! Not even any signage in the room stating that we found out because I called the front desk to say it wasn’t working and was told then. The room itself was spacious clean and nice but all this extra nonsense made it a very stressful and non enjoyable experience. Will never return

The room was excellent, the staff were fabulous however I it's been over a week now and I still haven't received my deposit back from them which is odd. They say it's on my banks end which is weird because I usually get my deposits back next day...this Is only issue I have..I hope I get it back soon $150 is alot of cash

Awful. Check in took forever and there’s no where to park while you do as you need a key to get into the parking garage. Parking was also $35 a night. We had to pay $25 to use the stove in our room this was not mentioned until we tried to turn it on. Our group had an allergy so part of why we picked this hotel was the kitchen. The room itself was clean enough but there was paint splatters everywhere including on the bedding. I’m not sure what detergent they use but everyone in my group was very itchy after sleeping in the beds or using the towels. The noise was also pretty bad you could hear anytime anyone flushed the toilet in other rooms. The entire floor reeked like a pet store. I will not be staying here again and for the price the quality of the room and extra charges were outrageous.
