American Regency Inn

The room was large, Check in process was quick. Parking spaces are tight, and the walls are thin (heard baby crying in the middle of the night).

There is no microwave in the room. It is sitting outside in a parking lot. The rooms were OK not very clean. And the pillows were terrible.

Pros.. location in center of town close to restaurants shops and a couple of nice bars. Hotel is clean. Refrigerator and coffee maker. Manager is responsive. Easy parking. Low price. Cons.. facilities are older and worn. Beds are too soft. No pool. No breakfast. Looks a little dumpy on the outside. It's fine if you're measure your expectations

Upon arriving for check in, had to find a bell to ring to speak to someone (there’s a prominent sign saying “ring bell for service” but no bell at sign). Checked in afterward. Couldn’t find an ice machine. After going to the front to ask for ice, was told “it’s temporarily down”. I located the ice machine later on, the “out of order” sign has been up for some time, it’s weathered and you can clearly tell there is no ice available at location. The room was filthy. The “sofa” in the description is a chair. The refrigerator was unplugged and there was a horrible smell coming from it. The bed squeaks anytime you turn. There was a residue of brown substance all over the bathroom wall. You get two pillows, both equate to one, in my opinion. The floors were disgusting! I had a ton of crap covering my socks. Pet hair, dust, etc.

The property is beat up and old but clean. Check in staff was super friendly. The staircase going to the second floor might be the most challenging staircase I’ve ever climbed. Luggage made it more so. Go slow. Electricity went out twice, I use a CPAP machine so that means I’m awake until it was fixed, which was maybe 10 minutes both times. Pillows are thin. The showerhead leaked like crazy but provided plenty of water with good temperature control. Towels could use some bleach. Everything worked including the heater which was surprisingly quiet. I never felt in danger. The motel is not a looker but good bang for the buck.

Manager keeps only one microwave which also not properly functioning for all of the hotel complex. It is not worthy to stay in the hotel as per cost. It is better to check other Inn/motels/hotels in the same area,

Great one night stay on the way to the Grand Canyon. Owner was very nice and personable room was very comfortable and had everything that you need. Ice machine and microwave just outside that worked very good. Give them a call before you head to the Grand Canyon or anywhere Along I 40 that has you passing through Williams Williams.

Only one microwave machine standing in the corner of the complex for the use of all guests. We had to go in and out in the cold to heat up our meals. The hotel staff offered help to do this in his office but we didn’t take up his kind offer because we preferred doing it ourselves.

Amenities were not great to say the least, a single outdoor microwave shared with everyone...

Room was dirty, sure newley painted....right over dirt grime and hair. Bed was disgustingly dirty no pillow case covers and they wete old, dingy and uncomfortable. Mattress was dirty, mattress cover covered ins yains crumbs and God knows what. Soaps were in a dirty bucket. Only positive was the gentleman in the lobby was nice. I could go on witb wby not to stay here.

The only thing good was the price and procimity to Grand Canyon, 1 hour drive out, its decent for 1 night for those trying to save money. The property itself was poor. The bathtub/bathroom was super dirty and small, the room was small, aircon was weak, the beds were small but avg. No ammenaties at all. There were dust and dirt on one side of my bed and overall very dirty.

The room was nasty, it's was very dirty. The floor was very dirty, was dirty on the entry, the corners, around the bed, under the table, the baseboards were too dusty. the blanket was dury. So everything was nasty.I didn’t want to stay there because was terrible 😪. The hotel didn’t refund me nothing I called Hotels.com asking for help but they just gave me $25. So I will never recommend this hotel.

Room appears clean however anytime you move around on the bet dirt and dust blows out from under the bed. The microwave was dirty and we found mold in the corners of the bathroom ceiling.

Well the staff was very friendly however, upon checking in I realized the linen had not been changed from the previous guest. There was pubic hairs all over the inside of the bedding and then we found that the beds had bed bugs. We had to spend a part of our vacation at the laundromat cleaning all our luggage and clothing so we would not bring them back with us. I've stayed at many hotels and I have never had to deal with bed bugs. The staff was very friendly and gave me new linens and when I complained about the bed bugs they acted like they didn't know but I'm sure they did.

Run down and not that clean. It is convenient and it was only for one night. I scraped a 1/4” layer of dust of the A/C filter.

Refrigerator was grimy inside and out. Floor was not vacuumed. Dirt collected on bed headboard. Sheets and towels were stained.

When reserving the 2 rooms, requested adjoining rooms. Also asked for room on 1st floor if no elevator. Was told by clerk at check-in, his brother must have only seen the comments on one room. Hello, adjoining rooms means 2 or more together. Glucose tablet sticking out from under our bed. Someone else’s leftovers in the fridge on 1st floor. Room on 2nd floor had used shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower.

This was a great hotel. While the property looks dated, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great location and friendly staff.

Nice room, nothing fancy. Love the shower head. Check in was difficult. The clerk had difficulty remembering my name and finding our reservation. We had to show him on the screen several times. The run is very noisy. Floors are a bit stained.

Nice and quiet room with plenty of space for the family.

Room needs work, it took 10minutes of pushing the button to get the guy to come to the front counter to check me in, t the internet didn't work, my phone and laptop locked up to the hotel router but the router didn't connect to the outside network.

The room was freezing cold and wifi really bad.

The room was decent. it looked renovated. it was clean - small critique is the cleaning crew did not ensure the coffee uticle bags with stir creamer sugar were unopened. If you are sensitive to noise stay in the upstairs rooms or the other single story rooms. the walls are very thin

There was no microwave, the wifi didn’t work, the fridge didn’t work. Paid a lot for a low end room that basically nothing worked in.

The room is very spacious. It has a stovetop, a fridge and a microwave. Though we didn’t use it. The bedsheets and towels were a little old in our bedroom. We asked for clean ones.

The owner/front desk attendant displayed unprofessional behavior during my stay. Initially, he charged my card twice, and when I brought this to his attention, he shifted blame to Expedia, claiming it was their charge. Despite my persistence in resolving the issue, he proceeded to charge my card again for four nights. On the third night of my stay, when I attempted to access my room, I was denied entry. The owner informed me that he had assumed I had checked out and subsequently allocated the room to another guest. Shockingly, he failed to issue a refund for the two extra nights. This experience left me feeling deceived and frustrated, as it appeared to be a clear attempt to scam me

We tried to check in at 9pm and no one was around. We waited 15 minutes, ringing the outside bell and inside bell, calling and hearing the phone ring but no one answered. Called to get my money back but since they couldn’t get a hold of the property they couldn’t get approval to refund. Finally when 2 cops showed up at 9:35 (not sure why) the front desk employee (name starts with a P) appeared and was incredibly rude, said we were lying and that he wasn’t gone 20+ minutes, he only left long enough to get someone a blanket and refused to refund us. I told him to check his security cameras but apparently they don’t work. When I was looking for the property phone number online, I realized that through their website we would have paid 2/3 what we paid through hotels.com and their customer service wouldn’t help me when I had issues anyway. When we finally got a room, it smelled like a middle school boys locker room, the shower was so moldy I was sure I’d be more dirty than before if I tried to shower, the room was 54 degrees and never warmed up despite the loud window unit running all night, and you could hear every conversation happening outside the door but at least the floors and sheets looked clean. We’re incredibly tired on our way to hike the Grand Canyon, would not recommend this hotel and will never be using this site again.

It was a nice place to stay. Great service. Check in was great. Definitely went above and beyond to accommodate. Will stay again.

I was running behind in my check in about 1:30 in the morning and the owner was kind enough to leave my key available for me to pick up he's very convenient. Then he greeted me the next morning to make sure that everything was okay. The service was above and beyond.

I made a reservation and when I arrived they had given my 2 bed room to somebody else. They gave me another room bigeer oke with 3 beds which was fine, but at 6 am the guy CAME INTO MY ROOM to demand that we switched to the room i had originally reserved, SO DISRESPECTFUL ENTERING INTO CUSTOMERS ROOMS AND NOT EVEN KNOCKING THE DOOR, when they were the ones that messed up the rooms. Never again

Check out is 10 AM The cleaning man almost broke down the door at 10:01 and was very rude.

These people have a 10 o'clock. Check out sometimes you're barely up to do 10 o'clock. No wiggle room either. And you can't Check-in until 3. Go next door where they allow you to Check-in early and stay tell 11 like most normal hotels. These people have to learn customer service.

What really stands out about this location is the staff. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and accommodate us. I haven’t met someone so diligent and kind trying to accommodate a stay for us.

Right in the middle of the Williams shopping area, so it was really convenient. Price point on the room was very fair.

Convenient to get around town

Check in was fast, rooms were nice and clean. It was right off a street with older Rt.66 buildings, but it was quiet. It’s a really good spot if you want to be able to walk and find good food or bars. I’ll stay here again next trip.

Good downtown location. Everything is walkable from this spot.

The room was clean and the staff member was respectful. It was affordable too. We are grateful to have been able to find a place really close to the Polar Express.

This cozy little place was perfect on the price, better for the location, even better on the customer service. It’s not the Waldorf but it was great for our three day mini vacation. My wife is picky and used to the higher priced hotels, this was a spur of the moment getaway and I was surprised on the shops and restaurants that were all within walking distance.
