This luxury home had it all! Spacious rooms to host our four families (total of 13 guests); large swimming pool for fun games; sport court for pickleball (we brought a pickleball set); Blanco River frontage with deep water; huge dining table for meals and games; separate den area for the younger guests; every kitchen item we needed; three coffee pots; full size toiletries and plenty of toilet tissue! I cannot say enough great things about this home. We are definitely returning!

So relaxing with the design of the house and property. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, a great plus. All the extras, basketball goal, pavilion, fire ring, grill, large porches for chilling in the shade and breeze. Easy to access with the help of the management’s instructions. Highly recommend staying here with family.

I friend and I got together to celebrate two Sister's of St Benedict celebrating their 75 th Birthday's . We planned this trip for over a year. I flew in from MN - my friend lives in Wimberly. We came a few days to prepare for their arrival. When we walked in we were amazed at the beautiful pool, spa hot tub. The landscaping was amazing . We played corn ball and “HORSE” in basketball. We walked all on the property. We lite fires in the fireplace,listening to music over their” SONUS” Sytem.Saw a full rainbow on our last night. Had an issue with the propane grill- but Mike came over right away and educated me on it.Thank you so much Robert and wife for opening up your home to us.

This property has a awesome layout, big bedrooms to accommodate multiple guest. The pool is refreshing, you have the river close and on the property, with no one to bother you. This place has thought of all your needs and highly recommend this place.

This is a truly exceptional Hill Country retreat. Located on a lovely section of the Blanco River, with all the amenities you could hope to find. Outdoors, we enjoyed the large pool and hot tub, lighted pergola with seating near a fire pit for s'mores and corn hole or basketball for recreation after a swim in the river or pool. The house is stunning - large open living spaces and kitchen that is equipped for cooking and serving large groups. Anything we needed for meal prep was within easy reach. Outside the living area is a covered outdoor porch that surrounds is open from two sides with lots of seating for conversations and outdoor dining space. There is also a small den tucked away for a quiet space we used as a playroom for our youngest. The bedrooms and adjoining baths are spacious and well-appointed with large windows and beautiful views of the property. Lots of towels for the pool as well as large towels for the baths. The host had clearly anticipated any needs we might have during our stay, as we never went looking for something. He was also quick to respond to any messages I sent. Kudos for labeling all the lighting and providing clear instructions for check-out, which was quite simple. We will definitely return to this relaxing paradise in the Hill Country. Thank you, Roby, for an exceptional experience!

Highly recommend!!! Roby was excellent in terms of communication and responsiveness. The house was exceptional - clean, spacious, and had every amenity we could have possibly needed. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub, exploring the creek, basketball hoop, and fire place. Our multi-family visit was excellent and we would love to come again!

Everything about the house and the property was exactly as advertised! This home had it all! Spacious rooms to host our family of 11 (7 adults & 4 children), a large swimming pool, basketball court, fire pit, Blanco River frontage with deep water, huge dining table, well stocked kitchen with every item we needed! Roby's communication was excellent, and he replied immediately to any questions we had before and during our stay. We cannot say enough great things about this home. We will definitely return!

Each summer our family of twelve takes a trip, and this was one of the best. Between the house, porch, pool, pavilion and the river, we never really needed to leave to find entertainment. Swimming, fishing and corn hole were big players! We cooked dinner each evening and found the kitchen very well stocked. H-E-B is ten minutes away so grocery shopping was easy. Sleeping accommodations worked perfectly for us. Grandmother stayed in the downstairs bonus room. Each of the three couples had their own room and the teens and children shared the bedroom with three beds. This house definitely lived up to the hype. What a great place! Thank you, Roby.

A well designed house for families. Easy walk to river. Wonderful porch and pool arrangement with good fence and gates for the littles. Only one small issue was, the washroom ice maker did not dispense ice. All else was excellent! We would recommend this property to our friends.

Had a great stay! the house is very large, has toys and games for kids, has pool equipment, the spa was wonderful to use and heat up when the sun went down. Rooms are large with lots of beds and baths. Every room has an en-suite. The kitchen is well stocked although the oven is dated and makes a loud noise when it is heating. Two fridges so lots of space to keep your beverages cold. OVerall had a great stay and would absolutely come back again! We have stayed at numerous places in Hill country and this is a great find.

We had such a nice time. It rained the most of the week but we were very comfortable in the house. It’s super clean and has all of the amenities you could want. Robert was very easy to get ahold of and very helpful. We were very pleased!

This place is amazing. There is nothing it doesnt give you. Relaxing, beautiful, fun, spacious, luxury and so fabulous, you will want to return every year like I do with my family. We never miss this trip to this property and never will!!!!!

We had the best family get together at this Wimberley home. The 5 bedrooms were perfect. We cooked most of our meals, and we had everything we needed in this well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing in and around the pool. There had been rain so that we could not explore the river as it was a little high, but we did play games on the basketball court. We will definitely rent this home again.

The Wimberley Retreat welcomed our family (3 generations) for the second time, and we were wowed all over again! There is so much to do, both inside and outside--and all so relaxing. The kitchen was just right for all our meal prep, and the bedrooms & baths were nice, too. The common areas were spacious enough for us to gather comfortably, but cozy enough to allow for lots of memory-making activities. The pool in this heat wave was the main gathering spot, and the shaded porches near the house and near the river worked well for us, too. We can't thank Roby and his family enough for sharing their wonderful vacation home with our family! Grateful in Katy

This place is amazing. Me and my extended family come to this house every year! We love it so much! The property is beautiful, the landscape is breathtaking and we see deer running around every morning. The gourmet kitchen is fabulous, outdoor covered patio is huge and there several areas to hang out without the sun! Outdoor grill is so nice and plenty of room for everybody. We all love going to the river and hanging out on the big rocks enjoying nature! Such a special place and we are never disappointed. The owner always checks on us and is very accommodating and if there is ever an issue , he takes care of it in a flash! This place is so special to my family. It is a yearly trip we talk about all year! Love it!!

We all love going to the river and hanging out on the big rocks enjoying nature! Such a special place and we are never disappointed. The owner always checks on us and is very accommodating and if there is ever an issue , he takes care of it in a flash! This place is so special to my family. It is a yearly trip we talk about all year! Love it!!

Each summer our family of twelve takes a trip, and this was one of the best. Between the house, porch, pool, pavilion and the river, we never really needed to leave to find entertainment. Swimming, fishing and corn hole were big players! We cooked dinner each evening and found the kitchen very well stocked. H-E-B is ten minutes away so grocery shopping was easy. Sleeping accommodations worked perfectly for us. Grandmother stayed in the downstairs bonus room. Each of the three couples had their own room and the teens and children shared the bedroom with three beds. This house definitely lived up to the hype. What a great place! Thank you, Roby.

WOW! My family, consisting of 7 adults and 5 kiddos (aged 6 month to 10 years), enjoyed a wonderful spring break at Wimberly Retreat. The home and property are simply lovely and we experienced no issues, with pre-arrival communication and in-home instructions covering all the bases! We utilized the pool (in short bursts!), the hot tub, kayaked in the river, played basketball and a variety of games, and made smores. We left with many fond memories and will seek to stay at Wimberly Retreat again, if we plan to be in the area.

I friend and I got together to celebrate two Sister's of St Benedict celebrating their 75 th Birthday's . We planned this trip for over a year. I flew in from MN - my friend lives in Wimberly. We came a few days to prepare for their arrival. When we walked in we were amazed at the beautiful pool, spa hot tub. The landscaping was amazing . We played corn ball and “HORSE” in basketball. We walked all on the property. We lite fires in the fireplace,listening to music over their” SONUS” Sytem.Saw a full rainbow on our last night. Had an issue with the propane grill- but Mike came over right away and educated me on it.Thank you so much Robert and wife for opening up your home to us.

We had such a nice time. It rained the most of the week but we were very comfortable in the house. It’s super clean and has all of the amenities you could want. Robert was very easy to get ahold of and very helpful. We were very pleased!

We loved the house. Access to the river, the pool, and the pavilion provided many entertainment opportunities. The house had all the supplies needed to make the trip easy. Other than food, we didn't need to bring anything. The host was communicative and available to address any issues (we didn't have any). I would highly recommend, and we will be returning in the future.

Highly recommend!!! Roby was excellent in terms of communication and responsiveness. The house was exceptional - clean, spacious, and had every amenity we could have possibly needed. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub, exploring the creek, basketball hoop, and fire place. Our multi-family visit was excellent and we would love to come again!

10 acres meant total privacy. A guy came to clean the pool and was the only person we saw. 7 year old LOVED the River, catching minnows and frogs. Then it was the large pool. Nearness to Wimberley was great. HEB for groceries and lots of BBQ to choose. Thanks to Robby for making suggestions. Our son organized a great corn hole competition for grownups and picked the 7 year old to be the judge, so she was involved. Plenty of facilities for cooking, inside and outside. For guests who desire solitude, this is an easy choice.

Everything about the house and the property was exactly as advertised! This home had it all! Spacious rooms to host our family of 11 (7 adults & 4 children), a large swimming pool, basketball court, fire pit, Blanco River frontage with deep water, huge dining table, well stocked kitchen with every item we needed! Roby's communication was excellent, and he replied immediately to any questions we had before and during our stay. We cannot say enough great things about this home. We will definitely return!

The property and home exceeded our expectation. There were 8’of us, all from the class of 1974, and we absolutely loved sitting outside, enjoying the view, clean air and outdoor sounds. The property is beautiful and the house is lovely, equipped with everything you need. It was the perfect getaway. We will be back.

This luxury home had it all! Spacious rooms to host our four families (total of 13 guests); large swimming pool for fun games; sport court for pickleball (we brought a pickleball set); Blanco River frontage with deep water; huge dining table for meals and games; separate den area for the younger guests; every kitchen item we needed; three coffee pots; full size toiletries and plenty of toilet tissue! I cannot say enough great things about this home. We are definitely returning!

All the extras, basketball goal, pavilion, fire ring, grill, large porches for chilling in the shade and breeze. Easy to access with the help of the management’s instructions. Had a great stay! the house is very large, has toys and games for kids, has pool equipment, the spa was wonderful to use and heat up when the sun went down. Rooms are large with lots of beds and baths. Every room has an en-suite. The kitchen is well stocked although the oven is dated and makes a loud noise when it is heating. Two fridges so lots of space to keep your beverages cold. OVerall had a great stay and would absolutely come back again! We have stayed at numerous places in Hill country and this is a great find.

We had the best family get together at this Wimberley home. The 5 bedrooms were perfect. We cooked most of our meals, and we had everything we needed in this well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing in and around the pool. There had been rain so that we could not explore the river as it was a little high, but we did play games on the basketball court. We will definitely rent this home again.

We all love going to the river and hanging out on the big rocks enjoying nature! Such a special place and we are never disappointed. The owner always checks on us and is very accommodating and if there is ever an issue , he takes care of it in a flash! This place is so special to my family. It is a yearly trip we talk about all year! Love it!!

We loved our recent weekend in Wimberley and Roby’s was everything we needed. We were a group of eight with ages ranging from 9 to 50. The kitchen was perfect and made even better with its gorgeous view. The big TV was just what the guys needed to watch football. The river access was perfect for fly fishing and lounging. So many memories were made and we look forward to doing it again!

Everything about the house and the property was exactly as advertised! This home had it all! Spacious rooms to host our family of 11 (7 adults & 4 children), a large swimming pool, basketball court, fire pit, Blanco River frontage with deep water, huge dining table, well stocked kitchen with every item we needed! Roby's communication was excellent, and he replied immediately to any questions we had before and during our stay. We cannot say enough great things about this home. We will definitely return!

Each summer our family of twelve takes a trip, and this was one of the best. Between the house, porch, pool, pavilion and the river, we never really needed to leave to find entertainment. Swimming, fishing and corn hole were big players! We cooked dinner each evening and found the kitchen very well stocked. H-E-B is ten minutes away so grocery shopping was easy. Sleeping accommodations worked perfectly for us. Grandmother stayed in the downstairs bonus room. Each of the three couples had their own room and the teens and children shared the bedroom with three beds. This house definitely lived up to the hype. What a great place! Thank you, Roby.

This property was absolutely perfect…beautiful home, gorgeous river, great fishing, perfect pool, fantastic pavilion close to river with basketball court, and the host was just the best!!! This was a family trip from ages 68 all the way down to nine, and everyone loved it!!! We would definitely come here again!!!
