The staff were awesome. One problem was quickly corrected, refrigerator placed in room. Needed A/C, had to open windows because of the heat. Bed was placed with one side against wall and the end of the bed was facing the entry door (a no no for some Asian woman). My wife is Filipina and she did not like the bed placement. It was a small room and unable to move the bed to a better spot.

First time staying here. Great location! Just a few blocks from the beach and on the main road Ocean with numerous shops, cafes, and restaurants. Although our room #1 was quite spacious, and easy to access from 3 point on the corner/block, there were some challenges: Lack of natural light with 2 small windows facing a courtyard of shops so privacy would be lacking if we opened the blinds completed. There is dark wood paneling and it is a victorian-ish style furniture so kinda dark during the day but at night there was a good amount of lighting in the room. There was an old AC unit on the wall which didn't work well so the room was quite muggy and warm (on a day that was in the 80s F). Bed was large but mattress was saggy. Sofabed was large but mattress slanted down towards the head making it lower than the feet. There were no outlets easy accessible near the bed to plug in and charge cell phones that would be used as alarms. The worse issue in our unit was no cold water in the shower to offset the hot so the water was burning hot. I couldn't finish washing my face in the shower for fear of being scalded. Also there is one street spot to park for 15 minutes to unload your baggage, but our night, the free garage was full so we had to park on the street. Street parking monitoring starts at 8am and is 2 hours. During a weekday, that's not bad but on a weekend, I think that would be challenging.

Hated the bed; no mattress pad under sheets and pillows were huge foam bags unsuitable for sleeping. Staff were wonderful as was the parking. Fan provided was a noisy window fan and it was impossible to open a window in the room.
