A comfortable hotel near the train station and within a 20 minute walk of the middle of Crewe. Lots of parking on site for £7 a night, and well equipped rooms with AC.

Pros: Breakfast included, welcoming to dogs, bathroom is really outstanding for a budget hotel, room is modern and comfortable, very clean, enjoyed having a skylight, air con/heating, I liked the design of the building looking like a cruise ship, McDonald's pretty much right outside the door, very close to train station, green areas for dog walking. Cons: Felt like the cheapest of everything for breakfast, parking area felt a bit dark and grim behind the building, there was a really horrible smell from the drains which is the main thing we now remember unfortunately, hopefully it was a temporary thing and now sorted, would stay again and hope that was sorted as the nice rooms make up for it.

Staff at the hotel were all Indian and so kind and friendly - really cared about guests. Have a curry restaurant at the hotel and a small bar. Bar doesn't open until 6.00. Lovely en-suite bathroom. Bed very comfy. Very fast lift with no waiting. Very good hotel for the bargain price. Will book again.

Chosen for convenience to railway station - just a few minutes walk. Hotel has changed hands in last couple of years and needs a refresh, room a bit tired and dated. It was fine for a single night to get some sleep before an early start but no with no evening food it is really just a large B&B, albeit with a bar which I didn't try. Car park chargeable on an app only, and quite expensive - probably to deter railway traffic.

We’ve stayed here for years on business when it was a holiday inn. Had no idea it had been taken but wow have they let the place go. Dirty rooms, doors not locking, bar shuts at 09:00, no information on check in, we had endless issues. Staff on reception were less than helpful in rectifying them. Real shame as it used to be a nice hotel but will not be staying again !

Hotel great location. It needs a bit of TLC nothing major but simple things would make a massive difference. Room had a balcony which we loved would stay again.

They was no way to enter building with out steps. The first language isn’t English and they can find it hard to understand English. They don’t have any GF bread or vegetarian stuff like sausages for breakfast. They advertise being a buffet restaurant which isn’t true and you have to wait for ever for your evening meal. Which is hardly anything and expensive. However if you are on third floor you do get a balcony. You get a code for your room instead of a card. Take a photo of it and it’s easier to look after than a card. Outside you have a McDonalds in the same area about two minutes from the door. The cost of the night is good. I hope the hot water is working for you as they had only got it back up and running the morning before I went home. They did warn me though. I hope you have a great night. I do enjoy their beds and pillows. I have had a great night but I eat at McDonalds it’s cheaper and better.

Outside needs updating but honestly it was perfect for our overnight trip to the theatre. Comfortable, clean and very quiet so had a good night sleep. Short taxi ride to the theatre.

The staff are lovely and very welcoming, but the bathroom in our family room was not up to standards, the shower head had black all over it and needed a good clean. when i cleaned it myself and finely got in the shower it then flooded at the base because the draining was blocked 😮💨 its a shame because it was a lovely room but the bathroom let it down.

The quality of this hotel has been declining slowly over the last few years. The general facilities are ok. You get a comfortable bed, with good pillows, and clean linen. The air con works in most rooms. The carpets, walls, curtains, and windows could do with a deep clean. The showers are good sized, but water performance is dreadful. Its often cool water from thw mixer shower only, even though the hot water tap in the sink is fine. Tvs are small, and not much bigger than 28" but that\'s only a minor issue. The breakfast variety is ok, but the scrambled egg is always bitter. I\'ve never found any chef who makes scrambled eggs taste so awful. Staff try to be helpful and are generally polite.

The carpet in the room was shockingly disgusting, it was covered in stains and crumbs, main bed was ok but the " two single beds " i.e sofa bed was broken with a 3" foam mattress on top , which made it impossible to sleep on, I ended up opting for the floor which was the lesser of 2 evils, the balcony door didn't lock tiles were loose in the bathroom, silicone was rotten, the wiring upder the desk did not look professionally installed, all in all not a very enjoyable night,

The main overall stars I've given are for the hotel's convinience to the train station as i had an early train connection. I didn't use the rest of the facilities but I was disappointed by the bed linen which was stained , the mattress protector to be precise and one of the towels. Problems finding my booking at check-in. Room very hot. Air conditioning not working. Heated towel rail on constantly and no way to turn it off. TV didn't work. Morning shower had only cold water.

I've stopped here many times as it is great for Crewe Station, however this visit has proved its changing. The room i was given Friday night looked like it had been involved in a scuffle from the previous people. Lots of marks on the bathroom door including it being taped up holding the glass in place, also the TV wouldn't work. I had arrived late travelling down from Scotland in the Storm Amy and really just wanted my bed. But having to return to reception and ask for another room made me very disappointed. Also to charge £20 for breakfast is far too much. I think I deserve a part refund.

Room right next to staff room and within steps from reception. Loud banging from doors after 6am Smoker next door - tried calling reception for help no answer so had to put up with it Poor quality shower Decor is nice, but wouldn’t rate as a 3 star hotel.: more like a 2

Reasonable price and facilities. Spacious room good bed and bedding. Good ensuite facility. Kettle with provisions and TV. Downside was creaky floorboards in room and adjacent rooms made it sound as if people were moving about in your room. Minor niggle but noticeable.

Air conditioning didnt work and asked for a fan 3 times before they found me one which took over 2 hours. 2 times there was arguements at reception due to overbooking. No room cards, it was a piece of paper with a long number code on that i had to keep with me.

The breakfast was extremely limited, a lot of the items were empty, what was available was gross. The buffet was a mess, it looked like there had been a food fight. The staff was rude, my check in was extremely slow as the desk staff insisted on giving his opinions, as he assumed I was foreign, rather than check me in. I understand it is probably a boring job but it was late and I just wanted to get to bed. When I got down to the breakfast with about 40 minutes remaining according to their website this same member of staff made a comment about how late I was. I got very little sleep as I could hear every other guest shouting and slamming around all night. The parking lot is tiny and poorly laid out so many spaces aren't actually usable unless you have a motorbike. Don't count on getting a space, which is too bad as the only thing going for this place is that it is right off the motorway so I had booked it as the halfway point of my journey to avoid driving through the middle of the night.

What stay !!! No stay turned away. No booking. Hotel has changed hands and they said that YOU knew. Left high and dry nowhere to stay. Weekend ruined. I will wait for your response then review. Look out for the review. REFUND IMMEDIATELY

Got an email a few days before asking to check in online so i could get a door code, there was no link to actually check in though! When i arrived the guy on reception was friendly but was having trouble getting my room details on his device which caused some delay. The air con in the room had a fault code displayed and didn't work, a small fan was provided, but not much use when they had the window closed and the air con control box said it was 30c! Shower was good and removed the sweat in the morning. This used to be a semi-decent Holiday Inn Express, now a disappointing last resort in the OYO range!

Room right next to staff room and within steps from reception. Loud banging from doors after 6am Smoker next door - tried calling reception for help no answer so had to put up with it Poor quality shower Decor is nice, but wouldn’t rate as a 3 star hotel.: more like a 2

Air conditioning didnt work and asked for a fan 3 times before they found me one which took over 2 hours. 2 times there was arguements at reception due to overbooking. No room cards, it was a piece of paper with a long number code on that i had to keep with me.

Pros: Breakfast included, welcoming to dogs, bathroom is really outstanding for a budget hotel, room is modern and comfortable, very clean, enjoyed having a skylight, air con/heating, I liked the design of the building looking like a cruise ship, McDonald's pretty much right outside the door, very close to train station, green areas for dog walking. Cons: Felt like the cheapest of everything for breakfast, parking area felt a bit dark and grim behind the building, there was a really horrible smell from the drains which is the main thing we now remember unfortunately, hopefully it was a temporary thing and now sorted, would stay again and hope that was sorted as the nice rooms make up for it.

West Coast trains had been severely disrupted and I could get to Crewe but no further, and there was no certainty the rail staff were going to be able to help several hundred people at a late hour. This is convenient, modern and extremely good value. I had a good night's sleep. Check it out whether or not you are going to be delayed!!

Good value for money, could do with some maintaining and upkeeping. It’s not for everyone I’d say. Fortunately I’m on my own and don’t mind the little things. The card sensor in my initial room was not working properly, the receptionist assigned another room to me. The second room now has a working card sensor which means I’m able to get in. From inside the room, it wasn’t possible to lock the door, there isn’t a latch and the knob on the door for the lock doesn’t catch to the frame. The ventilation unit is quite noisy, the pillow are huge and too hard for me to sleep on. The tv is located in a weird spot where if you sat by the desk, you have to raise your head to watch it, or if you try to control it from the bed, you’ll need to raise your hand so the remote height is same level as the receiver on the tv. That say, these aren’t that important in my stay so I’m happy to stay without a secondary lock on the door, or suboptimal tv placement or unsuitable pillow. The breakfast and the staff were amazing and helpful. The amenities and the location is very ideal for my purpose of the trip as well.

I had a train to catch at 7:15, and the breakfast hadn't all been put out at 6:55. Got what i couldfor my journey. The woman that emerged from the kitchen was rather rude to me. Never mind.

Ideal hotel for a short stay to explore the area. Creee is nothing special but there’s lots to see in the area. Staff were super friendly, breakfast was tradition full English buffet. There wasn’t a lot of choice for those who don’t want that. Only basic sliced bread , no fresh rolls or croissants.

Could tell it was recently taken over and just getting started. Teething problems with the coffee machine at breakfast and no white sugar, however they were on the ball at getting it all sorted. Really nice clean room, heated mirror in the bathroom and rather modern. Evening meal not really available on site, shame as a few curries on the menu looked rather good. Friendly service and i would stay again. Parking £7 additional to pay on site througha scanned code.

The staff were just ok. Our room was clean. However, the TV would not find any channels. When I looked at the back, it was unplugged from the aerial socket. The hair dryer did not work, my wife has long hair. Reception said they would send one up. Two attempts on day one, nothing. Two attempts on day two, nothing. No usb ports, they lent us a plug in charger. The heated towel rail was too hot to touch. You have to pay for parking, two nights cost me £26. It says it is a city centre hotel, it's easily 3/4 of a mile into the town centre. Ok for younger people.

We did have a Balcony with the door open it did help with keeping cool overnight, but unfortunately we had a guest next to us that was smoking on there balcony and smoke drifted into our room, but otherwise had a good nights rest.
