I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this property was. Great pool area and outdoor dining area with fire pits. There was a coffee shop and a nice restaurant and bar area with TVs it was very nice I will definitely come back.

A nice property. Mostly really good service but the room cleaning service is hit and miss. There were days they forgot our room. Days they only did light cleaning. Evidently you have to request daily cleaning. And even after I requested daily cleaning, it was still hit and miss.

Everything was great except the beds are so soft that I literally was up several times during the night. (I forgot that I stayed in a Marriott 10 years ago and never went back for that very reason.) Other than the marshmallow bed everything was pretty nice. The rooms are super tidy and clean, comfortable, the shower had tons of water pressure, the cocktails were great in the bar. If you're cool with mushy beds you're going to like this place!

The room was large and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the large, comfortable couch, but I would have liked an adjustable reading light instead of the very bright overheard lamp . The bathroom was very user friendly, with an easy to figure out shower that had a step just right for shaving my legs. The only reason that my review is Good instead of Excellent is that the bed was so hard that I woke up with a backache each morning. Maybe a memory foam pad could solve that problem?

I had a great experience regarding cleanliness and scenery, however, the staff was beyond rude to me. Simple toiletry was hard to get without feeling like a burden. The fire alarm had also gone off while I was showering, when I went to go to the front desk to ask what happened. The front desk treated me like I had said nothing of importance, I went back to the room with the alarm still going off, I was an hour from checkout but I had to pack early to get out of the loud alarm. They ended up finally calling and heard the alarm going off still. Finally sent a technician, however he was rude as well, I greeted and it seemed to be an inconvenience that my loud room was ruining my stay. Finally he took off the fire alarm and proceeded to ask with a rude tone if my wife and I were vaping. While we both were still soaked from the shower, we had to do our best to rush out without doing harm to ourselves, thinking it was an actual emergency but in the end we were treated with hostility. Wouldn’t say I would recommend the hotel but the area was really amazing.

Parking fee for being in a suburban area is expensive at $35. WiFi was not free either. Check in staff could have been better — we arrived at 11:30pm and checked in. The keys were to a room that was occupied! The door opened slightly (safety locked from the inside). Thank goodness the occupant did not see me. There was no apology from the front desk, they gave me another set of keys and joked that if my new room was also occupied that I might consider this not my day!

The photos on the booking pages had created an elevated expectation of where we were staying, I had created a shortlist between this hotel and one in Torrey Pines on the beach but chose this hotel based on the main pool picture which looked exquisite, it was not and the picture is a misrepresentation of a hotel in the middle of a corporate office complex, so disappointed with the hotel, the location and the pool. Wish I’d done more research and stayed at the hotel in Torrey Pines which was a similar cost.

Thoroughly enjoyed this property. Spent most of the time in nearby La Jolla, and this hotel was conveniently located near UCSD. Very quiet and clean hotel. Will definitely return.

The bed and pillows are a little hard. Had breakfast couple of times in the property’s restaurant but was disappointed both times. The salmon eggs Benedict was bland and served with soggy and oily crusted hash browns. The French toast was lacking in proportion. Pancakes were chewy and tasteless. Staff were pleasant though. I think Marriot is overpriced for what’s worth.

Everything was nice and clean. The room was very big and lots of space to get ready. The breakfast was good! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again when I’m in San Diego the perfect location.

Staff was accommodating and nice. But when my girlfriend and I went to the bar/restaurant located downstairs, we were double charged and still are waiting to hear from the manager , I believe his name is Ricky. We have not received a call or email from any manager in regards to the manner.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this property was. Great pool area and outdoor dining area with fire pits. There was a coffee shop and a nice restaurant and bar area with TVs it was very nice I will definitely come back.

We got a room with no view and we went to eat at restaurant they slushee machine was broken, they were out of drinks not a good experience. We asked for roll out bed they did not bring it to the room. We had to pay for parking that was not mentioned during booking

Great for the price.. the hotel itself is clean, onsite Starbucks to grab a quick meal. Has a small hotel store stocked with essentials. The onsite restaurant has great food breakfast, lunch, happy hour & dinner. The rooms were clean & modern amenities. I was missing a try for my in room coffee machine. Check that when you enter your room. Looking forward to staying here again!

We had to change our room twice...first one was right in front of large air-conditioning units so very noisy, second one was stinking from smoke, in a non-smoking room so clearly somebody didnt follow the rules...third one was fine. Staff was great. Coffee place awesome. Gym quite usable. We didnt use the pool or hot tube.

Be aware nothing is included in price Paid $1200 for two rooms Clerk gave me the key for the room and said to me you can use to go in and out in the parking lot to park obviously every restaurant have a parking lot When I checked out she charged. Me $75 for 2 days to park I mean to park in their parking they charge That’s a scam never again in this place

The property is beautiful and the pool is really great in Jacuzzi as well. There’s not too much stuff around, but it’s easy to get to other towns close by in the rooms are really spacious. They could use a little bit of touching up. Ours had a crack along the ceiling. The front desk staff was nice and professional but the valet guys were awesome and I mean awesome they were super friendly and they greeted everyone had small conversations, answered questions, gave directions and were cool. I definitely would stay there again. Especially during the off season. I am usually a Hilton guy and I think they have turned me to Marriott.
