George Hotel by Greene King Inns

El hotel tiene su encanto, pero falta un ascensor lo cual cree dificultades con el equipaje para una persona mayor. El cuarto de baño necesita una ducha movible. Sólo había desayuno continental por problemas en la cocina. Creo que es caro por lo que se ofrece.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Easy parking, pleasant, sunny courtyard. Room was spacious and clean, comfortable bed, an extra table & comfortable chairs. Breakfast was very nice, eggs were perfectly poached. We had a couple of meals in the bar and they were delicious.

Central location. Free parking.

Great hotel that absolutely met our needs. Really friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was ok. Decent size room, clean and a good location for the town centre / short walk from the station. It did fail on a few fronts for me though: the room was very warm, the sink was slow to drain, the loo took several flushes, even just for a piece of tissue paper, the towels were quite small, there was no plug anywhere near the bed, the floorboards in the room above were very squeaky, the reception never seemed to be staffed meaning check in was unnecessarily slow and, not the hotel's fault of course, but it seemed like workmen started digging up the road at about 11pm. So, overall, decent enough for the price but lots of little niggles which let it down somewhat.
