Handy for the airport. On site parking, though you need to pay extra for this. Room has a handy wall mounted fan. Shops and restaurants close by. Pretty reasonable price. Comfortable bed.

Nice hotel, convenient for the airport. However the reception isn't open 24/7 and they didn't leave us enough soap and shampoo in the room for two people, and we couldn't ask for more. There was also an emergency exit with a green light in the room that was on the whole night, very hard to sleep when there's a green light shining the whole night...

The lodge is about a 10 minutes walk from the station, check in was fast and easy. If you turn right when you come out there are shops, restaurants, takeaways and bars within 5 minutes walk. The bustop that takes you to the airport is about a minutes walk, just turn left as you come out of the building. The Lodge has the timetable, it is also displayed at the bustop. Very convenient and comfortable place to stay.

This venue had a nice new tarmac drive and parking spaces. The interior however was a little dated. I was in room 4 on 2nd floor (no lift), and the noise coming from the other rooms and corridor was noticable. Ensuite was small, bed was okay, wifi was okay. There were a few places in the town centre to eat (evening meal) and a couple of cafes for breakfast. This was no more than a 10 minute walk. Had to pay £10 to park vehicle at venue.

I stayed here 1 night and it was much better than I expected from the reviews. Very clean. Nice room with good bedding. Very quiet for sleeping. I arrived late and was worried about being able to park my car but they had put a cone in a space for me which was very thoughtful. It was £8 to park but well worth is especially as the room was extremely cheap. Nice area.

What I expected - clean, basic accommodation. Being an older building the stairs are narrow which could make hauling suitcases a bit difficult. As in many similar B&Bs the plumbing was new and the corner shower stall small.

Great value stay. The hotel is within walking distance from the airport, but there’s also a bus or a train you can catch. The rooms were a little dated but were very clean and the staff were lovely.

Everything was great. Ideal for a night before the airport. Clean, warm, tea and coffee, hot shower, wifi. The man at reception was very helpful to us. Bus stop for Gatwick bus is 1 minute away. Dont be paying for taxis- look up the bus time table, no 100 or no 20.

Great stay for the airport. Allow you to eat takeaways in the dining area. Helpful staff. Just 5 minutes from town centre with plenty of eateries and good cafes. Easy bus service to Gatwick although not much room for bigger cases on the buses. Fastway need to take note.

Felt very itchy on hand and back at night and turned the night on and found a black bug on the comforter and killed it and it had blood. One of my hand was swollen because of the bite. When mentioning to the staff all he said was they did not have bedbugs.

All the bed clothing is cheap.shower was blocked so unhygienic way to take shower .reception is not 24 hours so could not report to any one 6.30 in morning about the issue as getting late for airport.did report later but instead of getting an apology and refund owner refuse to apologies and apparently we should report the issue to non existent reception staff and should check the plumbing in the night before talking the room .it was only 12 pounds cheaper then travel lodge which is far better option and same distance from airport and 24 hour reception.so will not recommend.also rooms are very very small

I arrived really late, but luckily they have an option to manage that. But unfortunately the room had a really bad musty/cheesey feet smell. I also left before reception opened so I was not able to discuss it with anyone. My room was top of the stairs second door on the left. Besides that it was clean.

Disorganised person on reception. Gave us wrong keys sent us to wrong room. Forgot to take car registration. Room carpet smelt. Very noisy fan In Bathroom. Thick dust on skirting. Only plus was the bed was comfortable.

Stayed before and was very good. This time would rate as excellent. Arrived early by train but we were greeted in a friendly manner. We left our luggage safely while we went for lunch with our room key, although we were told our room would be ready in 10 minutes. The room was recently refurbished and was very clean with a king size comfy bed and good shower. We had a problem with the lock on our suitcase and Krunal was brilliant in solving our problem. Would not hesitate to stay again in future. Although, they don't do meals, you can eat takeaways etc in the dining areas.

Comfortable bed. Major issues: Disasterous shower which had a non-thermostatic tap resulting in water temperature swinging wildly from cold to hot. Minor issues: A few of the mains sockets didn't work. No decaf coffee.

Hotel is just 5 min drive from Gatwick which was great. Room quite small but fine for just me for a couple of nights stay. Furnishings a bit out dated but clean enough. Bed was comfy. £5 fee to park per day which is reasonable. Would use again

Was very clean and comfortable, in the main, nice host and ideally located. Tv wasnt working though and the room was a bit stuffy throughout the night. Would happily stay again though.

Ok for one night, room very hot and stuffy. Security of room door awful, one Yale lock with missing lock button. It woukd have been easy to shoulder the door open. I wedged a chair and other items in front - didnt make me feel safe as i was on my own.

Ideal location for Gatwick airport. Easy access after hours. Quiet area. Room suitable for one night stay. Could do with updating - toilet brush holder and towel rail rusty. Shower was low pressure and close to the wall so had to stand right at the taps and lean in to get wet, temperature was good tho. Despite this, would stay again for location and price.

Staff member was friendly and explained everything clearly. He helped me with my luggage which was nice as the stairs are quite steep and narrow. Room was good but bathroom was tiny, I thought I had booked shared bathroom but had my own but there was no room to manoeuvre. I had a shower and the water pressure was good but the walls were wet from humidity as extraction was a bit weak. The toilet was very close to the wall so was uncomfortable and you got a cold wet leg. Heating in room was good and you could turn it up or down as needed, but the bathroom was cold. Very close to restaurants and public transportation.

Perfectly pleasant property – all the staff were lovely and location is great – it was very rundown for the price – peeling wallpaper, threabare carpet and despite double glazing it was very noisy from the main road in the room we had. Should add the property was spotless and the breakfast was fantastic..

Only stayed one night as on an early flight from Gatwick next day. Really good for transport links, arrived by and departed by bus to Gatwick, stop only 30 seconds away from the hotel. Walked into town, a wide selection of food outlets nearby. There seems to be a breakfast room downstairs, but the guy who checked me in didn’t mention anything about breakfast, possibly as I was leaving early. I was in a single room and it didn’t have space for a bedside table, so had to charge my phone at the foot of the bed, no big problem with that, but it was hot and could’ve done with something to put my water bottle on. The room had a fan so temperature wise it was ok, but a little noisy but noise from the road or other rooms was not noticeable.

It’s a well kept property close to Gatwick Airport seems very popular with guests. Staff was extremely helpful to make my stay comfortable as I had missed the connecting flight to Malaga, Spain. Specially Mr Kringle and Mr Chirag who not only tried his best to get me flt connection on the following but dropped me at the airport in his personal car. This courteous attitude of Chirag goes much beyond his duty and I thank him for that. Partap Narula, Calgary, Canada

All the bed clothing is cheap.shower was blocked so unhygienic way to take shower .reception is not 24 hours so could not report to any one 6.30 in morning about the issue as getting late for airport.did report later but instead of getting an apology and refund owner refuse to apologies and apparently we should report the issue to non existent reception staff and should check the plumbing in the night before talking the room .it was only 12 pounds cheaper then travel lodge which is far better option and same distance from airport and 24 hour reception.so will not recommend.also rooms are very very small

Stayed before and was very good. This time would rate as excellent. Arrived early by train but we were greeted in a friendly manner. We left our luggage safely while we went for lunch with our room key, although we were told our room would be ready in 10 minutes. The room was recently refurbished and was very clean with a king size comfy bed and good shower. We had a problem with the lock on our suitcase and Krunal was brilliant in solving our problem. Would not hesitate to stay again in future. Although, they don't do meals, you can eat takeaways etc in the dining areas.

Very easy to get to by bus from Gatwick station or short walk from Horley station. Nice pub and Horley town walkable for food and drink. Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms, staff helpful and lots of advice before we arrived for how to get there, parking options, taxis to Gatwick etc. Well priced for accommodation convenient for Gatwick.

The lodge is about a 10 minutes walk from the station, check in was fast and easy. If you turn right when you come out there are shops, restaurants, takeaways and bars within 5 minutes walk. The bustop that takes you to the airport is about a minutes walk, just turn left as you come out of the building. The Lodge has the timetable, it is also displayed at the bustop. Very convenient and comfortable place to stay.

Very comfortable stay, the room had everything we needed and was very quiet. The bus from Gatwick drops you almost outside and Horley train station is about 15 minutes walk. The staff are very helpful if you need an airport taxi. There is a great pub, the Six Bells only 10 minutes walk and other dining options in town, also walkable.

A short 2.2km walk from Gatwick. Path marked but rough in parts so be aware if you have a trolley suitcase. Plain room but clean. Relatively quiet for being so close to the airport. Shops nearby in Horley to get food and several Pubs and takeaway meal options.

Only stayed one night as on an early flight from Gatwick next day. Really good for transport links, arrived by and departed by bus to Gatwick, stop only 30 seconds away from the hotel. Walked into town, a wide selection of food outlets nearby. There seems to be a breakfast room downstairs, but the guy who checked me in didn’t mention anything about breakfast, possibly as I was leaving early. I was in a single room and it didn’t have space for a bedside table, so had to charge my phone at the foot of the bed, no big problem with that, but it was hot and could’ve done with something to put my water bottle on. The room had a fan so temperature wise it was ok, but a little noisy but noise from the road or other rooms was not noticeable.

Good value for money. The room was spacious and in good condition, and the breakfast was also good for the price. Only criticism is that there was no decaf hot drinks, and no wholemeal bread (also no alternative milk, like oat or soya).

rooms are nothing like the pictures. very small the the door couldn’t even open properly as it hit the bed. beds are very uncomfortable and we had holes and stains on our bedding. bathroom is no bigger than a caravan bathroom with a very weak water flow in the shower. also had no lock on bathroom door. states breakfast is available but when asked they said they don’t do breakfast. walls are so thin so could hear everything else going on in the hotel. when booking is says parking is included but once booked had to then pay for parking each night.

Perfectly pleasant property – all the staff were lovely and location is great – it was very rundown for the price – peeling wallpaper, threabare carpet and despite double glazing it was very noisy from the main road in the room we had. Should add the property was spotless and the breakfast was fantastic..

The hotel was ok for an early morning flight from Gatwick. The room was tired but seemed ok and the bed was comfortable. The toilet was not spotless and I did not use the shower. It was not particularly inviting-looking The welcome was friendly and the position convenient; there were a few places for food and drink nearby. I was advised on taxis and that worked out fine.

Great stay for the airport. Allow you to eat takeaways in the dining area. Helpful staff. Just 5 minutes from town centre with plenty of eateries and good cafes. Easy bus service to Gatwick although not much room for bigger cases on the buses. Fastway need to take note.

El personal muy amable desde que reservé, me dieron opciones para llegar al lugar. Siempre muy amables y atentos. Tomando el bus 100 llegas a la terminal North de Gatwick solo a 7 minutos y la parada está a unos cuantos pasos del hotel. Gracias

Very convenient for train/bus to airport. Out of hours check in well communicated. Room and bathroom were clean and functional. By reception so a bit noisy with comings and goings…so bring earplugs. Had warm overnight weather and as a ground floor room I was reluctant to open the windows whilst I slept. There was a fan supplied, but it was quite dirty, so didn’t want to use that and whizz god knows what around the room! Some form of clean cooling in the room, or window opening restriction would be great. Good price for the night, but to be able to use the fan, and be supplied an option of just sheet rather than a full duvet would be great.

I needed to stay one night close to Gatwick airport, and this was perfect. I took the bus from Gatwick but you could also walk. Very easy and a decent rest! Close to the rail station for connecting to London.
